@llDeadboyll Glad you liked it. Yes i do have a plan for modern carrier but will be very very long to finish bcause stuck on technical complication & spliting focus on other projects
Jundroo isn't a big company that have a lot of budget/team to fully support SP development. I mean SP can grow but not at a fast rate since last time they need to put effort into SPVR and they also need to split work on SR2.
I don't know how much sales this game can make. But from my POV 1st impression of SP, this game look like sketchy $5 low effort poorly designed Unity game.
At first I enjoy flying plane from other user build but not building my own plane. It's kinda more suited for veteran who already familiar with this game but hard for newbie. The tutorial is informative enough but for people who want to improve their build, they gotta seek help on SP forum or learn from others build. Maybe adding advanced tutorial section like building with fuselage part, XML & FT modding would help newcomer a bit. (Which no big deal since like most single player game, SP only make money when someone buy, not when played. Nonetheless, a happy costumer will tell a story. The community will keep provide contents)
But in the end, i think instead of update or making new SP2, Jundroo should unite SR2 & SP in 1 perfect game. Focus polishing this one united game with improved world, object physics, and most importantly the building mechanic. I have a lot of ideas for update but at this state i don't expect any will be implemented.
@TheHaggisBasher I don't post light build but you can remove the flight computer inside vertibird (use xray mode to find it). Then drag the detacher (it will move the enitre vertibird if cockpit already removed) move to sub assemblies. After that create new blank project, paste from sub assembly and add new flight computer/cokpit
@Kazin Idk for mobile but i think same as PC
Switch to flight control room camera. From original view position, look to your left/right. The button is big enough to be noticeable
Multiple cockpits mirror bug
@PhillipTarpley I have trouble when mirroring with multiple cockpit parts, the centerline isn't in the main cockpit but between the 2 cockpits (haven't tried with more than 2 cockpits).
For 1200 parts version: In the aft starboard side. Between the lifeboat & 40mm AA there's a crane and on top of it there's a block (you can see the shade). Delete that block and it will delete all the decorative aircraft on deck.
This is very very cool!
I was thinking the same thing using magnet and invisible layer deck for my wip carrier project but stuck, the wheels uncontrollable when taxiing and you figured it out simply by using vtol thruster.
Thanks for this 200iq solution i will credit you when i finished. Glad to have expert naval aviation shipbuilder here.
@Feve maybe the ship is too large. In that case, xml edit the buoyant parts, set the value of "massScale" higher.
It will make the parts weights more but also increase the buoyancy power.
@Griffon1 I'm not so good with FT coding but i was thinking how do the code know which axis x, y, or z being rotated? I think that your code was supposed for the rotator not the cannon.
For the rotator i use FT codes that i copy pasted from other build.
@Griffon1 For testing, i modified the cannon activationGroup xml with your FT like this:
(1)>(90)/360?((1)<(360)/360?1):0
My understanding is when i turn on ag1, it can't fire when facing 0-90 degree, else can fire (between 90-360)
But the problem it can't fire at all angle. Could you please correct me if i entered the FT wrong?
@Bismarcksurvivor100 If the speed is too low during take-off, the planes will flip at the end of runway and fall off with it's hope & dreams to the endless depth of ocean abyss never will see the light again.
Make sure the ship is moving forward at max speed (30kts) and the taking-off planes at 100% throttle. That works for me all the time, hope that helps!
@AnHNWhiteCornet I too couldn't figure it but all credits to @MikeWallace for the idea of infinity winch cable
Also i recommend try this cool original idea.

@llDeadboyll The closest builds i can recommend try this modernized midway or this type-002 cv

The custom rotors visually looks slow. Are there any way to increase the RPM?

Multiple cockpits mirror bug

Here's a simple test proof
Fix please.
@NathanMikeska Can you expand XML inputs? I want to make vapor trail on wing edge when the plane roll
Have a damn good day.
+1@DISHWASHER2005 It was named after a real battle of Bataan
+1Even a repair vehicle or tractor to help transport aircraft on ground. Full maintenance pack
+1Other than refueling, it's even possible to rearm bombs, torpedoes & unguided rockets.
@stevemc01 I don't play it.
@Lake 1k parts is very low for a ship build. But if that still laggy, try make it 0 drag by following this guide:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOi2djo8FNA
@Lake XML edit, set all cannons firingDelay to 0 expect 1 cannon for reload
+2@blamechan 😎👍
+1@BMilan Cool, i'm in.
Feel free to use these techs on your build. Crediting is up to you.
+1@PoiModder I saw your builds. I recommend try 3d model as reference for more detailed build. It also helps in size scaling.
+1@PoiModder @YamatoHotel stop calling aniki clevebroo

@Megani I already updated the guide with image. That should be easier to do for anyone who read description.
@YamatoHotel Each decorative plane have 40 parts. The flyable plane have 70 parts.
+1@Megani Easy. You can make it yourself.

@ArkRoyalTheBismarckhunter Thanks for the support. I'll consider that tips.

2 ways:
+11. Fuselage settings, set buoyancy 100
2. Or attach floater block (in gizmos section)

@Bismarcksurvivor100 I don't understand what you mean?
Every planes have 2 rotators inside for adding a bit realism when rolling in formation flight.
Very cool technology!
+1A little flaw, the ship capsized when hard turning. I suggest increase the gyro speed to keep stable.
@AnHNWhiteCornet I too couldn't figure it but all credits to @MikeWallace for the idea of infinity winch cable

@EchoVehicle Thanks for flashing i guess ;) ;)
@Jwpdaviesjr Thanks. I think almost a year but just registered SP community account recently
