Given enough punishment, if you could make this thing out of meat, I'm pretty sure all top CEO's with proper CEO mindset augmentations would drive this vehicle.
@L1nus I picked apart your plane and copied/modified some inputs like door retractions and Slat movement based on AoA and such. Just thought I should mention your build.
It looks functional! I was able to add an engine to the middle of the aircraft and it flew just fine. I ended up moving the Wing Landing Gear further inward/forward. It's best to have the Rear Gear just slightly behind the Center of Mass (CoM) so the aircraft has a balance point to pivot off the runway. You might want to extend the nose gear too. As it rests now, the nose sags into the ground which doesn't help with lift. You may also want to decrease the size of the ailerons as they give it a very sensitive roll rate. So long as (CoM) is in front of (CoL) and (CoT) is relatively pointing through (CoM) and (CoL), You should be golden!
@DRpotato Thats a good idea! Though with it also sharing similarities to the Viper, I wanted to give it another name for snakes since it already has the "29" in the name.
@TRD6932 How does one go about putting in a custom thumbnail? I've been out of the loop for a while. As for the description, it just feels like homework. I have fun building planes and ultimately it is just a video game so whatever I put down is fiction anyway. Have fun with it! Maybe it's a craft from an alternate universe where the US and Russia are allies. Maybe it's a design based on Intel retrieved by spies. Or maybe, just maybe, it's actually a car and the fact that it flies is purely accidental.
Holy cow does this thing have firepower! Like a mini AC-130. One thing I'd recommend is putting the rear landing gears further forward somewhere a few feet behind the Center of Mass to allow the plane to pitch up on takeoff. I also noticed a random floating throttle part way down to the left. I must say it is satisfying carpet bombing the ground convoys. Keep it up!
Whoah! How did you get the cockpit view camera to move left and right as if looking over your shoulder? I think by default it just pivots in a fixed point. By the way, were you inspired by the DCS MiG-19?
I'm really liking the Helicopter rotor blades. Will you be adding an invert option like the prop blades do so we can make counter rotating helos? I also really like the customizable jet engines from SR2. Any chance that will make its way into SP?
@Shanethepain1 I could give that a try. You'd have to make sure that the parts connect properly so the cylinder moves. You could probably scale the rockets up in weird ways so they look like pistol rounds.
@Brian777 I think I put a near endless fuel supply in there so I guess that makes sense. what confuses me is that the CoM is quite a bit further forward which normally would make pitch speed decrease. By the way, did you use my SU-25's rocket pods on your G10-X?
Nice. I'm always a sucker for F-5s. I've found that in SimplePlanes, to increase the pitch speed, you need to increase the ammount of control surface that moves and go a bit faster. The real F-5 and T-38 has full moving elevator surfaces so instead of a flappy bit on the back bending up and down, the whole surface pivots up and down. Try using rotators and setting the "Range of Motion" to 10 or 15 and the "Speed" to 40% or 50%. It also helps to shorten the gap between the "Red" CoM and the "Blue" CoL.
@Treadmill103 thanks I started with the weapon bay and nose but lost momentum as the challenge due date came up. I might redo it with more detail in the future. Pro tip: customizable intakes make great landing gear bays!

Those intakes look beautiful!!! Nice Job!

@Dest20345 They represent the only states that matter
Just a note:
Make sure to Clear Hidden Parts to view the craft in the Editor.

@BangRou @L1nus @Kerbango
I know you didn't know, but your builds helped a lot on this aircraft.
Thank you!
@IAmMeObviously come on man. have some respect. It's obviously the F-22 Braptor
Hey did this guy steal your plane?

I L o v e how pointy and sleek this fighter is! Though it's a bit hard to roll when pulling full aft on the stick.

Is there any way to make the cockpit capsule into a gimbal that self levels during pitch/yaw/roll motions? That would be cool to see.
+5@DRpotato Thats a good idea! Though with it also sharing similarities to the Viper, I wanted to give it another name for snakes since it already has the "29" in the name.
Have you played around with slicing hollow fuselage blocks? they work wonders!
+1Whoah is there a full Fly-by-Wire built into this plane?
I like the way the missiles deploy when the bay opens. Have you played around with the "Advanced Fill" options for Hollow Fuselage Block?
What a wonderful idea! A turret, built around an aircraft, built around a gun!
+3Awww heck yeah this ones sweet!
Sweet Chopper!
this looks familiar
whaouah!

+1@kakaha Used to vape! So glad I quit 3 years ago.
@TRD6932 Thanks! I started the plane with the engine and wanted to replicate an F-16 style intake/landing gear shape
+1@X99STRIKER on my previous aircraft's comments:

+1@Random04 @X99STRIKER I hear you like engine intakes.
+1Holy Cow! 50G Sustained turn!?! Nice job!
+1Is this for a SimplePlanes Multiplayer server or something?
@Maroon after much trial and error, I figured out what that code was from the gif above.
HEADING{repeat(Heading,360);0.0}
You can delete the ".0" if you want whole number heading
+2Nice! Reminds me of the YF-17
I had fun flying this around. It reminds me of the flying craft from "Castle in the Sky" or something.
Oh make a hexiplane! like a biplane but six levels of wings.
I made my setup a while ago. Its changed now but for a few years it was pretty awful

Nice. What did you do to change the pitch speed? I see the CoM was moved forward more and it feels like more thrust.

Remember the CoL should always be BEHIND the CoM
Oof! I'm a real sucker for F-5s too
I'm a real sucker for all things Halo. Nice job on this one!
Reminds me of some RC "Jets" I like it.
Have you seen the bicycle powered strandbeest?
@Treadmill103 thanks I started with the weapon bay and nose but lost momentum as the challenge due date came up. I might redo it with more detail in the future. Pro tip: customizable intakes make great landing gear bays!
Nice! I need to fit these to my Mirage 2000.
+3I really like that military looking one with the pitot tube.
+1@Brian777 Nice! Did you stick my Nato Mavericks on a Soviet jet?
I can help out with the CoM and flaps.
+1Nice! What editor background is that?
