In the designer, click on the View menu (looks like an eye) and from there, click on the blueprint button. Click “Open Image”, and open your screenshot. The screenshot should appear in the background behind the plane, however note that if you move the angle at all the blueprint will disappear. Move the image so it is not in front of the plane. From there, Press Share Aircraft and press take screenshot. Carefully pan so that the image takes up the entirety of your screen and press done. You should have a custom screenshot.
@Ashdenpaw1 Take your photo and get it into an image url using a website (I use Gifyu), and in your bio description, type “![](image url)”. When you save the change and exit the description editor, the image should show up.
@mrpuzzles unfortunately, I am not at a game capable device right now so I cannot see the plane perform however a general tip is to have longer wings. If you don’t like how the longer wings look, use XML or Fine Tuner to scale it down by 0.001 in all dimensions, which will make them almost impossible to see but still provide that maneuverability. However, make sure get it to how you like it before scaling down, as it is very hard to edit it when it is very small.
You can try making a copy that has the control surfaces edited so that no inputs can affect them except trim, and place it in the same build area as the OG build, in the location you want it to be in formation (probably on front of and to the side of the OG build). Then copy it again and place it also in formation. From there, spawn in the air, go full throttle and trim out so the formation levels off, and when you go to break away using pitch and roll, only one plane should move. Then, you can get the screenshot.
I use an iOS IPad, and the joysticks are easy to control. Though you can see what device some uses by going to any plane they made and going to specifications.
Cool! Very fast! However, next time make sure to add a description with all activation groups and what they do listed, as we do not know anything about your plane. Also, get a screenshot with the entire plane.
If I don’t know what to build, I like to build something that I haven’t built before, or look for an active challenge. If you want something specific, try a biplane.
I know almost nothing about Funky Trees so don’t take my word for it but I think it’s possible that FireWeapons is an input (equals 1 when you are pressing the button), or it could be that you want FireGuns.
However, it is likely that I could be completely wrong since I’ve never used funky trees.
Nice plane! One suggestion would be to have your first screen shot to be of the entire plane, as that would let people know what the build was at first glance.
Nice glider with tow plane! One suggestion though is don’t use the mirror tool when you have a custom cockpit, as it will affect the cockpit, potentially ruining it. Use the mirror part tool instead. (Found in the rotations part of the designer, has a tail with a wing)
I believe it is because many people are uploading their creations at once, but the site can’t handle so many uploads at one time, so none of them are being published.
@AEROSPACE1128 Oh, well you’ve gained some notoriety, and you got on highest rated. You also got enough points to make it to silver, which normally takes some effort. It probably got removed because you were getting so many points with no effort, idk why you kept your points though.
@idkwhatosay It’s okay since you are new and probably don’t know this, but don’t advertise your stuff in the comments unless it was requested (i.e. if someone asks for VTOL builds, then it would be okay for you to give them the link to a VTOL build you made)
@Mousewithamachinegun123 The way I do mine is to use the move tool (in the blueprint menu) to put the screenshot above the build, I then unselect the tool and carefully drag up (to not change perspective at all) until It is lined up
Nice job with the tank! Two suggestions are to change the name to just steel dawn and make the first screenshot one of the entire build, as it would give people more of an idea on what the build actually was (I originally thought it was a destroyer), and also list the controls and all of the activation groups in the description.
Walv!s makes a good tutorial on this

If this is trying to do something following ¡UPLOAD TEST!, it won’t work. I only did that because it was a genuine test as far as we know, not trying to get any upvotes. For me, this was a one-off thing, and it will likely be that way for a lot of people.
If you want to get to silver, focus on making good content.
Note: if this was a genuine test, sorry for the misunderstanding and forget this comment, except the part about good content.
@Catdog613 If you want to make a vtol plane check out this tutorial (it’s what I used to figure out how to make this)

You are welcome to repaint and repost as long as there is an auto-credit (as long as you don’t do anything weird like transfer it to another build it should appear). Also, if you make any changes that are not 100% visual (adding or changing a part in ways other than paint), make sure that the Center of Thrust lines up vertically with the Center of Mass, and test it once you are done.
If you have any questions in making/modifying a vtol plane that the tutorial didn’t answer, reply to me

@TheMouse
Can you be more specific?
That’s really your decision to make, so feel free to do differently, but I would wait for SP2.
Try moving your center of mass forward
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 just since a rapier is similar to a saber
Maybe the rapier?
@TheHamburgerCorperation Thank you!

@theNoobCountry2withM1911 pretty sure that was a certified autocorrect moment

@TheMouse
@TheMouse I was just testing with unlisted posts

@Akashenik Thanks!
P.S. if you want the plane that is breaking away to be releasing flares, remove the counter measure dispensers from the copies.

Maybe because it can redirect to an app (SimplePlanes) but I’m not sure.

This is my first time using funky trees.
@Mousewithamachinegun122 How do you make this hover?

Grave robbing
@Mousewithamachinegun123 Yes, and if they think it satisfies the requirements, they will curate it
Annoy the deceased
@Mousewithamachinegun123 oh yeah, make sure to give it the VR tag or it can’t get curated
@Tortoise500000 one tip would be to add tags, especially the VR tag so it can get curated (allows people to use it when playing with a VR headset)
Both this and the Marader are really good!

@WinsWings Thanks! I just added a history, in case you arrived too early to read it.

Talk about perfect upload timing

Seriously, please don’t upvote this, upvote D point, as that’s where the idea and all the work came from, I just changed the letter.
Just shows how lenient the game is on what should be able to fly

@Stargazerreadytofly6371 Oh my bad. Sorry bout that

@Graingy in thickness or length?
@GrandPrix sorry if this is to late, but I didn’t see a deadline
