@Raiquaza19AirComp In that case, I'd recommend you join the Port SP discord server if you have discord. It's an SP themed discord server specifcally for ship builders. It's a great place if you want to improve you ship building skills because many of SP's ship builders are there and everyone is very helpful.
Here is an invite link if you want to join: https://discord.gg/kXnJxsH
@SimpleHelper In you Steam library, you right click on SP and click on Properties. A new window will appear, the you go to "Betas" tab. There, in the dropdown menu you chose "public-test - Public Test". The game will the download a small update, and then, you are ready to play with the beta version
@AlphagamingWw2 my mobile can run it, so does a friend of mine's, plus someone in the comments also claimed that it ran smooth on their phone. Thus, I determined this build to be mobile friendly based on these feedbacks ans experiences.
However:
"Mobile friendly" is a very vague term because there is no way to determine what type of phone each and every user has, so there might be devices that can run even 2000+ part builds without a problem, while there could also be devices that have a hard time dealing with a 200 part build.
I'm sorry your device can't run this, but I'd recommend taking a look at my latest forum post where I announced a future series of mobile friendly rebuilds. Your device might be able to run these future builds but I can't promise it.
Will the slicing only be visual or will it also apply to the collisions of the fuselage? (eg if I slice a hole on top of a hollow fuselage and drop another part on it, will it fall into it or will it just stop on top of it as if the fuselage was still a whole piece?
Also speaking of collisions, can you make the customizable fuselages' collisinions match their customized edges? (eg if they have circular edges, they can roll away and not act like they still have hard egdes)
@WNP78
@BryanO5 As of now, I plan to make mobile friendly versions of my older ships (USS Texas, USS Arizona, HMS Dreadnought, USS Oklahoma) as these are the least mobile friendly of my builds plus I'm very obsessed with ships recently. I'm not sure if other older builds (let's call them "pre BMS builds") will have mobile friendly versions because as far as I know, most of them are not that problematic (they are usually not large is size and only a few of them have part counts above 600)
As for future builds: every new build I make will be tested on my phone and if it can't run them, then a mobile friendly version of it will be made. At least that's the plan but I will try to follow that plan, starting with the USS Oklahoma mobile friendly version which will be published in a few days
Note: there are some details (such as a working clock on the forward mast) that are not present on the screenshots as they were added after the screenshots were made

It only takes a few minutes for you but it would help me a lot!
Ability to get individual information (like altitude, heading etc.) of other parts, not just the cockpit, to be used in FT. example: Altitude(string partID), so let's say if I want to make an input based on the altitude of the part with the id of 8, I can use Altitude("8") as a parameter.
A little teaser for my new USS Oklahoma build, I hope you like it!
Sorry for the laggy parts but the build has a part count of close to 2500 parts and my computer was a struggling a bit.
Comment 'T' to get tagged when the final build releases.
"...We're also working on a big update for the original SimplePlanes..."
And like that, you got me hyped as hell! Can't wait for it!
As for the VR part... does anyone have a spare few hundred dollars for me to buy a VR headset?
@ThatOneThiccPlaneStealer I already have plans for such ship so I won't put this request on the list. But thank you for your request! :D
If you go to my BM Updates page, you'll find a project called BM Simples, I that project will include such ships. You can follow it's progress on BM Updates
Note: Project Wreck Exploration will be on a break for now and I will return to my usual builds (Starting with the newly finished USS Oklahoma!). I hope you like this series and I plan to make it return in the future.
@sharkysSPacc I don't plan on making such version of this build (at least as of now, it might change in the future but I don't promise it)
You are free to modify my build as long as you give credit to me in the decription of your post. ;)
@Bismarcksurvivor100 I was thinking about making the camo net but it would have added hundreds of more parts so I decided to leave it out for the sake of lower part count
For the bug on the last screenshots: press 'o' and click on the ocean button, and there, turn off the mod, then, press 'o' again and turn on the mod, this usually fixes it for me
@WolfSpark well sir, it's your lucky day, I started working on the Yorktown just after I uploaded the Bismarck teaser and it's gonna be the next one after the Bismarck is released :D

This build is dedicated to those who were aboard Bismarck and aboard the RN ships that were fighting her during that final battle. May those, who didn't survive, rest in peace.
What is Project Wreck Exploration?
PWE is a side project I've been working on when I felt burned out after building my primary projects. It aims to recreate some of history's most famous shipwrecks along with a decorative research vessel, and a submersible to be used to explore these wrecks. The wrecks themselves are 1:1 size and in some cases are in accurate depth.
@ThatOneThiccPlaneStealer Back when I built this I misread the name of the island to be Karkaboa, but later when I noticed the mistake, I decided to leave it like this and not change it :)
@LaBaguette the HMS Dreadnought did not participate in the Battle of Jutland, but yes, the HMS Vanguard was a dreadnought type ship and so was the entire St. Vincent-class (they were improved versions of the Bellerophon-class which was the improved version of the HMS Dreadnought)
Respect to your great uncle for his service, may he rest in peace. o7

This build is dedicated to those who were aboard the Britannic on that tragic morning. May those, who didn't survive, rest in peace.

+1Are you planning to make more ships in the future?
Awesome! very well done, especially considering that it was made on android.

@Ryn176 yeah, that would be an interesting experiment for sure. Let me know about the results (tho I might try it myself too)
+3This is probably the color theme that game uses when it creates the orthographic images for the uploads. Very interesting find.

@WNP78 Sounds good!
+1And what about the problem with the collisions of the edges I mentioned? can that be solved or it is not possible?
