@MrCOPTY Hmm... It would be useful for splitting wings into sections automatically instead of manual wing calculation.
It would also be nice for landing gear/weapon bays, especially on aircraft that use paneling.
@ShinyGemsBro postimages.org
It hasn't had issues up to this point, and I believe temporaryplanetester was able to see them.
It might be a server error with postimages.org, as those have happened before.
@GabrielSatori That's a problem I attempted to fix (and mostly did) while I was designing the landing gear.
Landing should go decently as long as the aircraft is landing at the correct speed (listed above) and the correct rate of descent, and the user isn't trying a Ryanair landing.
Though, you can almost always expect a small bounce upon landing. This is something I hope to learn how to solve in the future (likely with actual suspension).
@F8boa Theoretically yes. With the right speed, timing, and altitude it's likely possible. Removing the vertical stabilizer might help if you intend to yaw the aircraft backwards.
If I understand this correctly, doing that is against the rules.
You have to make some sort of significant modification to a build before publishing a successor version.
Ignoring this rule will result in your post(s) getting taken down, or potentially receiving a strike/ban on your account.
@TASTEinc I can only give smaller bits of helpful tips, but I don't think I can give any revolutionary advice. How well your builds progress in quality ultimately depends on you. Nothing I say is going to revolutionize your builds instantly. It's taken me a year and a half to get to where I am now (in terms of building skills), and I still have a lot to learn.
@TASTEinc Well, I certainly wouldn't call myself qualified to tell someone how good or bad their build is.
I will say that I think you have great potential. If you put yourself out into the community a little more (make yourself a little more known), people will notice your builds more, and you will receive input and help from other users.
In my opinion, the best teacher in SP is your own experience.
If you're passionate about building and are constantly striving to build better, you will eventually achieve your goal.
From what I've seen, your doing pretty good. Just keep experimenting and learning and you will eventually get to expert level building.
@Hiimakeplanes I think it's a matter of making your thumbnails "pop". Typically you don't want your build to blend into the background. You also want to use fonts that compliment the build theme/screenshot (hopefully that makes sense).
I would recommend using Photoshop. Or, if you are unable to afford Photoshop, you can use Pixlr, which is essentially an online photoshop tool.
I use it for my screenshots. Here's an example: https://i.postimg.cc/qMQXvgfB/Nightswift-Thumbnail.png
That just means that a user wants to be tagged on your upcoming post.
For example: if I comment "T" on a teaser, the creator will tag me on the aircraft post with @TheFlightGuySP.
Adding a firingDelay attribute to the rocket pod via the XML editor should allow you to change the firing time.
The value is in seconds (seconds between each rocket firing).
@ColonelCanada They are likely using a fancy text generator. I belive it says at the bottom of the text formatting guide that strikethrough (along with a few other things) does not work on the website.
Problem#1: Flaps/Slats would probably fix that. Symmetric is the general choice for supersonic aircraft but is a bit unstable at high AoA (in my experience). It might also be the position of the CoM.
Problem#2: I would use a less powerful engine, and then just fly to higher altitudes for higher speed (this is more realistic).
Problem#3: Set the part type to Wing-2 in the XML editor.
@MrCOPTY Just be careful not to accidentally send a report. I'm not sure what it would do, but it could lead to trouble.
+1@MrCOPTY View this. Click on the image in the description.
+1@MrCOPTY I noticed that. Happens occasionally. I'm not concerned about it.
+1@MrCOPTY Actually, I've already made plans for a teaser video featuring my upcoming stealth helicopter.
+1Sorry, but I won't have the time.
@alexJgameYTukraine000000 Ціную!
+1Didn't know some of these (removing water, light, yourself, and the sky).
+1Nice find!

@MrCOPTY Thanks!
+1@jamesPLANESii Ahh.
+1Yeah, that's just the lighting of the underwater camera mod. It's rather annoying.

@jamesPLANESii Do the images not appear for you?
+1@ReturnOfJeffChandler Redirect the power supply, plug-in a small cooktop, and you'll have the basis for cooking an exquisite grilled-cheese sandwich!
+1You can't. Only the moderators have that capability.

@Belloaka No problem! The server is generally more populated at night (or morning, depending on your time zone).
+1@Belloaka As of right now there's only one public server that is functional:

.@F8boa Theoretically yes. With the right speed, timing, and altitude it's likely possible. Removing the vertical stabilizer might help if you intend to yaw the aircraft backwards.
+1@IceCraftGaming Thanks! I'm glad you like it!
+1@Red920 In that case, disable collisions of the parts that the probe gets stuck inside of.
+1Hmm... Alright then.
HUZZAH!
+1Either the probe or drogue likely has aircraft collisions disabled.
+1Checking to make sure collisions on both parts are enabled should fix the issue.
Here's a nice way for importing images: https://www.simpleplanes.com/Forums/View/1534176/IA-Image-Importer.

@MrCOPTY Sounds good.
+1@MrCOPTY Who will publish the video?
+1@MrCOPTY I can try. What is it that you need help with?
+1@IceCraftGaming @32 Autothrottle.
+1(I used the flight recorder mod.)
@TheGliderGuy Much appreciated!
+1Very nice!

Looks to me like it needs an artificial stability system.

you should be able to import it to Paint 3D.@MrCOPTY I've been thinking about it. I might post it as a filler post after my Nightswift.
+1@MrCOPTY Yep! It's made out of a few fuselage parts and formation lights.
+1@Coop09814 Yep, that will work. It will also create a lot of noise, so I would recommend using lower volume.
