Who is that beautiful witch with ashen hair fluttering in the wind? She who shines so brightly even the sun is squinting at her. That's right it's you Elaina!
Jundroo isn't a big company that have a lot of budget/team to fully support SP development. I mean SP can grow but not at a fast rate since last time they need to put effort into SPVR and they also need to split work on SR2.
I don't know how much sales this game can make. But from my POV 1st impression of SP, this game look like sketchy $5 low effort poorly designed Unity game.
At first I enjoy flying plane from other user build but not building my own plane. It's kinda more suited for veteran who already familiar with this game but hard for newbie. The tutorial is informative enough but for people who want to improve their build, they gotta seek help on SP forum or learn from others build. Maybe adding advanced tutorial section like building with fuselage part, XML & FT modding would help newcomer a bit. (Which no big deal since like most single player game, SP only make money when someone buy, not when played. Nonetheless, a happy costumer will tell a story. The community will keep provide contents)
But in the end, i think instead of update or making new SP2, Jundroo should unite SR2 & SP in 1 perfect game. Focus polishing this one united game with improved world, object physics, and most importantly the building mechanic. I have a lot of ideas for update but at this state i don't expect any will be implemented.
This is very very cool!
I was thinking the same thing using magnet and invisible layer deck for my wip carrier project but stuck, the wheels uncontrollable when taxiing and you figured it out simply by using vtol thruster.
Thanks for this 200iq solution i will credit you when i finished. Glad to have expert naval aviation shipbuilder here.
@Rob119WithA105mmHowitzer Use AND logic gate: (desired input) & (activation input). For example, Pitch & Activate1. This will disable Pitch unless Activate1 = true. Then other planes, change the activation input to other inputs like Activate2, Activate3, VTOL=1, etc.
Very cool concept. I think the detacher input would be activate if Fuel = 0 because fuel leak when shot. Also could be doubled with AND gate Input B: PitchRate or RollRate too fast when plane lost control
@karameji I liked it
This is the kind of music I gonna listen when adventuring an alien planet at night. Running in flowerfield with fireflies scattering around at every steps. Then laying on ground, gazing at the infinitely expanding universe full of stars with some colorful nebula cloud
@ZWLenning Sorry for necroposting. This is post appear on top on my search. In case i encounter same problem in the future and forgot the solution, much likely i'll find this post again. So it's more for myself but thanks for posting this easy to search question anyway
@Feve maybe the ship is too large. In that case, xml edit the buoyant parts, set the value of "massScale" higher.
It will make the parts weights more but also increase the buoyancy power.
@Griffon1 I'm not so good with FT coding but i was thinking how do the code know which axis x, y, or z being rotated? I think that your code was supposed for the rotator not the cannon.
For the rotator i use FT codes that i copy pasted from other build.
@AnHNWhiteCornet I too couldn't figure it but all credits to @MikeWallace for the idea of infinity winch cable
Also i recommend try this cool original idea.
@ivan6uy 1) You gotta set disableAircraftCollisions = false on aircraft parts that touch the deck (wheel usually) & deck surface parts. 2) In designer mode make sure no plane touch the deck (i usually move the plane a bit above from deck)
@llDeadboyll 1st make sure both deck & wheel partCollision is true. 2nd, landing gear may sunk because plane weight is affected by total ship weight. So just increase the suspension strength but that might become too bouncy
Personally i prefer resizable wheel because it won't sunk and more sleek moving on deck. The cons are more part counts and easily swept (require auto locking magnet)
Average SR2 fans getting name change vs average SP enjoyer not getting update for years
+19Amongus: Educational space game
+5Amongus collab when
真的很好,我试过的最好的f-35
+5@PoiModder @YamatoHotel stop calling aniki clevebroo
+4Do you have the DSM?
+3Ahh yes... Extra target practice

+2@LunarEclipseSP Red sun. Red sun over paradise
+2@beenz Good. That's one less loose end.. BANG
+2@Noplane I don't know about mobile. I think it's still the same controls just follow the undocking guide above

Welcome aboard initiates.
@Lake XML edit, set all cannons firingDelay to 0 expect 1 cannon for reload

+1Good lord papa Andrew hasn't abandoned us
+1@BismarckWWII Yeah always wanted to make that one. I have WIP Yorktown class hull but gonna take long to finish cause other projects
+1Change pylon/detacher activation group

+1no installation & no skill needed:

Have a damn good day.
+1@DISHWASHER2005 It was named after a real battle of Bataan
+1Even a repair vehicle or tractor to help transport aircraft on ground. Full maintenance pack
+1@blamechan 😎👍
+1@BMilan Cool, i'm in.
Feel free to use these techs on your build. Crediting is up to you.
+1@PoiModder I saw your builds. I recommend try 3d model as reference for more detailed build. It also helps in size scaling.
+1@YamatoHotel Each decorative plane have 40 parts. The flyable plane have 70 parts.
+1@Feve maybe the ship is too large. In that case, xml edit the buoyant parts, set the value of "massScale" higher.

2 ways:
+11. Fuselage settings, set buoyancy 100
2. Or attach floater block (in gizmos section)
@Tang0five speedrunning silver in 3 post.
+1@Griffon1 Anyway i thank you for your effort figuring this thingy.

+1Very cool technology!
+1A little flaw, the ship capsized when hard turning. I suggest increase the gyro speed to keep stable.
@AnHNWhiteCornet I too couldn't figure it but all credits to @MikeWallace for the idea of infinity winch cable
+1Also i recommend try this cool original idea.
I have similar one using variable to set ammo count
@ivan6uy The predecessor, North Carolina class.
@ivan6uy I guess only 30% done.
@PlaneFlightX sorry for ping but could you help me with this problem? I failed math.
*massive dopamine release
@ivan6uy I think you might need to increase ship weight or drag scaling. Currently i'm working on a USN Battleship but still far away from finished
@ivan6uy 1) You gotta set disableAircraftCollisions = false on aircraft parts that touch the deck (wheel usually) & deck surface parts. 2) In designer mode make sure no plane touch the deck (i usually move the plane a bit above from deck)
Earthian terrorist smasher
@Robomo119E Yeah just put credit
