its really quite unfortunate in my opinion. You got a ton of upvotes because people thought you built this. I find it very suspicious when a bronze user posts a platinum level build. oh well....@Jpg408
theres a lot of things that swirl around in my head every time you post something like this but i like to be nice so listen up......YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ATTENTION IN THE WRONG PLACES IN THE WRONG WAYS. If you need help get help. Simple Planes is a GAME, its not a self help workshop.@Spacedoge12345plane
Why on earth is this stuff posted on a game site? I completely understand whats being said in this post but there is a "TIME" and a "PLACE" for everything and im quite sure that a gaming site is not the place for this topic...ever...
I think users just get tired of doing the same thing over and over again. If you strive to build better with each build you will eventually reach the point where it just gets old. I think there is a big misconception with this program. I have never looked at this as a game. This is more of virtual lego software to me that allows you to test out what your brain envisions. There are many much more "fun" games to be played out there. I keep building because I think its fun to test out what I build and see what other people come up with but this is not a fun game and never has been although its fun to build stuff. Just my humble opinion.
You will find when you get older the illusion that people in decision making positions usually dont utilize their brains during the coarse of daily operations. We have a saying at my job “ to get promoted you have to be a moron or a idiot “ because all members of management are absolutely stupid. So its easy for me to understand how stuff like that up there happens.
WTH! lol! cant we just enjoy a build without having to resort to stupid comments?? lol who cares what the hell the guy looks like or what hes cooking its a pretty cool build regardless...SMH!! lol
I thought the use of a propeller engine from the list was necessary. I dont think its fair to allow a plane that has no propeller engine equipped. If thats the case why list it as "prop class" if people can manipulate their own engines that arent from the generic list? @AndrewGarrison
if you want upvotes it seems anyone that uploads any ww2 replicas gets more upvotes than the build deserves...i prefer building from imagination. Theres a new P51 uploaded every hour it seems and people never get tired of them...except me :-D
nice for a 1st plane. i concur with the below comment use fuselage parts for the body, the blocks you used are old school and really limit what you can build. What i always suggest to people is take apart some planes and see how they do certain things. put some good reusable parts in your sub assembly so you can use them in your own builds. Feel free to take any of mine apart. My recent upload is a drone, it uses quite a bit if modded parts that you can use.
I saw your post last night.... honestly, i think stuff like that puts the mods in a tough position because you posted something that really has no business on a game site, no offense but it doesn't. Posts like that can also be harmful, they have to think about the community as a whole and if one user posts something like you did it has the potential to cause more harm than whatever good you intended. Just keep this in mind for the future because this is true everywhere you will ever go....Keep religion and politics out of public conversations or posts....there are specific forums out there for those topics...just my opinion...have a good day.
i kinda agree with deadly below, upvotes are great but if you really pay attention a LOT of poor builds get lots of upvotes all the time. the entire upvote system is really messed up. upvotes have become a popularity contest rather than build quality and unique characteristics. look at some of awesomers builds.. gets huge amounts of votes for builds that dont justify them. ( just using him as a example because he openly admits things about his builds )
TY bud for the conpliment and upvote. Even though the part count isnt high this took a lot of work having to size everything and nudge it all into place. @DaDragonMasta
Yes. Its a username weve used since 2004 for a few things. If I knew i would like SP so much i wouldve picked something a little cooler though :-D . I work at the base where lockheed is building the F35. It never gets old seeing it hover... its a much more amazing machine than people give it credit for.@Gameboi14
Nice Job! It could use some work balancing the weight and the landing gear placement. It looks very nice though. also, those engines eat the amount of fuel you have very quickly so maybe add a modded fuel cell?
Im now building my entry for this challenge, i wanted to finish up my last drone before i focused on this. I really love this challenge, the weapons bay forces you to really think about how you build.
I agree 100% and do the same. whether its something i see on a movie or driving by i think “ could i build that “ :-D. I actually like this program more than any game or software ive ever used because the possibilities are endless. I even think in a future update they should change the name to “ Simple Creations “ and adjust it to more neutral builds instead of based around planes. Either way Im here for the long haul @Kerbango @marcox43
no roll, flies straight as a.....straight line....i suspect what they may be experiencing is flight dynamics of +mach 5 how roll and pitch can become exaggerated. @SledDriver
your planes fly really well. it makes me think you have played this for a long time. theres a lot of building techniques you use that a lot of gold level people dont even use. im very impressed
YW, a few months ago I played around with a recoil canon but never finished it. I didnt like the idea the gun causing damage to the build so i played around with a few ideas and one that seemed to work well was placing a spring in the middle and a piston on each side with (fireguns) as the input. it worked well and didnt cause damage to the build. Just a idea if you want to try it out. Tag me on your next one and ill test it out for you if youre interested.
@GenericWhiteGuy
Here is some constructive criticism and advice to help you in the future...
1- Test your build out prior to uploading, make sure all the added features work properly. When I tested the rear gear doors are stuck down and it has a auto roll issue. Also, it seemed to me all the controls could be better thought out...i/e - flaps and such
2- Make your plane look more presentable in the pictures. Use the high quality setting when taking your picks. Use a better color scheme...i/e the windows are black, use the popular mirror like color which is R-162 G-231 B-255 S-1 M-1 on my last build for example.
3- Download and tear apart some popular users builds. See how they built stuff and the methods used. This is how a lot of ios users get useful parts also.
4- Ask for help, this community is overloaded with brainiacs that are chomping at the bit to show off their supreme talents.
enjoy school! before u know it you will be overworked like the rest of us robots. If only i could go back to high school....i would have quite a bit more fun :-D
There are ways around the " IOS ROADBLOCK "... granted theyre not ideal but they work.
1- if you find a uploaded build that has the color you are looking for download it, remove the cockpit, throw away all the parts and build your own...this will cause it to be a successor but you can use the colors the previous builder edited.
2- Ask someone to edit a color for you. Upload a unlisted, tag the person who is willing to help.
Like i said not ideal but its the only way a ios only user can enjoy cool colors.
I agree.. I think one of the main reasons some of this stuff goes on is because there is a wide age spectrum here...you can quickly discern this after looking through a few posts or comments. It goes both ways.... "some" younger users have their way about them, and "some" elder users have their way.... like any relationship people interpret things differently and butt heads about the dumbest poo....And.....there's also language barrier issues.....people may use a translator app that does a really poor job and may actually come across as inappropriate or aggressive....I forget quite often that we are not all in the US....Just my humble grizzled opinions...
very cool! if you are ok with some constructive criticism the aiming could use some fine tuning and having more shots than 4 would be nice but its still a very nice build, great job
Thats a good idea, I hit a creative wall recently and revisited some of my early builds and it was actually very fun putting newer building techniques to older much simpler builds.
@Delphinos

+5LOL! this stupid game is addictive huh? :-D
+5Youre right spicy, i checked, even the rotators were xml modified. Not really a glitch plane but a cheat plane really. @SpicyLuckster
+4What’s the point of asking about perm bans? What does it actually accomplish?
+4theres a reason it was renamed the FA-117 later...

+3I am pretty sure its THIS ONE@EternalDarkness
+3Im sure you will correct me but i cant remember you mixing the sideways building with the curve building like this this, its really nice!
+3Love the storyline!
