  • Experimental Challenge [Closed] 2.7 years ago

    I just remembered I didn’t finish my LDA-01, but that will be super easy to make VR compatible given it has a total of like 4 gauges in the cockpit and a super basic stick and rudder pedals. Idk if it’s considered experimental but it was a prototype and it never moved beyond that

  • WIP CF-104 Landing Test 2.7 years ago

    @DeezDucks when i was building mine I had ChiChi help me with it, I got to a point where it’s nearly impossible to land without a joystick, keyboard couldn’t give me fine enough inputs. Did you do something to replicate the BCL system? I put little engines in the flaps to provide the extra lift given by the BCL

  • WIP CF-104 Landing Test 2.7 years ago

    @DeezDucks Can confirm, there's a reason the Germans called it the Widowmaker

    In all seriousness I’m a) too busy and b) too controversial for the job. I do feel like the best moderator would someone who doesn’t want it. People who don’t want power rarely abuse it

  • Apache Showcase 2.7 years ago

    @2Papi2Chulo if you use some sort of sum equation you could, but imo I would use a hidden tail rotator and tie it to the rpm of that

  • FLAGS 2.7 years ago

    @Deandash cringe -10000000 FICO score

  • Apache Showcase 2.7 years ago

    @2Papi2Chulo maybe use rotators and just hide a part to counter the torque

  • Apache Showcase 2.7 years ago

    The rotor speed looks kind of slow I wonder if you could increase it, at least on the tail rotor?

    @realSavageMan kids get shipped to forced labor camps for being out. Maybe it’s time we don’t deem things out of people’s control inappropriate, I’d argue German aircraft with swastikas are significantly more problematic, but they’re just there for historical reasons

  • Prideflag 2.7 years ago

    Don’t forget you can block and delete hate comments. It’ll keep the comments open for good people while keeping negativity off your post. I’d suggest it so the mods don’t get annoyed with it but honestly if it gets reported enough I think it’ll happen anyways. But at least you can prolong it

  • Not secure simpleplanes??? 2.7 years ago

    That’s how the internet works. If it doesn’t say secure it means your connection isn’t secure. But it basically doesn’t open you up to any sort of malware or hacking unless someone else is using your network and wants to take data from your open browser. I guess logging in encrypts it or something because it’ll say secure when you’re logged in. Idk I’m not the cybersecurity expert
