@CaptainBrayden it was meant to be a kind of reference to the Korean Air Lines flight 007 where a pair of soviet su-15 (one of the influences of this plane) intercepted and shot down a civilian 747 thinking it was a u.s. spy plane.
@winterro If you're referring to the 3d printer, it belongs to a friend of mine and I don't really know all that much about 3d printers in general... but I will let him know...
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 My friend's printer is a Creality CR-10S Pro V2. Though to be honest it's not the best option for these kind of prints. It tends to have difficulties in small intricate details. Would recommend a resin printer
@ares01 i wish to say yes, but this would be a huge project. It is not in the foreseeable future I'm afraid. I did a vr-version of the microfighter not too long ago.. that that's a start..
@Rb2h It's a concept design. I built it simple before going on full scale building to see if I like it, or I should change any particular concepts. I have come to 2 final designs from it, so stay tuned! :)
@Narty42011 I skipped a few details which can easily be fixed for the wobbliness, but I'm unable to replicate the self-destruct problems. I mostly built this as a prototype and I might build a more detailed version of this in the future.
@Rb2h It's a concept design. I built it simple before going on full scale building to see if I like it, or I should change any particular concepts. I am currently building a more detailed design of it, and there have been many changes done so far... Just gathering input..
@OkaNieba Thanks for the input. I tried giving it a single engine but I didn't like the layout of it. Perhaps you'd like to share a redesign of it? I'd be more than happy to try it out!
@Stephengraffam221022222
Longer than it should have haha xD.
It's mostly a copy and paste thing, but it kept exploding everytime the plane spawned. But once i found the best height and right positioning, it worked :)
@hpgbproductions I would take your original design from the drawing you made and rebuild it from there; extend the Gear bays to act as sea floats and fold the wings, to design a Car - Sea - Plane trio design
@Ded The closest that ever got to their requirements was the F-16 at the beginning of the testing phase, as it was a literal flying acrobat, and was very lightly packed. It was later added with the necessary components to reach the requirements of the USAF. The Fighter Mafia considered it to be the closest to a successful design, despite the compromise of the additions.
From a U.S. perspective, I think the F-20 Tigershark would have been a close competitor though as it would have reduced engine maintenance costs in comparison to the F-5 Tiger... But that's a personal hunch.
@TheSonOfThunder There is no limit to engines, however keep in mind that one of the fighter mafia principles is that the plane must be cheap to mass produce.
Very good attempt!
+1@Chancey21 Thanks :) Enjoy flying, very smooth!
+1@DimitriIqbal91 Would be awesome to see more people try it out! It's the closest you're gonna get to a table-top model of your very own design!

@CaptainBrayden Will make an unlisted chat
@CaptainBrayden Sure, Got discord? You kind find me in some Simpleplanes discord servers

@SukhoiSu25 no problem, feel free. just @ me in the comments :)
@SukhoiSu25 by all means! go ahead!
just @ me in the comments

very good take on the Convair Model 200!!
i had this vtol system in the back of my head for a while. Good job!!
Reminds me of the planes in the game "ysflight".
Keep up the good work :)
Very interesting design! good job!
Too bad you applied for the challenge late :(
CONGRATULATIONS - THIS CREATION IS THIRD PLACE IN THE Complete my plane Challenge!!
THIS COMPETITION IS CLOSED. HOWEVER YOU ARE STILL WELCOME TO TRY!
The plane's awesome, but I got to say; GB-500 bombs are amazing!! Keep up the good work!!
@FOXHOUND26 yes, you may. Rules will be amended..
@ares01 i wish to say yes, but this would be a huge project. It is not in the foreseeable future I'm afraid. I did a vr-version of the microfighter not too long ago.. that that's a start..
Handles rather well, but sadly it will be disqualified from the Challenge:
You are NOT allowed to modify the engines and cannon in any shape or form. You will be disqualfied for doing so.
You are welcome to try a different design if you wish

@winterro
Saw your post on walkers, would appreciate the help here.

Seems to be sorted now
Thanks @WNP78 for your reply :)
My anti-virus went crazy for a moment when I launched the Beta, But works fine for now...
@Rb2h bingo - uploading the 2nd prototype soon. Will tag you if you wish

@Rb2h I agree, currently working on a rework. Any suggestions on how you would fix it?

Pls credit the original nose area
Great work! Built this multiple times myself, it's a pretty cool project!
Wish to see more 747 with these parasite fighters though...
Very well done! I tried my luck with this before but I didn't complete it
Totally not a J-8 II finback xD
Jokes aside, great build :)

Gorgeous design!!! Keep up the good work!
It reminds me a bit of the concepts of a flying car, particularly this design of an amphibious flying car
Would you allow me to rebuild this?
@IAmMeObviously They're inside the body parts that make the stabalizers. Non-the-less, you're gonna need to build that from scratch...
Good job and well thought out proof-of-concept! I have noted and scored your submission. I will release the score when the deadline has passed.
Very interesting design! Even though I couldn't get it to VTOL properly...
I hope to see this refined in your future builds! :)
RULES UPDATED 17-FEB-2023
Change in a few rules
Change in scoring system
Change in rewards
Is this your submission for This challenge ?
Because I was not tagged for it...
@Geekpride Yes, however if you both your entries finish in the top 3, you will be rewarded as per the highest scored aircraft.

@teddyone02 It's a hybrid of a F-32 main body / F-16 cockipit and engine and Eurofighter typhoon wings
@Australianbulider676 What do you mean?
Some details of this plane need to be fixed, but because it is curated, I'm unable to.
@SPairforce glad you liked it! Was originally inspired by this kitmashed model
@FirstFish83828 F-32 main fuselage, F-16 nose and engine and Eurofighter wings
