Excellent job. Only thing I would say is there seems to be almost too much enteria on the blades- kind of make autos a bit too easy! lol but seriously thank you for making a machine that actually lets you auto and gives you feedback on the rotor RPMs. There's no overspeed light but the game does that already so that makes sense. Also not sure what the LandingGear Down/up is actually doing?
10 outta 10. Will play with it more-- and great job on the design.
(For context; I fly the H130-a similar aircraft- irl.)
Needs more yaw control- feels like the tail doesn't do anything. Also if the collective was mapped to vtol instead of trim controls it would be easier. Otherwise not bad.
Caught my eye right away- nice to see a nice sleek fighter with some damn wingspan for once. Simple geometry but looks modern. Lots of lift and it flies really well. It's a pilot's machine. I just wish it had flaps to play with.
Flies quite well. Looks great. Even autorotates well (although there isn't enough lift to really cushion the landing without throttle) which is nice. Well done!
There's a problem: Once you have both engines active you can't turn off the horizontal engines in-flight. You need to have them activated (2) and then cut the throttle. But problem is, that will but the lift engines too. Needs to be fixed for vtol landings unless I'm missing something.
Commercial 206 pilot here. I really like this one. I've played around with most if not all the highly rated jetbox builds on here and this is probably my favorite.
Every once in a while I'll get a wild yawing action like one engine is loosing power.
Oddly high stall speed or am I using it incorrectly? Makes horizonal landing (with partial engine angle) difficult.
Apart from all that, very nice. I always like to add a good tilt rotor to the library.
I hope you keep working on it. Needs gear and flaps/slats. The "aferburner" from the show. Also this version doesn't like to float. This is one of my fav aircraft so I'm really hoping for a refined one!
RadarJamJar's 206 flies better but this body is well made. As a commercial jetbox/longdog capt. I appreciate any time someone puts some elbow grease into one of these.
I've had fund playing around with it-- I hope you keep working on it, or make a longranger next.
Overall a nice craft, but I really don't like how much tail I need to get the thing the turn. At 100mph banking the aircraft should cause a change in heading, not a slip. Maybe add some more drag to the stabilizer.
The aircraft doesn't want to turn when you bank left or right- it just starts to slide (slip or skid) even at high speed. Even with the use of yaw it's still hard to tell if you're flying in lateral trim.
The tail needs more drag. The aircraft doesn't want to turn when tilted at cruise- it just slips/skids making it very difficult to stay in trim flight.
Awesome. The only issue I can find is the gyro is needed in vtol mode but doesn't allow for much manoeuvring requiring you to use rudder to turn on the approach. If you could make it stable without the gyro it would be pretty much perfect.
Rudder is reversed and full flaps make in impossible to maintain altitude- they seem to the have the opposite of the desired effect. Otherwise well done.
I always appreciate it when flaps aren't forgotten. Please reverse the yaw.
And if there's anything you can do to stop me spinning out on touchdown besides making me a better pilot that would be great.
The flaps seem to have the opposite of the desired effect- they make it so you need to to pull up harder to maintain altitude- they provide less left. I find I need to land with a high power setting and a lot of speed which risks spinning out.
Also the nose gear is lower than the rest so on the takeoff roll it tend to lift off back wheels first and on landing you have to flare to avoid landing nose gear first... although landing nose gear first seems to also be the most stable, oddly.
Also, having the spoilers mapped to up vtol means you can't active them on landing without pulling the flaps up. Ideally you'd be able to fully engage both to help with braking.

+1The internal engine probably doesn't help with the self destruct problem lol. Fun to fly!

+2Works really well. Def one of the better ornis on here. Great job.
+1Flies quite well. Looks great. Even autorotates well (although there isn't enough lift to really cushion the landing without throttle) which is nice. Well done!

+1I love this ship- all it needs is trim and flaps (for fun.)
+1Every once in a while it seems to get hung up almost like I've hit an invisible rock? Still fun and great looking ship though.
I wish someone would make this.
Very nice aesthetics. Insufficient control authority for pitch. Increase attitude control. Also flaps would be nice. Otherwise I like it!
+1I'd love a parking break for this

Looks great. Takes a while to learn to fly well. I like it!
This is awesome. Not many ships on here that would actually let you autorotate.

Fun and interesting challenge to land. Or is there a vtol system I'm missing? (Not sarcasm- I like it.)
Collective control from jump takeoffs and cushioned vertical landings would be nice. Otherwise amazing job.
+1@TheIdleNaut I'm in no position to give someone of you talent advice. All I will say is I hope you release the update.... and great job btw.
This one is a lot of fun to play with. Will be using it a lot. Thanks and awesome job.
+1I like how she flies but I wish it was faster!

Having fun with this one- gj

Add some aerodynamic drag to the tail.
Otherwise, pretty good.

Yaw control is reversed. Otherwise pretty cool
Awesome- love it.
The tail wheel steering is reversed.

+1Pretty cool but the right side flap is reversed and there's no steering in the nose wheel.
+1I always appreciate it when flaps aren't forgotten. Please reverse the yaw.

I think a few tweaks and it could be really good.
Please give slat control. I love it otherwise.
Needs tail wheel control and flaps on the vtol control so we can use trim. Then it would be damn near perfect.
+1Rudder is reversed. No nose wheel control.
This is a pretty cool design!
Why are the rudder controls reversed?
Very interesting and well made. Please provide more instructions for flights
Why are the yaw controls reversed?
Difficult to find a power setting to hover
I like the flight characteristics on this one.
Fine job sir
You need to re-calibrate the attitude indicator. It's set to appear level when the craft is nose-up (sitting on the tail) on the tarmac.
No steering on front wheel?
pitches down with thrust. Makes landing a bit awkward. Otherwise good.
