Three little fixes and this plane is really quite nice although I'm not sure I would bomb her up. 1) Put a 20gallon tank just under the nose wheel, stops her tipping over with the wings folded back, also helps her fly level. 2) Invert the wing rotators pulling back to swing forwards was counter intuitive and resulted in catastrophic failure first time up. 3) Invert the pitch controls.
Here's an idea build an aeroplane or helicopter, if it flys well post it up, if it doesn't try and make it better? After all its not called simple planes for nothing

You didn't make clear what you wanted fixed but the successor now flies, takes off far easier, opens the cargo door and you can shake all the passengers out of the back.
@Hypnoticchicken you don't by any chance have a video of this wing flexing issue that you are the first to mention? Would be most helpful to see as its 99% structural wings so finding anything flimsy would help. I'm more than happy to add more fuel in the form of drop tanks on a subsequent versions. Five bladed props aren't exactly uncommon, you would have found a mkXIV Spitfire for example wearing a five bladed rotor prop in early 1943. As for the cockpit perhaps your right, I will have a look at the aesthetics of moving it back to a mix wing mount in a later variant. You see I asked for feedback and listen.....
@JacobHardy64 @KingDeadshot thanks guys, felt a bit of cop out just reposting something I previously posted but I guess if it help it gain exposure then it's not so terrible.
Needs lots of work to make better, floppy wings, low fuel, lack of roll, wheels that are too far away from COG to allow lift off, no AOA to aid the wings, wings that aren't producing enough lift..... Still an interesting concept so thanks for sharing.
@Authros I'm pretty sure the Prop from this aircraft found its way onto my latest plane, would just like to thank you for your contributions to the community:

@WalrusAircraft I'm 70% sure this is where the gear came from (and your other landing gear makes for the folding wings) in Vanessa so I would like to say thanks yet again for your contributions to this community and invite you to come and have a fly of something that couldn't have happened without you:
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/qFR7ru/Vintage-Naval-Strike-Aircraft-v1-1
@Viper28 I am about 70% sure that the gear sets came from @WalrusAircraft and it's a mix and match of his tricycle and taildrager landing gear. I flipped and rotated the gear, uncliped the wheels and spread the struts out to become wings again.
@Viper28 noticed you made a navalised version of the base variant of this and thought you should perhaps look at my folding wing strike aircraft (Vanessa) that I uploaded earlier, May well be something you could incorporate into a future build?
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/qFR7ru/Vintage-Naval-Strike-Aircraft-v1-1
@StealthBomber I'm pretty sure I stole some of your modded structural wings to build Vanessa if you could go and take a look, also gives an idea as to what you can do with your unlinked rotators with wings

@JacobHardy64 thing is she's nose light without the weapons fit but I may play with it to see if I can sort a better weapons loaded balance. Again thanks for your suggestions.
As with many of these things an upgraded version of my plane is now available, following others suggestions I have improved the initial design;
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/qFR7ru/Vintage-Naval-Strike-Aircraft-v1-1
I would welcome any comments that you would like to make about it, and following the build I may be half interested in seeing what I could do with your plane if you are happy for me to amend it.
@Me600 thanks for your comments earlier, an updated version of Vanessa (the folding wings plane) has been uploaded including your suggestions it flies much better now so thanks and appreciation. Also if you would like I can help you with some undercarriage and uprated power for this model?
@carter2 thanks for your comments earlier, an updated version of Vanessa (the folding wings plane) has been uploaded including your suggestions it flies much better now so your thanks and appreciation.
@Vikdesign @carter2 @Me600 a new version uploaded a few moments ago addressing the issues you raised (other than the missiles possibly causing detonation). Your comments would be most welcome.
@hypnotoad, was just uploading v1.1 as you commented having shifted the COL backwards she's less likely to bite your hand if you are a bit hard with the stick.
@Me600 the rocket racks are rather experimental, I had issues a plenty setting them up in the first place but think they suit the vintage look, May go back to more conventional weapons if others keep having issues.
@Vikdesign I'm aware the COL and COM are fairly close to one another I had issues with it sitting on its nose when I had it set up for safer flight, next effort will probably have a larger fuel cell just behind the main gear and delete fuel from the edge of the tail, that or I may just stretch the fuselage a little, which would you prefer to see?

Did I enter the twinprop I seem to think you commented/rated it?
It looks great and flies ok until you rip the wings to pieces, more sections of structural wing would have held together better.

@JacobHardy64 thanks for the pre-emptive rating, have you had chance to fly it yet?
*##¿ Biscuits that hasn't linked in here, give me a few moments to try again.
Hope your happy with modified landing gear, if not let me know and I will replace it with more conventional gear and repost.

@planesnthings many thanks.
Anyone else having issues with floppy wings? Or low fuel? I'm able to visit both carriers and airfields with fuel in reserve.
@JacobHardy64 @KingDeadshot thanks guys, felt a bit of cop out just reposting something I previously posted but I guess if it help it gain exposure then it's not so terrible.

@Papaantho3 thanks for taking a look.
@Authros many thanks couldn't have done it without you.
@WalrusAircraft many thanks couldn't have done it without bits you produced.
@carter2 thanks for your assistance and rating.
@Stealthbomber thanks for having a look can you sort some other unlinked rotators for those wishing to do similar?

@Scriefers can I borrow your torpedo to use in my Vanessa? https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/qFR7ru/Vintage-Naval-Strike-Aircraft-v1-1
Looks great, saved to fly tomorrow.
@TanksOfOld your a self confessed plane nerd so what do you think Vanessa here looks like?

@SpiritusRaptor many thanks, like the rockets a lot.
@Vikdesign many thanks

@JacobHardy64 big thanks, any suggestions as to anything that could be better?
@SpiritusRaptor hopeful that you like my usage of your Rocket rack; https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/qFR7ru/Vintage-Naval-Strike-Aircraft-v1-1
@CheekyMonkey many thanks the part count isn't that high I'm surprised it gives you issues.

It's an excellent effort at a technologically challenging aircraft well done.
@carter2 thanks for your comments earlier, an updated version of Vanessa (the folding wings plane) has been uploaded including your suggestions it flies much better now so your thanks and appreciation.
An odd little plane once it's in the air though it flies well enough.
@hypnotoad Many thanks.

Looks none too bad congratulations on posting your first jet plane.
