  • Dllama we know you have a mic just turn it on. 4.2 years ago

To install a new microphone, follow these steps:
Make sure your microphone is connected to your PC.
Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
In Sound settings, go to Input > Choose your input device, and then select the microphone or recording device you want to use.
To test a microphone that has already been installed:
Make sure your microphone is connected to your PC.
Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
In Sound settings, go to Input > Test your microphone and look for the blue bar that rises and falls as you speak into your microphone. If the bar is moving, your microphone is working properly.
If you aren't seeing the bar move, select Troubleshoot to fix your microphone.
    Open Settings

  • Auto targeting turret? 4.2 years ago

ok, copying is cool, but learning is cooler

    this is a simple one:
    heading:

this one will point a 180 degree heading rotator at the target

    (TargetHeading - Heading) / 180

We subtract our heading because TargetHeading is a global value, not in relation to the craft.

    elevation:
this will point a 90 degree elevation rotator at the target

    (TargetElevation) / 90

you will get this result. it points at the target.

now let's say you wanted to be a little cooler
you can add some target leading very easily.
The idea is that if we know the rate of angle change using rate(), we can predict the next angular position using the time it will take for the bullet to get there.
    https://pastebin.com/jCBzdxRc
    .
We add (rate(VALUE) * (TargetDistance / SPEED)) to the old one. You can very easily derive this function to realize it does what I've written above, but in FT.

    Take note:
    - these are assuming gravityless projectiles (guns).=
    - if put in rotators these will only work when you're level.
    - the above can be solved by modifying these for gyros, which are global adjusters.
    - the examples I've given you, especially the first one, are quite not complicated and should be easy to understand

This isn’t some random user picking out a random Platinum to cause drama. Sodium and Dixon are friends in real life so that justifies his previous post.

As for me, I was recently challenged to a chess match against Dixon. I accepted, but when the time of the match came, I did not join as I was currently busy with some else - the fault of my cowardice. Later on we would attempt the same match again and I would lose by timeout loss, but I did beat both of them through a heavy strategic victory in multiplication racer.

So it really is not a drama. Just a reminder to not cower in the face of chess. I will be back soon for a rematch.

  • Design theft 4.3 years ago

I agree with you. I have read some detailed studies by the NSA comparing the F-15 and Mig-31, and it states

The Mig-31 (Officially known as GAVIN) was a direct copy of the F-15. Soviet engineers only increased the engine power using their highly advanced XML engine as a replacement for the P-W F100, and as such, added more wheels to absorb landings of a heavier craft and thicker inlets to accommodate larger airframe stresses.

I don't know what the other people in the comments are thinking.

  • A message to the Community regarding the German Corsair Controversy. 4.3 years ago

Since deployment, the first two carriers of the class have run into problems with the plumbing of the waste system. The pipes were too narrow to handle the load of users, resulting in the vacuum failing and repeatedly clogged toilets.[52] To alleviate the problem, specialized acidic cleaning solutions have been used to flush out the sewage system. These cleaning treatments cost about $400,000 each time, resulting in a substantial unplanned increase in the lifetime expense of operating these ships according to the GAO. These cleanings will have to be performed for the lifetime of the ship.[52]

Hi. I don't believe that the regular airplane props (T1000, T2000, T3000) have any torque effects whatsoever. It's mostly likely due to something weird going on within the design, even after you tried debugging

So you were right the 1st time
