@StarkIndustries No timetables. This isn't like walking through a forest on a trail, this is like walking through a forest while cutting down shrubs to make a trail. Hellfire and I are charging headlong into uncharted territory here, especially now since we are further along than the developers were with their multiplayer experiments. No timetable can account for the unknown, so we do not have one. As for the offer of help, thanks but no thanks. We aren't going open source, and we aren't too keen on bringing in people we don't even know and that are in vastly different time zones.

@JovianPat The project was never completely inactive over those 4 months, but it was all just brainstorming how to get a working damage sync system in, or trying to fix the flaws in the old one. Two days ago, one of my brainstorms produced an idea we both thought might work, so we tried it and, well, it worked! Also, the multiplayer is worldwide.
@TomTheBuilder Right now there are no plans for mobile, but an android port isnt completely out of the question.

@BaconEggs Right now we are focused on getting damage sync perfected, along with sync for things like rotators, moving parts, swept wings, etc, which we also have working. These are the last big things that are needed for a beta that can be opened to the public, so the fact that they are both moving so fast means we are in a super-good position right now!
No, but we are working on it right now(as I type this)! We are rebuilding damage sync from the ground up to include things such as missiles and moving parts, and we are hopeful this will work far better than what we had before.
@TheBroadside I wish I did. Development has been so painfully slow, due to life, work, and my own general laziness. Also problems that have taken very long to solve. But unfortunately, I do not.
My wishlist is that they 1: return the water to the way it used to be(something that would actually tear your plane apart if you dove nose-first into it), 2: introduced ground effect, 3: introduced supersonic drag physics, 4: gave us fuselage air intake segments, 5: gave us another nozzle for the VTOL engines that looks more like a conventional engine nozzle, 6: underwater stuff, 7: 3d wings
@dogspit There are unexplanable positional inaccuracies with our current damage sync system, among other problems. Debris is not where it should be, script is throwing errors for lines that should work perfectly, and sometimes it just gives up and stops working at all. The only theory we have is that we resurrected the kraken by mistake somewhere, and we can't fix it if thats the case. It's gotten to the point where we are about to take a flamethrower to our damage sync system, burn it to the ground, and start over in the hopes of it working this time.
@SimpleTechAndResearch Yep, I get at least several notifications a day from people uploading copies of this; it used to be alot worse, but they added more stock planes for noobs to mangle.
@metalsaurus It means if I catch you using stock weapons in a simplewarships fight in multiplayer, you are going to get kicked out and very likely banned from that server.
@JMicah4 It does that because it uses an outdated method of mapmaking that used persistent objects from the first version of the game that supported mods. If I updated it, it wouldn't do that anymore.
Cut out any and ALL mentions of the unlocks adding perks to your account, and you will have my support. Added perks to accounts shouldn't be something you can unlock by playing through a "campaign," because what if you just want to be a sandbox player? I agree that maybe there needs to be a system where you have to have more time ingame in order to have full use of your account(would weed out nubs) but tying it to a campaign is a no-go. Also, don't mess with the upvote cooldown; its there for a reason.

I think this doesn't fit in the Beta section...... its for beta versions of the game, not projects.

@metalsaurus Banned means BANNED. The stock bombs and missiles will not be allowed in SW fights.
