@Externaldarkness try changing speed and length of pistons. And as for teeth, it may be because of round fuselage blocks used as gear's core - they appear round but in fact they're not, and will interfere with each other. Try using long and thin parts in shape of a cross (see the big gear that stands after the engine, second from crankshaft itself in my design).
Oh, and try changing the dead weight of gear parts, it may also help in some cases.
@Externaldarkness please address these to developers of the game. There's nothing I can do with game's mechanics. Also the latter two never happened to me.
@Externaldarkness The boat is something I was thinking about too :). As for collab I don't think it's a good idea. I am too unreliable in terms of free time and will likely just slow you down, sorry. But if you have some engineering problem you can't solve I'd be glad to think about it too :).
@Externaldarkness yeah, it took a while to figure out how to make it work properly and I had to increase the weight of the engine significantly, but overall I'm happy with the result. I wish I could make it rotate faster though. If you're interested you can check out my Strandbeest for another piston engine with synchronizer.
@COREdevelopment it's just Galaxy S4. Rooted and tweaked for performance and battery life but nothing really special. Graphics and physics set to Low though so serious testing of creations like this I do on my laptop.
@taze95 Thank you! I see you attempted to make a gearbox too. I plan to make a post with all the gears I used for this build (only gears). Let me know if you are interested :)
Hey! It seems like necroposting but it could work if you used two pistons next to each other, one extended and one contracted. It will appear like a single piston extended halfway. You can put contracted one to the activation group, contract the extended one and then activate the contracted one, and they will (well I hope so) function simultaneously from now on.
@joyridin20 I will be able to upload a single module tomorrow, but it is pretty useless because it falls shortly after startup and I haven't figured out why yet.
@Visify no, not even close :). I just very liked this thing when I saw it on youtube.
That's awesome
@rubbishcraft Thanks!
Incredibly cool. Lacks accuracy though :)

@zap210 you're welcome and thank you too!
Interesting concept. You have my upvote
Wow! You're my idol
Cool!

:D
@WalrusAircraft Thank you! :)
@Propkill117 it's not as laggy as you could think :)
@teammlg Thanks! I'm thinking of adding a solid body (along with some other things) in the version 2.
Thanks @Stickman! And hey, you have nice and interesting builds! The planes I made are much more boring (so I quit making them :).
Unk@Unknown1 @RusTanker Thank you!
@emptybox @Visify Thank you! :)
@Smasher see my new Gears post, there's a wheel, you can use that
Enjoy :)
@MaximusTheMinimus @FasterThanLight Thank you very much!

Thank you for the mod! It makes wildest dreams come true :)
Cool! One of my favorite warbirds
@reCarn of course my method is just a poor workaround. Let's just hope they will add the extension option in next release.

@zackattack316 @Avro683Lancaster thanks! :)
@MrMecha thanks a lot! :)
@TheLatentImage thanks! :)
@TheLatentImage Thank you!
@Ryancool just fine tuner. Also I'm on Android so I may be not much help
@PyroManiac @picy Thank you! :)
@jtr2006 try to make some good models that people will like
Cool!
Holy crap it's so cool!
@RPGtank511 I totally agree with you, it's far from perfect.
@Birdman9301 You're welcome, really cool thing
@Tomaslion Thanks!
