@SpencerTreePuncher fuselage blocks do take a bit of time to master, but it pays off. Try downloading complicated planes and replicating their parts to get a hang of it. Also, since you are on iOS, and thus unable to edit xml files, feel free to steal edited pieces from my builds.
@Tessemi why wouldn't you provide some constructive criticism instead of being cynical? It's even in the rules: "If you are continually telling people their airplanes suck, then maybe you suck".
@xXRaindropXx it's a monarchy holding most of Africa and Southeast Europe. It owns all strategic resources and manufacturers of strategic goods and military equipment on its territory.
This is a very nice plane. Maneuverability seems slightly ahead of its time, and you didn't mod brake torque to prevent the nose digging in, but other than that, very nice build.
@Minecraftpoweer neither. To find difficult builds, you have to be more specific. For me, until recently, it was airliners and other large aircraft, since I didn't know how to make cockpits. As my latest upload shows, I have now mastered that too.
Ships could be called difficult because I have to stress my device to the limit if I want quality to match my rank. Still, techniques used are relatively simple most of the time.
@BrianAircraftsNew M.Corp provides backstory for all my creations. As such, it's both a manufacturer and a country. It keeps things simple. And it lets me annoy RP people every now and then :)
@Comradeairlines all devs and moderators are western. They probably wouldn't mind anything anti-communist. Also, I don't see how a flag can be offensive.
Very nice. Only thing I would edit is setting max deflection angle of elevators to around 27°. That way, you'll avoid elevator stall at max input. That problem is easy to miss on a mobile device, because you have on-screen controls. On PC, keyboard input makes it obvious.
I recommend using standard ground vehicle controls. That's pitch for acceleration and roll for turning. With throttle input, you don't have reverse, and yaw doesn't allow you to use partial input on PC.
It was removed due to how easy one could abuse it. Photoshopping a build to look better, putting pictures that don't correspond with the build,... Also, due to the fact that it's a big advantage for attracting users to check out your build, but would be unavailable to iOS users.
Better redesign the nose. Long nose on that kind of helicopter does pretty much nothing, but obstructs downward visibility. You need downward visibility to see what you are doing with your payload on skycranes.
This is a very nice build for your level, so, unlike the guys below, I'll give you a few advices to make 'em even better. You can make a custom landing gear retract with landingGear button if you set input to "landingGear" via Overload mod and hollow fuselage will look smoother if you let panels overlap. Also, I think you should invest into custom control surfaces. You can take apart some existing builds to see how.
@TheMutePaper my suggestion is to exploit new possibilities to the fullest. Remove all drag and add artificial drag by using a single fuselage block with drag enabled. Hide actual flaps inside the nose, and add more wings inside the visible ones. Also, with far less drag, you'll need weaker engines for realistic speed, allowing for realistic acceleration and climb rate.
Very well done. Easy to fly, and even my laptop can run it. Performance are close to what I would expect from an airliner. Windows and logo could be nudged a bit closer to the fuselage in some places, but it's not much of a problem on a plane as big as this one.
Welcome to the community. Read the rules here. You will gain points (the number in the white square next to your username). One "Upvote" on a plane you upload brings 15 points, and an upvote on the forum post brings 2 points. Once you reach 100 points, your point field (currently white) will turn bronze, at 1000 points silver, at 5000 gold, and black (we call it platinum) at 25000 points. To tag a person in the comment, put "@" in front of their username, or hit the "Reply" button on their comment (ex: @RANDOM2000). This will send notification to the person you mentioned.
Don't spam low quality planes. If it doesn't fly (or do whatever it's supposed to do), don't upload it. Put effort into every build. There are many tricks ingame tutorial won't show you. You can learn them by taking apart planes already uploaded to the site. If you don't understand how something works, feel free to ask. You are also not restricted to planes. People have made ships, tanks, cars, trucks, trains, dragons, spaceships...
Be sure to respect other users. Swearing, insulting other users, discriminating, or posting sexually suggestive material can get you banned. Users with red point boxes are moderators. If you have a problem with anyone, talk to them. If you have a problem with building, talk to one of the users whose builds you like. The more experienced they are, bigger the chance they can help you. If you have a problem with the game itself, seek users with blue point boxes. They are developers of the game, and they will take note of the problem you are having and probably fix it in the next update.
I wish you a happy stay in the SimplePlanes community, and a lot of points.
People are "jerks" if you let them be that, and if they have a cause to be. Many people complain about other people here, but those other people also complain about those accusing them. If you aren't a jerk, you won't have any trouble with jerks. Just learn the art of conversation.
I suggest you try to talk some sense into him. Life goes on, and he needs a small push to finish school. We all have tragedies, misfortunes, bad runs... the trick is to get up again when something knocks you down.
@Hawkeye156 I have experimented with better suspensions. Unfortunately, they have proven worse in the field, not giving satisfactory performance. What I mean with my previous comment is: you don't need the round part under the front end of the boat. Fast boats have sharp fronts to cut through water. Only big and slow ships need that part to negate some drag.
@Chancey21 lol. Enjoy.
+2@BogdanX you have a featured build on your challenge :)
+2@EnderSharky no problem.
+2@DerekSP Andrew asked me if I wanna moderate. I said "yes", and became a mod.

+2You should try experimenting with fuselage blocks and nudging. Getting smoother shapes and stuff. Still, this is an interesting design.
+2@Hyattorama I'm glad you did eventually use them.
+2Very nice. Use tags.
+2@xXRaindropXx it's a monarchy holding most of Africa and Southeast Europe. It owns all strategic resources and manufacturers of strategic goods and military equipment on its territory.
+2Mention history of this example to justify the livery please. Great build.
+2@marcox43 @Potato21 @DuckMintnewprofile thanks.

@Tully2001 nope. Pink is the most annoying color known to man.
+2@havoc it doesn't happen on my computer. It did when I tried to have actual suspension.
+2@BrianAircraftsNew M.Corp provides backstory for all my creations. As such, it's both a manufacturer and a country. It keeps things simple. And it lets me annoy RP people every now and then :)
+2It's a bit rough in some places, especially around doors. Other than that, excellent build.

+2@Ethological why don't you put a gun on the piece of structural panel, scale the panel down using Fine Tuner, and then use that as a subassembly?
+2@FastDan you don't need app. All you need is imgur.com and markdown.
+2Here's my copy-paste tips comment:

+2The end of that description is, indeed, a derping meme. Nice build.

+2Interesting idea.
+2If Jundroo took their time to read all of this when they were making SP, we'd have much better airport experience.
+2WNP discovered that ages ago. I have used it on a few builds to reduce apparent drag, but never as propulsion.
+2UnstableOrbit. Now there's one I haven't heard of in a while.
+2@Chancey21 no problem. I like overkills, and these wheels definitely are one.
