I think the annoyance in this comments section arises from the apparent lack of effort here. This post would have been fun if more effort was put into it. Perhaps an SP logo on the egg? Or even more parts to make the egg look more... egglike? Of course I'm not the type to joke around on the site too much, but when I do, I put some effort into it.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that it is a "stupid" way to model, but traditional methods are much easier on the file size. That's alright though - as long as you are smart with the part count, then you should be fine!
In non-commercial projects, it should be fine to use simpleplanes models. Of course, if you are using another user's models, be sure to ask for their permission! I should add, though, that while many of the builds here are beautiful, the 3D object file is... messy. The file, due to how it was modeled, is massive for its detail. If you want, I can send you an image that demonstrates this.
@randomusername I always appreciate it when players apply some math to SP. Wing loading, a ratio of how much lift is applied to a unit area, directly varying with a speed, doesn't seem to make sense to me mathematically. Still, very interesting though, and good work. I think you should try to see how wing area and wing loading work together to affect stall speed!
It's unfortunate that the car didn't get as much feedback as you anticipated. However, I would not attribute that to part count. Instead, look at other factors. For example, the designer background you used, in my opinion, could make the screenshots visually confusing. I should probably add, too, that in a community of aviation enthusiasts, a 60s F1 racecar might not pique everyone's interest.
@Chancey21 I used PowerPoint to format the images, shapes, and text. From there, I took a delayed screenshot of the slide in slide show mode, so the resolution was perfect for my screen size.
If I remember right, your aircraft would "sustain critical damage" if a large enough mass was removed from it via detacher. I haven't stumbled along such a bug in months though. Good use of it!
@REXTHEDINO Thank you, I always appreciate it when others recognize the effort that I put into my profile! Unfortunately, I would not be able to do that challenge, because my time is quite scarce these days. Sorry about that
Why not a modded VTOL engine with the nozzles on the rotor blades? Might be a little easier to use, and there are plenty of modded VTOL engines on the site, so it might be easier to manage how much power you need. Edit: Nevermind. Just saw the bolded text.
"If mods are the only future of SimplePlanes, then SimplePlanes iOS is dead."
This might be true if your initial assumption was realistic. However, I believe that it is not - mods aren't really a big part of SP. Overload and fine tuner are useful, but they are not required to produce high-quality builds.
@CyberNova Unfortunately, due to the mechanics behind this craft, it would be somewhat complex to make a mobile version of this (removing parts can have unforeseen consequences on how the craft behaves). Due to this, and my limited time, I cannot make a mobile version of this plane. Sorry!
@Vapegun The modified bomb can be extracted from this plane. However, if you specifically want to see the PROJECT: Heavy Vortex weapon in action, you can check out the Genesis Battleship. I should say though, that it is an old build! While it is certainly great build, it also doesn't meet my current performance and quality standards.
From what I have seen, many higher-ranked players are continuing to upload. As for me, my reasons for inactive uploading schedule are unrelated to SP or its website...
@Ephwurd Thanks! I tried my best to write about the physics of the ship, as well as its general characteristics. I hope that the desc was entertaining though.
@TheChosenOne Pretty fast. Thank you for reading it! I hope that you found it interesting - I sure did, but I also enjoy math a little more than most people.
@AWESOMENESS360 Thank you! This build packs about two months of thought into a package that took two weeks to construct. Needless to say, it is one of my favorite designs. As for the IMPULSE missiles, they are guardian missiles, so if you keep your sights on the target, the lock (if instant) will be re-established before the enemy shoots off their next round of flares.
@ThomasRoderick Intercipias PRIME was used in the into. It does borrow on the Mara style, yes, but that design choice comes from the complete lack of reliability from Intercipias when it is scaled up for AA combat. Plus, Intercipias PRIME combines elements of both designs, I suppose - bullet scaling was used to a small extent in Intercipias PRIME.
@randomusername @ThomasRoderick Thanks! Those guns are only meant to shield the aircraft from missiles, so i kept the range short. The HevGun, on the other hand, has an increased lifetime for better range.
Generally I try to keep my builds at a maximum of 500 parts to ensure that most users can download them. My next upload will be an exception to that rule, though.

+1@Hkis It does! Go into camera 1, then use the VTOL and trim bars to move around inside of the trailer.

+3A great post from an excellent designer. It's good to see a post from you again!

+5@REXTHEDINO Even coordinating a challenge take a lot of work. I'll certainly think about it, though, if I find the time to host a challenge.

+1Edit: Nevermind. Just saw the bolded text.
I personally prefer fictional - like @Treadmill103 said, it allows you to unleash your creativity to produce an original design.
+2@CyberNova Ah, sorry about that! I didn't test it with low physics.

+5@MAHADI Thanks! After a leave of absence, I always try to impress with a returning build.

+1@Wrysen I seem to have trouble with ship classifications. Thank you!

@Vapegun I'm not sure what you mean. Can you elaborate?
@X4JB You can use the site's formatting to insert images into a bio. For more information about markdown formatting, you can look at this forum post.
@X4JB Yep, and it isn't my first reference, either!
@Ephwurd Thanks! I tried my best to write about the physics of the ship, as well as its general characteristics. I hope that the desc was entertaining though.
@robloxweponco Thank you! I must say that I agree with you - this is one of my best-looking ships.
@FastDan Thanks! I try to improve my graphical skills with every post. I am certain that I have improved!
+1@TheChosenOne It certainly can be done on iOS. Feel free to dissect some of my AGRAV designs, and take parts as needed!
+1@PvPSky Thanks! I try my best on each one, so I am glad that you like this build, as well as the rest of my profile.
+1@TheChosenOne Pretty fast. Thank you for reading it! I hope that you found it interesting - I sure did, but I also enjoy math a little more than most people.
@GreatHenry That's odd. I do not not how to fix that. Sorry about that!
@GreatHenry Ah, does that occur during downloading?
@GreatHenry What's the specific problem?
@AWESOMENESS360 Thank you! This build packs about two months of thought into a package that took two weeks to construct. Needless to say, it is one of my favorite designs. +1@Tully2001 I greatly appreciate the spotlight. That must mean that I did especially well on this build!
@Seeras Thanks! The color scheme would have been different, but I wanted to use some school colors on it.
@TheFlyingGyro @Sm10684 @goboygo1 Thank you! I put extra effort into this one, so I greatly appreciate your support.
@Ephwurd @Spacedoge12345plane I have uploaded the plane!
@Mostly @GreatHenry @TheChosenOne The plane has been uploaded!
@Rub3n213 Ah, yeah, that's pretty ironic. Well, it's far too late to change the name, I suppose
@Ephwurd Thanks! I've been quite busy, too - I haven't had much time to play SP.
@Rub3n213 Thanks! I'm glad that my graphic style is that recognizable.
[Edit]: I might have misread your comment. Early mornings can be rough sometimes. Sorry about that.

+1If this wasn't from r/copypasta, I would have been disappointed.
+1Some people prefer replicas, but most of the SP community likes fictional designs, too! I hope that my profile is sufficient evidence for that.
+2Well done. I appreciate the sharp geometry of this ship.
@4Dimensional Thank you! I appreciate that you enjoy what I do with this game.

Nice and compact.
Interesting canard configuration!
