Hey @SPairforce, would be okay if I took this and reuploaded it to make it a bit more VR friendly? I liked it in VR but there were a few things I noticed that made it difficult to use.
@SPAircraftOfficial I now realize I should just do that. However, for existing crafts and just for ease of building, I feel it should just be a default property.
I have SR2, and I know from experience that adding space would destroy your RAM and murder your FPS. While it definitely would be cool, I think we should focus on more land first.
I had to add airbrakes for landing, but now I’m able to land it on the Beast if I stall it just above the deck. Then again, that trick is easier to pull off in VR.
This is aerial sophistication unlike anything we’ve ever seen. With this, Ukraine could bring the world to its knees. Once they solve the can’t-take-off-of-land problem, that is.
Wow. Some of the best ever. And you can use them with missiles of the same type if you use the overload mod, add a row, call it ‘name’, and name the weapon that way. It works.

(VR player here) This is really good, but in the future please note that sidesticks/sticks with no height are extremely difficult to fly with in VR.

I first found this on VR and it’s awesome. It’s like a Huey but better, and it’s great for convoy assault and doing landing drills.

I wonder how this would work if it was upscaled to have a large flight deck and a hold for say, ~150 soldiers.
@norcourt Sadly, I wasn’t able to fix the problems with the landing gear and the torque on takeoff is not the best. But thank you for trying it.
