Nice. I'm always a sucker for F-5s. I've found that in SimplePlanes, to increase the pitch speed, you need to increase the ammount of control surface that moves and go a bit faster. The real F-5 and T-38 has full moving elevator surfaces so instead of a flappy bit on the back bending up and down, the whole surface pivots up and down. Try using rotators and setting the "Range of Motion" to 10 or 15 and the "Speed" to 40% or 50%. It also helps to shorten the gap between the "Red" CoM and the "Blue" CoL.
@Treadmill103 thanks I started with the weapon bay and nose but lost momentum as the challenge due date came up. I might redo it with more detail in the future. Pro tip: customizable intakes make great landing gear bays!
@ChiChiWerx Thanks for the input. I usually disable mass/drag on blocks that are off-center or cosmetic. With the trim/flaps, I set them to the same axis mostly because I haven't yet mastered the art of custom rotator based flaps yet. They kind of work but setting the elevator trim with it brings the aircraft airborne faster. At the end of the day, it's just simpleplanes. It works, and it's fun. Someday I hope to build a realistic airliner or something with complex multi-part flaps. When it comes to the fuel, I just wanted to give it a nice bit so I can fly for extended periods of time on Multiplayer. I'm still working my way to building better planes but I'm glad you enjoyed this one!
@Texasfam04 Thanks! If Landing Gear and maybe weapon bay housing is what you're looking for, you'll be in for a treat. I'm working on a little something and it should be out by the end of the month or early December.
I might be able to help with the suspension. I suck at building land vehicle bodys but I'm decent at making car chassis and suspension bits. I'll tag you in my pickup truck chassis concept. Maybe you can turn it into a full vehicle. By the way, is this a Nissan?
@metallicplanes It's pretty helpful when you're trying to make a plane that will randomly spawn in to your game. Fun Tip: For planes to spawn in the game, they need at least one Prop or Jet engine, No more than Seven wings parts and no more than 100 parts total.
Looks good! And only 144 parts thats a steal :) Fun Tip: You can attach wing guns to the main wings then nudge them into place so you don't have to add a wing block right by the guns.
@otayahiromo8211 I use the Colour Editor mod from the Simpleplanes Mod page. all you do is click download and when you start the game next, you'll find it in the Mod section. I don't think it works if you download through the steam "Shift+Tab" menu though. @TheHawk119 In the fix version I made, I did the opposite to solve that issue by raising the CoM up to be level with the engine. I also angled the engine downward to line up with the CoM more. It works but it looks weird when you roll.
@otayahiromo8211 I already fixed the landing gear. I'm trying to work on the engine so it doesn't constantly push the plane nose down. are you alright with that?
@Gravity The description says anywhere between 1950-2020. Some countries still use airframes derived from the 50's so I guess that could mean they're modern.
@ChiChiWerx Thanks! @danman12 I have yet to build the A-10 but I have built a fictional futuristic mix of the A-10 and that Textron Scorpion CAS plane. Should I post it?
@suzutuki65 This is beautiful and I'm able to run it! Does the engine nozzle actually retract in like that in the real F-14? Also that nose gear gimic is called a launchbar and hooks onto the carrier to pull it off the deck during takeoff In case you didn't know.
Wow that's some powerful yaw control. I wonder what it would do to the pilot. Normally it's + and - Gs with that fast side to side movement would it black out half of the brain?
-P.S. I'm working an a fictional plane and after making the LERX's it reminded me of this one (Though it has much more F-15 style intakes).
Nice! I'll have to test it out. I have a "MK2" in my sub-assemblies with an extra Boom 50 in the nose for more punch. It's not quite accurate to the real thing but it's fun to use.
Nice. What did you do to change the pitch speed? I see the CoM was moved forward more and it feels like more thrust.

Remember the CoL should always be BEHIND the CoM
Oof! I'm a real sucker for F-5s too
I'm a real sucker for all things Halo. Nice job on this one!
Reminds me of some RC "Jets" I like it.
Have you seen the bicycle powered strandbeest?
@Treadmill103 thanks I started with the weapon bay and nose but lost momentum as the challenge due date came up. I might redo it with more detail in the future. Pro tip: customizable intakes make great landing gear bays!
@Brian777 Nice! Did you stick my Nato Mavericks on a Soviet jet?
Nice! What editor background is that?

@Texasfam04 Sure! you can tag me in an unlisted upload if you like. I'll probably have time to help tomorrow.

@BaconRoll Sorry for the lack of correct colors. I already had most of it built with this color scheme so it just fit the aircraft best.
Is this made of Flite Test's special foamboard with the water resistant brown paper?
@KerbalVehiclesCompany Here's a link to my concept truck:

@RodWan Oh somehow I completey missed that link and mention. Sorry about that ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@RodWan Did you make that AGM-65 Maverick?
@Trainzo Well you put a lot of hard work into that cockpit. It looks amazing!
@metallicplanes The limit might be 150. You might be able to get away with gliders by putting fuel and an engine but setting the thrust to 0.

@SkrillerPlays have the winners been announced yet?
@otayahiromo8211 I already fixed the landing gear. I'm trying to work on the engine so it doesn't constantly push the plane nose down. are you alright with that?
@otayahiromo8211 I can help you with the landing gears if you like.
Nice! It reminds me of Boeing concepts and carrier drones. You better add a pretty description before the deadline though.
@Gravity The description says anywhere between 1950-2020. Some countries still use airframes derived from the 50's so I guess that could mean they're modern.
@whereby Which weapon were you referring to?
@metallicplanes Make sure you tag me, I'd like to see what you build with them.
@Liamwellman123 I mean... You're not wrong ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
T A K E T H I S D O W N B E F O R E I T E L L Y O U R M O M O N Y O U
@Storm41 Is this the SU-25 you were talking about on the other post?
@Mustang51 I made a new Frogfoot. It's not as mobile friendly though.
@ChiChiWerx Thanks! @danman12 I have yet to build the A-10 but I have built a fictional futuristic mix of the A-10 and that Textron Scorpion CAS plane. Should I post it?
Nice! It looks like a mix between a Falcon, Hornet, and a little bit of a Tomcat.
@Minecraftpoweer Nice!
Reminds me of a weird crossbreed between a Panavia Tornado, a Frogfoot, and a few other planes all mixed together. I like it!
Well.. I can't say it didn't work. Everything went black and I nearly had to restart the game, but it worked.
@FNaFLover17 If you do make a new account, you can put a link in your Bio to your old account so all isn't lost.

@smaug Thanks! it took a while to make.
@mikoyanster Thanks. This is the plane I've been building that reminded me of your Superlevel plane.
@Marine Are you getting an issue with screenshots not loading on steam as well?
@mikoyanster I think I'm near completion on my plane. Want me to post it as unlisted and tag you in it? It'd be nice to get feedback.

@RodWan I added the extra bomb just for fun as it creates a larger area of damage for taking out convoys (Or the USS Beast in one go).

Lookin' good!
What would happen if you aim the gun sideways and fire?
