@meh64 The rotator turns the pyramidal adapter blocks to which the cone is attached. Probably the best way to understand is to take it apart and play around.
Thanks @jacobhardy64, @weebabyseamus, @teus, @planesnthings, @wakescar. Currently one of my favorites to fly so I'm glad you like it too!
Also let me know if you have any thoughts why take off is so slow. Something to do with the rear gear rotators. If you replace them with plain blocks, all is resolved.
@planelover400 hey, I've created both but I'm on beta and so most cannot download them. If you have beta though let me know, otherwise I'll wait until the new software update.
Cool idea gooboo, though like you said it's very difficult to fly with the bombs on. Try to place the bombs more centrally on the plane and you might find better balance.
@WWIIPlaneBuilder @jettison as most don't use rudder, I intentionally bound those flaps to yaw. They're there just for looks as the a6 has flaps all along the wing.
Cool idea and good execution
@CorvetteCole thanks fir the punny rating and I'll take a look.
Thanks @planesofold
@planesnthings huh, I'm not sure what's up with the landing, seemed quite landable to me, just have to be liberal with the brakes.
@a5mod3us I hear you on the take off, not sure why it does that, but in-air starts work beautifully.
Nice work, love the engines
Nice work, flies great. Take a look at my b58 if you get a chance and let me know what you think.
Looks great, unfortunately was not able to use it on my mobile but will check it out for sure when I get to my Surface.
Awesome work, love this plane in real life and this is a great model of it
@teus good thinking, on this one, plenty of groups to spare but will be helpful for my more complex bombers/fighters
Nice work man
Very excited for this one!
@allstarship, glad you like this one. It's one of my favorites to play around with but never seemed to get a lot of love. To each their own though.
@allstarship, I did not, that's a pretty cool fact.
Beautiful work
Awesome stability
Super creative. I love the cockpit view!
@planelover400 Thanks very much
@planelover400 here you go. No more requests for now but thanks for the suggestions!
Glad you like it. Did you make any changes or just reupload.
Awesome, this is via code editing?
@blackninja012 first, hit group one and vtol to aim the blades down at least 45deg. Throttle up and you're good to go.
@vikdesigns, yup, use similar techniques on a number of my builds.
Love both of your new steampunk planes but particularly this one. Totally unique design but very flyable. Love the huge bomb too.
@wapo2000 check to see if there is an update available for the program.
@planelover400, Thanks, we'll see what I can do. The larger ones like a b29 take a while.

Great work, was the original yours?

@planelover400 here you go
Great contest, thanks!
@spiritusraptor question for you. How did you get the swept wings not to be "floppy". Seems mine always pivot on the rotator. Great plane by the way!
Nice job looks great
@planelover400 definitely was planing on giving an F-111 a try but look at @Scriefers Voodoo, not sure I can do any better!
@planelover400 posting now
@planelover400 hey, I've created both but I'm on beta and so most cannot download them. If you have beta though let me know, otherwise I'll wait until the new software update.

@GOOBOOFLIER sure, I'll take a look
something I've been meaning to do too, always awkward taking off backwards...
Great build, love the personal history associated as well.
Gorgeous
@JoffahSanno Thanks, check out the revised version too for slightly adjusted aesthetics and 'vents' that open in vtol mode
@authors, thanks, you're right inverted pitch is a good option for those flaps.
@WWIIPlaneBuilder @jettison as most don't use rudder, I intentionally bound those flaps to yaw. They're there just for looks as the a6 has flaps all along the wing.
@ElijtheGeat saw that, guess I'm not alone in using wikipedia
Nice work, take a look at my Global Hawk if you don't mind.
@Teus great contest!
Nice work. Did a similar VTOL build with my Yak 141. Take a peek if you have time.
@Gg1234 thanks, but it's ok. Just glad to see that people like it.
