All of the wings - structural, horizontal, vertical, and primary - act the same. So, when I said no vertical stabilizer, I meant that there should be no wing that’s vertical. Take a look at the B2 Spirit to see an example of this.

Take a look at the B2 Spirit to see an example of this. If you can edit this plane to remove the vertical stabilizer, that would be great. Otherwise, I can’t score this.
Yeah, I was starting to get a bit annoyed on here. I had a few planes I was going to release, but it just didn’t seem to be worth it. Maybe just take a break and you’ll feel differently next week...
Part Two Since the French Indochina War, the French have been involved in numerous conflicts. To abide by SimplePlanes’ policy on politics, I won’t be getting any further into this topic. Long story short, these claims have been made by ignorant people or those who want to crack a joke. I’m pretty sure the French taken prisoner after their defence of Dunkirk wouldn’t be finding it too funny.
Part One Well, for the last 1,000-ish years, the English have taken great enjoyment in tormenting the French (see Steven Clarke’s book on the topic). One of these methods of torment includes bringing up one of the styles of bread that has come from France - the baguette 🥖. It is often employed by people who want to make fun of the French and their culture, as a way of saying “ha ha, the only thing interesting about you lot are your long pieces of bread!”
While on the same topic, many like to call the French “surrenders”, in reference to the capitulation of France to Nazi Germany in 1940. Simple-minded “historians” have read about the French surrender and turned it into a form of mockery. They use arguments such as “you couldn’t possibly expect the Maginot Line to hold up against a German invasion!” or “You thought the Ardennes were impenetrable to tanks!? That’s just silly..” or, my personal favorite, “Why couldn’t they just assume the Germans would go through Belgium? They were Nazis, after all.”
On top of those insults, jokes are made about the French Tricolor as well, such as the one that suggests that the only reason there was white on the flag was to give the French a means of surrender. Again, this “observation” has been made time and time again by people who watched one Oversimplified video on YouTube and called themselves master historians.
Lastly, the people who make these “hon hon baguette” surrender jokes have quite conveniently forgotten the 40,000 French soldiers who gave their lives in order to defend their beloved country and allow their fellow countrymen a second chance at driving the Allied boot up Germany’s backside. Outside of the standing French army, these “historians” have also seemingly forgotten the 200,000 active resisters in France to the occupying Germans. These resistance members fought both actively and passively against the Germans - assassinating German sentries, slashing tires, resisting orders, and sabotaging telephone and communication lines. How convenient go forget this.
Moving down the timeline now to 1946, we come across another conflict: The French Indochina War. This was a conflict in modern day Vietnam between the French and Vietnamese population in the form of the Viet Minh. The conflict in Indochina was lost and eventually gave way to the Vietnam War. Since their involvement in Indochina, the French have shied away from conflicts on a large scale. However, that does not mean they are exempt from them either.
Look, this is a cool plane. Good job on that. However, asking for upvotes is very against the rules. If a moderator were to see this post, they might remove it. Just change the title, and people will be more inclined to give an upvote.
@SnoWFLakE0s I’m trying to make the retraction/extension of landing gear to be delayed, so one retracts before the other starts to move. I’ve played around with various inputs, but I’m really just guessing.
@Blue0Bull
Can you make this post a successor to this challenge? https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/bSG0md/WW2-Bomber-Challenge-Open
Sorry to be asking again. I intend to make it a successor from the get-go, but I forgot. If you can’t, I understand.
@50CalChicken on the Steam version of SP, you unlock an achievement for uploading to the site. Presumably, they use both a phone/tablet and a computer, but they had nothing to upload from the computer yet to get the achievement.
Oof. I only got 4
I panicked at first when I saw the wing in back, but this is great!

@BagelPlane works like a charm now. Thanks!
I agree with the description. But that’s just my five cents.
+2It wasn’t the atomic bombs that made japan surrender. It was this.
+5The real question here is why?
yes
Looking good!
@Marcochoy2007 that’s ok.
@AWESOMENESS360 of course. It just can’t be something that you’ve already posted as a published build.
Are those planes made out of tracers? If so, that’s sick!
+1I came here to read about a gas mask and instead spent a few minutes reading two strangers on the internet arguing......
the forums are great.

Rule #2: No trash talking
procedes to trash talk CobraHuey
+2@TheGoldenJetMaker that’s perfectly understandable, and this is well deserving of them.

+4@KnightOfRen thank you!
GG, everybody

This is really cool! I like the VTOL for the gas pedal.
0.5 points would be cool for comments. Of course, they couldn’t be displayed as a decimal, but they could be shown when two upvotes are given.
@WarHawk95 @WarshipDude
As of now, the gun is just a placeholder. It will be replaced with a semi functional sight.
@TheSavageManZ brilliant, thanks!
@TheSavageManZ no, but my laptop always gives me an error message when I try to use them.
I hate to be that guy, but could somebody post this without the mods?
Great ship, btw!
@SnoWFLakE0s thanks, it worked!
4nd
@SnoWFLakE0s ok.
I don’t have any gear doors, but a 1 second delay on both ends would be great.
The Spitfire tends to get all of the fame and glory, but I’ve always been a fan of the Boulton Paul Defiant.

@MAHADI thanks!
I would like some T with my biscuits.
Well, that was unexpected
I see what you did there
@Blue0Bull thanks!
@KnightOfRen ok, still waiting on that.
How about a F4F as a counterpart to the Zero?
+1@Blue0Bull

This is really great!
@FLOWRIDER0 ah ok
I am speed
+3@FLOWRIDER0 I’m not quite sure what you mean by that. Thanks for the spotlight!
@AWESOMENESS360 thank you! I really appreciate it.
@Locurapuntocom wow, I wish I could say I planned that out. Cool coincidence!
