And congratulations on the gaps for control surfaces, they look clean and very tight. It’s hard to get 3D printing tolerances that good, they can warp and expand
This looks great. My only suggestions are:
try and reduce the mass of the prop (the part that holds the blades) with lightening holes
Design the servos to stick out of the bottom of the wing, it’s far easier to keep laminar airflow over the bottom of the wing than trying to keep flow attached on the top
(and I sure hope those prop blades aren’t 3D printed)
Well made, the hover function works well, all other controls are fly on rails unrealistic. its never a good sign for a VTOL control system when its overtly gyro controlled, even if it is. Yaw feels unconvincing.
I'd love to see this control system revamped in a more well implemented manor for the type of flying we see in TESB where it feels more aerodynamically influenced than arcade style predicted
@THEOKPILOT Add More Rockets
@pippyquark You can use a mod to downscale this if you want to make one yourself
I will return for this
+3@jamesPLANESii understandable, have a great day
+2@TTL It did not start any other research into the topic as I had hoped and there didn't seem to be much interest in it
+1@TheTomatoLover fond memories for me too :)
+1There’s definitely been talk of SP2, but we have SR2 for now
+7I've been following this company, I live near there, very interesting
+1@WEREWOLFIMMORTAL I never finished it, but I can give you access to a recent version
+1@Planegai thank you! one of my favorite planes
@Bryan5 Fixed
+1T
A true masterpiece
+2It really is CubCrafters best @Dylan827
I’ve never seen a raptor with glossy paint
It says a lot that this is all I could find wrong with the plane
you have angered the dihedral gods
+1face my wrath
I am the dihedral gods
perfectly accurate replicas from the very beginning
+5backrooms item
I feel like this isn't 1:1 scale...
suspension is too loose and steering is too fast
other than that, this is great fun
Well this wasn’t recived well
+4I know, they stopped existing @brentisaac22
+1IKEA takeover
+8Simulate your senses
Thumbnails unclear, all I can see is tire.
+1This car is sick though
If you would like to help out with version 2, I would really appreciate it @MintLynx
+3the steering is as much as the balancing system could handle, it works by changing the balance set point to I think 10º left or right. @MintLynx
+5Inspirational
This post made my whole week.
+3Good to see you
-Chancey21
this is amazing though, you really pull out all the stops with every build
+1A low wing?
+1cring
lol @KipSqueaks
+1For the last time the P-61 is navy not black
+3This build is great otherwise though
It’s super fun to try and land them all
This is easily top five original designs on the site. I don’t say that lightly
+1Starship

lmk if you want help with the suspension
It doesn’t lift though… pretty sure the cybertruck has air suspension @realSavageMan
Also, offset your electric propulsion unit (I’m gonna assume you’re using electric propellers) with small springs to stop the jittering speed
Ah shoot, you wanted my help with this for something and I completely forgot what it was
Nudge up selected part by 10
+1Attach
Nudge down connected parts
Only if it has STOL runways
+3this will never get old
+4That would probably be alright @XAircraftManufacturer
+1I might make a Foxbat STOL
Deadline is too short
The challenge tag is not for challenge entries lol
