@Jetspeed1001 my basic layout involves a zero-weight infinite fuel block with 5 thrusters on the front,back, sides and bottom. Then I nudge a gyroscope on the exact CoM of the assembly.
@Jetspeed1001 I do visualize certain shapes, but I get it done by mashing huge blocks together instead of working on it section by section, to save me some time. Once I get the basic shape, I add smaller blocks to give it more detail. It's usually the turrets that give my builds insane part counts, as I tend to put lots of them along the ship's body.
@Jetspeed1001 Thank you! Very much appreciated. I don't use wings to make my ships fly, instead I use gyroscopes and engines along the x and y axis of the ship (z if I'd want more maneuverability). My build style is kinda hard to explain, but let's just say I mash togther random fuselage blocks and keep polishing and refining them to form a coherent shape ;). I often build randomly, but I would also look through concept arts for ideas
Will the resell prices be as high as the amount of upvotes this will get? Will this be a limited release? If so, how many downloads before this sells out? Lol
Welp, my 1000+ part-count spaceships fly like bricks, but they're fancy-looking spaceships, and they have functions aside from flying so yeah, or I'm in the wrong game for building such
@Seeras thank you! Why not? I'd really like to see reincarnations of my designs in other games, especially in games like Empyrion, Space Engineers or even Dual Universe.
Realistic spaceships? You got the ships from The Expanse, my friend. No jump drives, no energy shields, no fancy weapons. Just flying boxes strapped with 30mm miniguns, railguns and nukes. Their ships don't have windows nor overexposed bridges, as their CICs are buried deep beneath the ship's hull and they use sensors to "see" their enemies. Combat is pretty straightforward too. Enemy too far away? Throw some nukes! Too close? Fire up the railguns!
Nice work!
SIEG ZEON! Nice work!
+4That's no DeLacy! cross-universe action intensifies
flag raising intensifies
This would make a nice starfighter. Nice work!
@Diamondwolf you mean fly like an airplane? No can do.
@Jetspeed1001 you did something wrong. Check your mirroring
CIA: Leak anymore information and you will be taken down.
+1This looks great!
@SledDriver close enough
@Jetspeed1001 sure thing
Your builds are slowly evolving. Maybe you'll have released your first-ever super-smooth replica before this game dies? Time will tell.

Deep beneath layers of unlisted posts, I finally found the sauce...
+1Sweet

@Irobert55 you're taking the fictional tag waaaay too seriously mate

This finally got the remaster it deserves
+8FOR THE TENNO!
@goboygo1 thank you! Glad you noticed

+1@goboygo1 Thank you! Most of it, yeah. Dreadnought has some pretty interesting lore behind its ships.
@Z3RO thank you!
@Baldeagle086 @flyingsteve88 thank you!
@Baldeagle086 t Thanks! This is what became of that star destroyer.
@Gravity thank you!
I think it's the first time that I ever saw landing gears on your builds
Nice work!
@Simpleplaner656 I have more weapons in my posts
@Seeras thank you! Why not? I'd really like to see reincarnations of my designs in other games, especially in games like Empyrion, Space Engineers or even Dual Universe.
+1@CRJ900Pilot thanks!
@Tank6376 only to ships
@Tank6376 hmmmmmm
@bjac0 not your kind of party boat
@ThomasRoderick thank you!
@Baldeagle086 I put it aside for a moment. It's not really working out as a star destroyer-type ship so I may recycle ir for a future build.
@Treadmill103 thank you!
Nice work!
Decepticon fighter
Nice work! And you got some pretty interesting backstory to it too.
+1Welcome back!
@Aspire not a game, a tv series. I really suggest that you watch some of their space combat scenes so that you would really get what I mean.
@Figthepig56 I've seen better successor posts to my builds

What's with the paintjob?
@Simpleplaner656 thank you!
@Mijmaj there's only so many ways to blow other ships apart;
