@Spacedoge12345plane @GeneralOliverVonBismarck Thanks for testing. We're not sure when the stable version is coming exactly, but best case scenario would be mid-March.
@SpicyViper @GeneralOliverVonBismarck @GeneralOliverVonBismarck @MrAspy @Spacedoge12345plane @SubordinateCookies iOS beta is now available. Get it here. Remember, this is a beta! So don't get it unless you are comfortable with losing your planes/in-game settings/etc.
The problem with exporting models from SimplePlanes is that it includes the copyrighted part models that were made by the artists that have worked on SimplePlanes. We don't mind if you use them in a non-commercial product with proper attribution to the original airplane author and indicate that it came from SimplePlanes. If you have a commercial product in mind then things are more complicated.
@CoolPeach This should be fixed tonight when we reboot our servers. Sorry for the inconvenience. Funny thing is this is completely unrelated to the other issues we are having on the website today.
@BogdanX @SledDriver Great ideas, guys. Thanks! We already have a big backlog of things we want to do, but these are great ideas and we will be sure to keep these in mind when we start the 1.8 update.
SledDriver, I did want to mention that some of your ideas won't be possible as you have suggested. The part that moves other parts, such as the cannon recoil and the mover parts. In order for a part to another part, it has to use the physics engine and do so using joints, which means it will have all the same frustrations as the rotators, pistons, shocks, etc.
@CRJ900Pilot Ok, I think I know what's going on. Whenever you click the Notifications button, it wipes out the number of notifications waiting. It really just means how many notifications have arrived since you last visited the notifications page.
It looks like the Power attribute on those prop engines was set to NaN, which is not a good thing. Were you using the Overload mod to increase the power of those prop engines? You may have increased it a bit too much. Here's the fixed version.
@DD649 You're probably got the game for free on Amazon Underground. We removed SP from Amazon Underground, so if you want to get the update, then you will need to purchase it on the Amazon App Store.
@SledDriver wow, thanks for the offer to help with the website! We may take you up on that! Thanks for the suggestions on the website. Lots of great feedback. When the bomb explosions crash the game, I know that can be frustrating, but part of me thinks it really just demonstrates how powerful the explosion was :D
@SledDriver @WalrusAircraft Thanks for the suggestions guys. You both make incredible designs and I'm always interested to hear your suggestions. I can't promise we're going to implement them, but I did add this to our task board to consider for 1.8.
That's very interesting with the slow-downs in the designer related to intersecting parts. Thank you for letting us know about that.
We spent a solid 15 minutes huddled around Kevin's computer looking at this thing. All of our jaws were on the floor. Incredible work, @REW. I agree with @WeeBabySeamus, you beat the game.
@HistoricBirds @Spacedoge12345plane Are you using a Mac?
+1@Spacedoge12345plane @GeneralOliverVonBismarck Thanks for testing. We're not sure when the stable version is coming exactly, but best case scenario would be mid-March.

+1I assume you are using a Mac? This should be fixed tonight when we reboot our servers. Sorry for the inconvenience.
+1Thanks for letting me know! This should be working now. Let me know if you are still seeing these issues.
+1That’s right I did! Thanks for remembering! This is a beautiful airplane! @MrSilverWolf

+1To clarify, I’m talking about the Xmas break and not the thanksgiving break.
+1@BoeyingOfficial There's a Part Shape Tool (press 'F') that lets you tweak width/height of fuel tanks/nose cones/etc.
+1@Chancey21 That's funny you mention that. I just did that. I removed the flair from @RocketLL and @Skua, since they've been inactive for over a year.
+1@Hennerz We plan on doing a 1.8 update this year and yes SP is our biggest game so far.
+1@MrAspy Right now we'are using Unity 2017.3.1p1.
+1@FastDan Yes, William is HellFireKoder
+1@Potato21 We strive for fewer parts, but more customizability with each part.
+1@TheGuyYouMightKnow Your usage is totally fine. Thanks for the links. We might reword the rule a bit to make it more clear that your planes are okay.
+1I had to push the tournament back a few hours because I won’t be available at the originally stated time.
+1I'm sorry for the screen problems. I will try and get a fix in as soon as I can.
+1@Speedhunter No, unfortunately, I don't know of any that do that anymore.
+1@Jetpackturtle lol, no worries :)
+1@CRJ900Pilot Ok, I think I know what's going on. Whenever you click the Notifications button, it wipes out the number of notifications waiting. It really just means how many notifications have arrived since you last visited the notifications page.
+1@CRJ900Pilot Do you sometimes view a notification by clicking the link in an email notification?
+1I also moved the start time back 1.5 hours to 2:30PM UTC (still on Sunday).
+1Just ran a validation check. If your design had any violations, then you will receive a notification. No news is good news.
+1Thanks for letting me know. I logged the issue.
+1It looks like the Power attribute on those prop engines was set to NaN, which is not a good thing. Were you using the Overload mod to increase the power of those prop engines? You may have increased it a bit too much. Here's the fixed version.
+1Thanks for letting us know.
+1@Iamsilverdahedgie Try restarting your device and see if the problem persists.
+1Congrats on winning the tournament!
+1@JoshuaW Did you watch the videos? Whenever we use Euler angles they are converted into a quaternion via Quaternion.Euler().
+1@Baldovino @Patrick20206 Okay, I just looked in the code. Modding traction is actually not a violation. :O Good luck!
+1@JoshuaW I'd recommend checking out this page.
+1@roboflop109 Just build a car, upload it to the website, and then click Enter Tournament at the top of this page.
+1@GT3TobyRS Fixed.
+1@Kevinairlines Yes
+1@SledDriver Thanks for letting me know. I added that bug to the list.
+1</GUI>
+1Sorry, that was really bothering my OCD.
I believe that was just the Blasto BFE150 (which we later tweaked and renamed to BFE150), but forgot to update that level.xml.
+1@Sauce lol, thanks! Hey, you make awesome stuff too! I really enjoy your builds and suggestions.

+1lol, the destroyer didn't stand a chance.
+1@Testin123 ah, yes....that would have Sir Newton rolling around in his grave!
+1@InternationalAircraftCompany We are hoping to start beta testing late this week or early next week. We'll keep ya posted ;)
+1We spent a solid 15 minutes huddled around Kevin's computer looking at this thing. All of our jaws were on the floor. Incredible work, @REW. I agree with @WeeBabySeamus, you beat the game.
+1We found a bug in v1.6.1 on the Mac App Store, so we uploaded a new version. Try updating to v1.6.2 on the Mac App Store.
+1@Multidimensional like it was yesterday!
