You'd use the link below for a bunch of variables hooked up to different switches, then write a Funky Trees input to check for the right combination of switches
I was going to rank every single one of my airplanes but I have so many designs it would be a four page long comment. Instead I'll just put my top 5 original designs. This will only be airplanes.
1)
The AF-13 Wolfhound
A High performance superplane that I put month of time into and is both my most recent post and the current reflection of my skill.
2)
The AF-12 Werewolf
Also a superfighter, This one took SIX months to do but its very unrefined as I didnt even know if I wanted to post this.
3)
The AF-09 / Project 8127
It's a very fast but very niche airplane that, for some reason I just grew attached to.
The AF-09 and Project 8127 are pretty much the same thing, the AF-09 is just remastered and reworked to the at-the-time current standard)
4)
The AF-05 / Project 8123 Razorwing
A futuristic plane which looks like a spear head. I really think it got shoved under the radar.
(Same deal here with the project number, theyre the same plane.)
"Cockpit instruments are in Freedom Units"
- Me on my recent builds
or
"I dont know if anyone reads this but here we go"
- Was in my bio until recently
Pick your favorite.
For a first plane this is really well made!
The shape is refined, no awkward angles, the landing gear looks good, the canopy really looks the part, and the controls are nice and simple.
I will watch your career with great interest
@ReinMcDeer Ive been trying to find a way to do that but I havent found a way. this is also the issue with the roll axis. I dunno I've tried to look and havent found anything
I decided to try and build mechanisms for a cockpit hologram similar to that found on the XFA-33 Fenrir. No particular reason I just felt like seeing if I could do it.
What the hologram does is show the position of your aircraft in 3D space. like if someone put tiny plane with orbit camera in the cockpit.
I had to rip out all the COFFIN panels on the test plane to do it though, but it works.
I'm aware it looks sort of strange given the outside visual cues of the cockpit but there's some application to this I promise
In practicality I would replace the current arrow looking thing with a miniature model of the aircraft.
@WolfHunter9111 what if I told you it's been done? COFFIN Mk. 1
(It still has a lot of polish to do and the airplane is not included. More of a proof of concept than anything else)
1) I feel like its explained well enough in the dialogue, even though, while cool, the Darkstar scene was very unrealistic
2) yeah
3) Im pretty sure it "stalled" from loss of control and not an actual stall (Also Im pretty sure its G-LOC, for "loss of consciousness")
4) well then we wouldnt have a major plot device, would we? The Su-57 keeps getting mentioned as this looming threat and if they never showed up then that would be kinda stupid froma plot perspective (but that aside how did the bad guys even get Su-57s?)
5) yeah 2
6) Yeah not realistic at all if this was realistic the Navy would have been flying F-35s. You know. Also 5th generation jets.
7) Da bomb wit no pod (I dunno oversight probably)
I build thing is small periods unless Im strangely motivated to make something for some reason, and as a result a lot of my higher quality stuff takes months real time to complete.
but recently I've been toying with the possibilities of Funky Trees functions seeing what kind of crazy stuff I can make.
(as Im writing this I'm toying with a counting system via buttons and such)
Im working on another AF-09 remaster since its like a favorite child to me
Update: I found out how to do it without crashing but it involves babysitting the throttles and that's not very entertaining to watch.
If only we had a replay tool.
@Rocketguy2079 And I mean manual transmissions are finicky to get working in SP, especially in a way that is comfortable to use. The build I stole the code from used the VTOL slider as the shifter but I was having issues up and downshifting appropriately
@SteamPunkPilot
posted as requested. feel free to pick it apart and if you manage to make sense of it and improve the coding and such, I'd love to see the result of it
Apologies for the earlier post, I wasn't sure if that version had the correct audio.
Regardless, this is a demonstration of my T-180 chassis and what it can do.
This vehicle uses that exact chassis just with an actual body, so that chassis performs effectively the same.
The body is question is car #84, sponsored by Ascendancy Cybernetics LLC.
The chassis can be found here

I'd really like the whole thing with the VTOL nozzles, than I could make more sophisticated effects for wing vapor and stuff
+1I know next to nothing about MacOS, so Im afraid this is outside my area of expertise
Well its mostly a lot of common sense, like how "Pitch+Roll" will quite expectedly add pitch and roll inputs, so you'll get the hang of it.
@Red920 Unfortunately nah. I would have if I knew how modding worked, the biggest hurdle for me is fcking texture unwrapping. Otherwise I'd do it.
+1It might be, considering how much of an important port city it seems to be
I remember YS. Havent touched it in forever though. I was a killer Rafale pilot but couldnt gun for shit.

This ones got a railgun! what more could you want?

It's -30 with the wind chill by me.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Midwest.
I don't think you can. Why?
+1Airacobra = upvote
Swept wing biplane lmao
Now that I think of it
This would be nice as a target direction indicator.
I am a simple man. I see Airacobra, I upvote.
@IceCraftGaming
+1lmao
Amateur hour. Ive been here for 4.3
+1looking for design concepts? Here's a few that should get the creative juices flowing:
I would put different types of thrust vectoring, but those require some setup.
@ReinMcDeer Ive been trying to find a way to do that but I havent found a way. this is also the issue with the roll axis. I dunno I've tried to look and havent found anything
+1It'S a WeAPoN oF WaR
@FirstFish83828 shit beat me to it
I'll use it to tweak my graphics card settings
if the video will freaking work

@SpartanSR91 isnt the point of a race car though to be fast?
Tempted to reuse the cockpit/nose section for a new aircraft...

My thoughts and prayers for those effected by this incident
+2no PLSL for the SP weapon?
+2sorry bout the letter vomit title
@Hii yeah I dont think I ever mentioned Griffon 3 as a character untill now, and Griffon 1 (character) is canonically dead
+1arent those F-14 intakes?
The wonders of individual throttle control
Im working on another AF-09 remaster since its like a favorite child to me

Better than mine

+1@SpartanSR91 I mean it's slower than your model, but my goal is to make it easy to approach
@DatRoadTrainGuy19
