Love the Entwicklung series of concept tanks, they're just enormous and scary looking. Likely wouldn't've been practical for their huge cost, weight, maintenance, and resource requirements, but damn the blueprints and design concepts look really cool. Would be awesome to see a functional restored E-100 thundering around in person, but I think the only complete chassis was either destroyed or melted down for its metal content.
@jluna123 if I think about it, I might add the DownPour mod lizards. So the Caramel Lizard, Strawberry Lizard, and Hurricane Lizard. Oh and I was also considering trying to make a Vulture and all its variants too, because that might be fun
@YarisSedan I think I'll do that after I actually post the creation I've been teasing here for so long, it's not off the table as far as I'm concerned.
@YarisSedan i would have to spoil some of the lore to explain what i mean by ascension. I will say, it all ties directly back to this creature, as improbable as that sounds.

We'll say that it's not from our world. Some sort of massive energy burst, something powerful enough to create a rift in space time, something to warp our reality. It doesn't belong here. Until the next localized reality distortion sends it back to where it came from, it will stay within our realm, nothing we can really do about it.
Fantastic cinematic, really good quick shots and camera tracking. The split screen part showing the altimeter going ballistic alongside its respective aircraft climbing vertically was really cool, I can tell a lot of love and passion was put into this. Makes me wish I had a PC so i could download mods and achieve higher quality graphics so I could make stuff like this.
@jluna123 nope, but they are similar. Interestingly enough, the Leviathan from RainWorld is in fact related to this creature, in contextual RainWorld lore.
All who commented "T" or some other method of tag request on the previous four Found Footage posts, including this one, will be tagged on the eventual release of this creation. So comment T if you wish to be tagged when I release it!

Oh and btw this is the song that I used in the video.
Neat concept, makes me wonder how well something like this would work irl, and/or how plausible it would actually be to get it working to the extent that it's actually useful and not just a gimmick.
I do love me a big 'ole flying wing, although I must say the leading edge of the wings is rather chunky. Aside from that, everything else is pretty nice
Great SU-47, thumbnail is terrible. It looks cool, don't get me wrong. But the plane blends in with the background a lot, and you can barely see it. I only clicked on the post because I love the SU-47, otherwise I likely wouldn't've payed any attention to it. Try to make your creation stick out in an obvious but still cool/creative way for your thumbnail images, helps with engagement a lot.

1. I am the only voice actor in these videos; in the video editor I use, called VLLO, you can modify audio to sound differently. I just adjust my voicelines accordingly for different characters, changing the pitch, tone, and whatever else.
|
2. The loud bass heavy noise that the "thing" emits is a product of two things; being nearly a mile long, and surprisingly fast for its size, the pressure wave it creates as it moves makes a lot of sound. Additionally, the creature itself makes a lot of internal sounds that can reverberate through the environment, oftentimes as a method of communication.
|
3. I made the creature, and the FA-18 Hornet flown by the pilot in the video is the stock Jundroo Wasp, though I did modify it slightly for the purposes of the video.
|
4. Perhaps if more people ask for it, I could do a little mini-tutorial or behind the scenes type of video, showcasing how I make stuff like this.
Not bad, however I will say that the thumbnail image, while cool looking, does obscure the actual build a little bit, what with the MiG-29(I think?) covering the SU-34 slightly.
The way the arms work is, from a SimplePlanes engineering standpoint, absolutely fascinating. You have created what is essentially Procedural Animation, a method of animating that follows no rigid set of premade animations, and instead flows freely via natural physics reactions, only directed by Ai processes coded into the behavior of whatever is being procedurally animated. RainWorld is a fantastic example of a game that utilizes this; to reference the game, the way the arms on your Man'O'War here function is strikingly similarly to the tentacle legs of a RainWorld Daddy-Long-Legs, I'm legitimately really impressed with this funky-trees behavior you've made for this creation, very VERY well done!!
@YarisSedan sorry about that, for some reason I can't add in custom captions for the video, not even in YouTube studio. I tried following every tutorial I could find and nothing works. I don't know if it's a pc only thing? Since I'm doing all of this on my phone and I don't have a computer, so I guess that might be it? I really tried.
I love this lmao

Damn
@overlord5453 if you had to take a guess, what do you think the part count is?
This looks fantastic for such a low part count, great part efficiency!! Flight performance is a little sub-par, but atleast it still flies.
+4@YarisSedan I think I'll do that after I actually post the creation I've been teasing here for so long, it's not off the table as far as I'm concerned.
nice buccaneer, would've liked to have a description though.
Dyson Sphere
Stand by for Titanfall!

+1I kept spamming AG1 and it exploded his head and the punching thing, 10/10

This is really cool, beautiful rolling scissors. Those two pilots were at it.
+1Really nice for only 99 parts

Sending my condolences, I'm really sorry to hear about this.
+1Fully custom-made prop blades, now that's something you don't see very often on this site!
Oooh I like where this is going so far
good luck!

This is a great idea actually, far better method of introducing new players to the games building techniques. This should be in the game, actually
+2Gaijin pls
+3Great camo

+2Huh, looks like a combination of the FA-18 Hornet and the MiG-25 Foxbat. I like it
+1I'd have to say the site-record P-51, it has both the most upvotes and comments I've ever seen, and will very likely stay that way forever.
link to P-51 in question
currently has 2,205 comments, and 1,640 upvotes.
+1Super clean build, love me an enormous cargo aircraft.
clicked for the thumbnail, stayed for the nice plane.
Really fantastic already, this looks incredibly real.

nice build timelapse
I second the name White Widow ⬇️

+1"Attention to the map!"
+2@overlord5453 you'll get there someday
Nice cinematics, short and sweet. Good usage of different weather settings to get dynamic/interesting lighting.

Actually really nice looking for only 65 parts!!

A flying submarine that can function underwater as normal, but can also fly like a plane using extendable/retractable wings
mods are gonna have a field day with this one (potential training/rite of passage for crazyplaness?)
Cool thumbnail
