Yeah, it got removed after the 1.9 where designer suite was integrated into the main game and modding become unavailable. Virtually every android player wants this function back.
@NightmareCorporation android players used to have a way to upload posts with screenshots up until 1.9. Now we dont. While its pretty much a vanity feature it does help to attract a bigger audience towards a post. Its obvious that building from an android is a bit of a pain in the butt to begin with as most devices arent that powerful and have relatively smaller screens. So when someone works 20-30 hours on a build, they expect it to be seen by more and more people. But what usually happens is most people just click on the builds with fancy thumbnails and dont look at the other ones. And about people who dont put in high amounts of efforts are usually casual players who just do this for their own enjoyment and dont care about getting upvotes.
Its a good joke but making fun of beginner planes isnt cool, also this is a pretty real issue on the site. Low effort and low detailed replicas get way more attention and love than a well promoted well made fictional plane. I ll even use my posts as example, I made a KI46 replica that had questionable quality and was made in a week that got 50 upvotes, on the other hand my A8 shepherd build (fictional) for which I even made a cinematic trailer, took nearly a month to research and make and had a ton of cool details has 20 upvotes.
And yeah, internet points do nothing but its about how many people found the plane and appriciated your craft.
What I am trying to say is its really not cool to make fun of beginner planes and nor to make fun of a pretty legit issue.
@DeezDucks yeah the colors are way over the top. But f5 afterburners arent really that much brighter, not in daylight atleast. And yeah it is way whiter irl. But i really digged the fire breathing look of this so just kept this.
@exosuit Heres the thing with using an upscaled part though. Although it will make a slightly better thumbnail, as a single color is obviously not a huge improvement, it will just become a part of the build, as you cant remove a piece after taking screenshots. Its just gonna be there on the designer monochromes and everything. Which is never good because you obviously dont want a stray huge piece of fuselage in a build that youve worked hard on to make it perfect. Its not that easy for mobile man.
Try wheeler motorized passenger/goods carriers can be found through out asia, this one might be chinese but you can find ones like these in India, nepal, bangladesh, barma, srilanka, philipines @Gameboi14
@EngineerOtaku During my research for this plane I found out there were two/three types of armed KI.46s. Japan
never considered the dinah for an attack/intercepter aircraft until they were on their last leg in 1943-44. Development on a "KI.46 III KAI" started long after the battle of midway which had a pair of 20mm cannons and another fixed one at the top, it had reverted back to its "Step cockpit" design to accommodate the nose cannons. They even had a ground attack version called KI.46 otsu.
But all of these had the same problem, they were absolutely useless. KI.46s were built for speed, with light armor and a lack of selfsealing tanks it was never intended to endure a firefight head on. So its no surprise when enemy aircrafts began to get stronger over the war with improve radar technology the KI46 slowly became less and less useful. Slapping guns onto it didnt solve any problems, the intercepter versions weren't even equipped with radar.

"welcome to simpleplanes. Looks and presentations are everything. and if you are on ios or android, then tough luck lol"
I kinda have to somewhat agree with you on this. Although it seems a bit elitist and shit and I genuinely love this update, the ease of access to things such as guages nav balls and part slicing does mean that someone who used to spend hours and hours for a single guage and then make a instrument panel with 30 or 40 of them is gonna be obsolete. Custom wings cockpits and landing gear bays are gonna be wayy more common place than before. But i genuinly think thats a step in the right direction. We will see more quality builds from people and thus setting the standerd even higher for what is considered a good build in the community.
Goodlord, this is amazing. I have never seen a smoother flight model in my life. Well done my man, this deserves every bit of posetive attention this is going to get.
@Jerba Actually, cameras weren't really that good back then. Not atleast take clear images from 5000m above the ground good atleast. It had to have used other "visual enhancement devices" to do the trick I believe. I havent found any sources saying how it actually did its recon missions but I have to assume the recon was somewhat dependent of visual reporting as well cause every other country had to rely heavyly on visual reportings by observers as well.
This is in a dire need of update

@RYMA232Aeronautics Its a surreal art piece by Salvador Dali, called Lobster Telephone
+2@Ultra0 thats what caused so much trouble in the last tournament and is probably the reason as to why they arent making another one.

+1I mean, it would have been atleast around 1500 parts in pre 1.11 sp so thats pretty neeto.
+1I was about to make a post appealing to add this plus A vizzy like system for a more in depth programming and an mfd like the ones in SR2.

+1(Btw nice plane)
@VChart that is a valid point. But meshing lean in and turn in together isnt ideal either. So a compromise had to be made.
+1@F104Deathtrap thanks mate :D
+1oh cool, A mobile home!
+1@BogdanX I have no idea if that's good or bad, but seeing the other builds I can safely assume I am not in the top 10 list lol
