Looks pretty decent.
I would definitely make the stabilizers thinner and change the shape of the fuselage shells over the wings from Curved to Circular (this has a much sharper looking edges, similar to that of the real Starfighter). I would also do the same for the stabilizers as well.
The wings seem to be about the right thickness, but the stabilizers look really thick compared to the blueprints.
@IzzyIA All players need to have Explosion Sync activated.
Bombs and missiles are the only weapons that work. Guns, cannons, and rockets don't work in MP.
It may also decrease thrust output by a little bit, but that shouldn't be a major issue.
If the rotor spasms a bit on low power then try increasing the mass of the rotor hub.
It might have something to do with wing drag calculation.
You might move the powered rotator on top of an unpowered, free-spinning rotator. This way the rotor assembly doesn't have a solid connection to the fuselage, which should, in theory, prevent weird rotor drag issues from affecting the whole aircraft.
This method will also eliminate rotor torque, so if your helicopter relies on that torque then this may require a rework of a few things.

If it says failed to connect, it's likely a server overload. Give it a bit and it should go back to normal.
Also, the server isn't managed by the mod developers, so you might reconsider your statement there.
Twin J85 Turbojet engines, each with multiple afterburner stages (around seven I think, but I could be wrong).
They are, in fact, a tad bit noisy.
I see them around every now and then.
@ZeroRaven87 They are Wing-2 (all of my modern builds use Wing-2).
The wingflex is algorithm-driven. There was some flutter issue but it was more output oscillation-related than speed-related.
I fixed it by tuning the algorithm and adding damperMultiplier to the rotators.
I used the Inspect console, and I can see that you did, in fact, upload the image, but it isn't showing on our end.
Copy this: (this is the image link that showed up in the Inspect console), and put it in the description.
@Kiwiki That's likely a physics settings issue.
Certain builds (especially builds that rely heavily on a certain physics setting) don't work well outside of their original physics quality.
@DeadlyDialga I think that's just SP.com being a bit slow. Sometimes it takes a bit to register upvotes (it takes also takes awhile to send spotlight notifications, sometimes several minutes).
@OwO Unless you meant having a curved trailing/leading edge.
In that case, I would have to completely redesign the wings, due to the technique I use for fuselage wings (which works very well, but is more time consuming).
@OwO Interesting. It would be a bit awkward with the current wing shape though, and I already have winglets.
Plus, the inverted winglets prevent the ailerons from colliding with the ground.
@ColonelCanada I know of two backup servers (they're listed in my profile), but the last time I checked neither of them worked.
Though, it's been awhile since I last checked so I might need to revisit that.
And of course, modding exists as well.
If a player really wants a new feature added, they could always try to learn modding and do it themselves (easier said than done, but still).
SimplePlanes has its own quality.
It may have it's inconveniences, but in my opinion it simply pushes the player to get creative and find solutions.
Certain things could be improved of course, but I think the original feel should be kept (at least for now).
And yes, a CS-Editor would be fantastic.
Thank you for addressing this.
@Nonamebasicplayer Ah, I think I see what you mean.
If you get the "Multiplayer mod is up-to-date." message when trying to connect, but nothing happens, then your probably experiencing a high-ping issue (which is common with the current server).
In that case, you will just have to wait until the ping goes down enough to connect. This can take a while at times.

I'd be surprised if this doesn't win the challenge. This is an amazing build.
Welcome to the yellow club.
Congrats on getting to gold!

@panmaturi24 No. Local host is used to connect to your own server.

is a newly opened server IP.@IzzyIA It's entirely possible to use small bombs as gun ammo.
Not the most efficient weaponry but it could work.
@Airheaddivision Sure. I'll do what I can anyways.

@Magnavox20MS233S In formation? If so then that's pretty neat.
I only ever see them solo flying.
And generally it's while they're taking off.

If simplistic builds are your thing, go ahead.
Test the waters and see what you like best.

@Airheaddivision That works.
@Mrgoofy It isn't. It's what I use as well.
postimages.org and Discord are the two best working image upload sites for the SP website.

In addition to Kangy's comment, it's the only functioning public server (that we know of).

@SONYPVM9041QM No idea.
@Iliketoflyfastandlow The server you're trying to connect to is likely either full or non-functional.
@RiddenOfPixels What exactly is the issue?
@RiddenOfPixels I'm fairly certain it does.
I believe they deleted their account.

@Nonamebasicplayer That's not an error, that's the mod telling you that you are using the newest version.
Can confirm, unregistered users add up.
