@JoeriV I presume that they were inspired by a hypothetical F/A-18F Advanced Super Hornet upgrade. They could carry four AIM-120s or two AIM-120s and two 1,000-pound JDAMs in one pod. Simply put: more ordnance on fewer stations.
I'm gonna have to correct you: the USAF never operated Panthers. Those were Navy jets. The first successful USAF jet fighter would arguably be the F-80 Shooting Star.
Looks pretty accurate. I'd say the rear landing gear is the only issue since the real F-15 had one-wheel main gear but that doesn't exactly exist in SimPlanes.
@Vincent_ While technically true, the F-16 never went to Vietnam. It entered service in 1978 even though it flew in 1974. F-14s, however, did fly in Vietnam in the latter year but saw no combat since they only flew air cover.
That's some ridiculous acceleration. Even at 1 percent power, you can already take off with plenty of runway to spare (assuming you took off from Wright Airport).
Fairly accurate. Now we just need to make it so that she's seaworthy and doesn't capsize when turning her guns.
+1East meets west

+1@LESSARD526 so far, it only appears to be with this plane only. I even tried switching cockpits to no avail.

+1If you mount this on an aircraft and it becomes an AI-controlled aircraft, firing your guns also fires the AI's laser.
+1@Bonelesspizza 1400 seems awfully low for just one 500-pound bomb and one machine gun.
I'd say the fixed gear and low thrust would have something to do with it flying no faster than 310 knots.

What do I have to change if my muzzle velocity is 2000 meters per second?
@deleteduser not at all
Imma try it on mobile
Edit: didn't work
Soviet and American weapons on one aircraft. Interesting choice.
That looks a lot like a J-10.
I'm just going to say that it'll help to have another set of landing gear. Probably in tailwheel configuration.
@Killerbot777777 One connector works fine for me. Did you use the Beast catapult location or did you taxi to it?
You only need one connector.
What does VTOL do in this build? I flipped the switches around a few times and didn't see any change in flight characteristics.
The fact that this is only 327 parts is pretty impressive.
For some strange reason, my game stops working if I get bad damage. The physics and everything else will run except the touchscreen.

@Vincent_ Yep, the F-16 never flew in Vietnam.
Curiously, the F-14 did, but it saw no combat.
Looks neat. Almost a 1:1 size.
Looks promising. Is it possible to land and takeoff from it?
Commenting to save this when I get on mobile because we can't save mods for some reason
Looks promising. Is there a version that doesn't require SimpleWings?
Looks promising, any version without the modded parts?
Well, I suppose you got the general plan of the aircraft.
Or you know, just put a bunch of rocket pods on
"Left trim" is called VTOL.
Man, this bird does not like to go fast.
Since this was iOS, you can't use the Overload mod. I would recommend putting structural wings and regular wings together.
I could make an AWACS radar out of this.
Commenting for future reference.
I'm having trouble downloading this for Android.

It says that the mod failed to execute for Android. I'm sure I downloaded the Android version.
Commenting for future reference on Android as I can't find the "save" button.
Commenting so I have it saved
