flaps are not modelled I don't think, so it just acts as a pitching device.
My trick is to hide wings inside the plane that move attached to pistons when flying
please please to dear god for your next creation, add in-game screenshots for thumbnails. If you do it right, the number of people that see it will skyrocket.
well
f1 car has about 1 million parts.
to model an f1 car exterior is about 150,000 parts.
to model interior is about 500,000 parts (modelling everything)
to program an f1 car is somewhere around 6 million lines of code - approaching 20 million and tending to impossibility with simpleplanes. Done multiple times.
but its almost guaranteed to work.
arduous yes, but simple no
To add on to your poll, it might be a fun idea to do backgroundless screenshots with a slogan. For example, Matt lowne used to have a cool graphic with "in thrust we trust" written below it.
Something like an exploding aircraft with "t'is but a scratch" might be a fun one, for example? And while it's clearly from SimplePlanes given the image, its not immediately obvious so I would be far more comfortable wearing it in public
@SimpleUser1938 put simply, I don't think you meet the system requirements.
Ideally you would be running at least a Core 2 Duo L7100 or amd a4-9120 or better, with integrated graphics. Most of the APUs built after about 2012 I think use the computer's RAM for their vram.
Personally, I would recommend getting a pc with at least a Ryzen 3 2200g or i3 7100, and about 8gb ram for a better experience. If you can get your hands on a pc with a Ryzen 5 5600g or similar you will have far better performance I think.
.
Obviously it's impossible to rule out a bugged SimplePlanes, so try first disabling mods, and if that doesn't work - if you got it through steam I would recommend backing up planes and mods and reinstalling the game. If THAT doesn't work, the above hardware statement is true.
@PakPuma75 I don't think so, it was working a couple of hours ago (admittedly before the new panel was added, but in my testing that doesnt seem to be the issue)
@PakPuma75 another thing to add, looking at my posts you can see a HUGE difference in quality between the creations I made within the same month and the ones I spent longer over, so just keep at them until you are satisfied with them
@AWESOMENESS360 thanks xD, my mother of all people stumbled across this and came to me literally screaming like "THEY USED YOUR THING THEY USED YOUR THING OHMYGODIMSOPROUD" and I think I almost cried lmao
i cant describe it, but the collisions somehow line up with the video like they trigger an old memory and tbf I think it only adds to the video xD
@AvalonIndustries thanks very much
@Toddy1031 thank you :')
@PapaKernels i like it cuz its just happy :D
+1@Juno tag for you
@Juno it is here
+1@InsertNameHere01 f1 fan?
+1@Bryan5
+2@X99STRIKER
@BeastHunter

ok this unironically looks sick T PLS
@ollielebananiaCFSP I meant part efficiency I was tired lmao
@MintLynx thank you very much!
ah yes the glowboat
planning on making my own sub, ill probably dissect this to see how it works, cuz i feel like this is a brilliant model on how sp subs should be
NOOO mr part count went over 1000 parts :'(
/s your builds are great and this is one of my favourite ww2 aircraft perfectly executed
:)
@BoganBoganTheKid gonna be honest tagging jundroo won't do anything, especially given EVERYONE has suggested this at some point.
There have to be reasons they havent been implemented yet.

Congratioanlansione bacon!
dont. hold. yourself. to. a. schedule.
also dont get arrested, that helps
they really need to add an option to remove this snapping effect. As long as its a valid place, please let us put it there
+7my god this is epic

+2@jamesPLANESii yes, and even with panelling the exterior and interior combined is only about 200k triangles.
+1well

@IndonesianFisherman nothing. Exactly the same number of parts
@Huax aight thank you
@Huax oh brilliant, thank you

@PakPuma75 I am going to do so
@rexzion

he's beginning to believe
also apologies on my part for the surface fighting, this thing was made LONG before i think even glass was added
do you know your CPU and GPU? its possible that you don't meet the minimum requirements - specifically GPU and RAM
post as you see fit.
Don't give yourself schedules in terms of posting, it only adds pressure.

+1if you are ending up on the homepage, its probably been deleted unfortunately
+2@3 when you say scaling radius causes issues - does that apply if the entire thing is scaled linearly, E.G: a size of 0.2, 0.2, 0.2
@bencraft9102 yes it is, but it would require a custom camera setup
@BBCP117 oh lmao
I love the nose it looks so cool
+1Are those custom inputs...? That looks amazing
+5@BBCP117 you can keep the old SimplePlanes - just by using the basic parts.
I might still use those to build cockpits for the sake of realistic-ness but build a vr version...
The game may not be simple anymore but you can keep it that way
+2Hehehe just a few changes
OH WAIT VARIABLES I SUGGESTED THAT :DDD
Or something like it anyway
Beans
well someone has a computer i want
@RC1138Boss i know. It means they won
+3it looks like its only done from camera perspectives, so unless you make a walking mech, probably not.
+1good luck and godspeed sir
+1WHAT
+1I... This is epic
