  • HOW TO LIMIT G-FORCE? one month ago

    Pitch*0.5+Pitch*smooth(clamp01(VerticalG<7)*clamp01(VerticalG>-3.5),1)*0.5
Try this formula, it uses only the vertical component and turns off only half of the input at maximum overload, This significantly improves stability.
You can increase the multiplier of the first term (currently set to 0.5) and decrease the multiplier of the second term (0.5 too) to improve stability.
    or
you can reduce the first multiplier and increase the second one for a more stringent limit.
    Important
The sum of the multipliers must be equal to 1 (for the output to be complete)

Tested on an airplane "Wasp (Simple)".

It's just crazy. It starts from 0 to 100km/h in 3 seconds!

  • realistic car interior (update 1) 1.2 years ago

I'm going to create a chassis for this car, and I can make an ESC system without using a gyroscope, a suspension with adjustable clearance and different driving modes. But I have serious problems with creating a design for this car

Hi, I suggest putting input on the tachometer: smooth(clamp01(Rpm1/500)*clamp01(Pitch)+clamp01(-Pitch),0.5)

  • SimplePlanes 2 FAQ one month ago

@LowtusF139 In fact, it is already possible to create skid assistance systems, the wheel already has the right set of "sensors" (side slide and front slide), you can find them in the variables of these parts. The ABS system can be quite problematic, since the "Brake" input cannot be controlled by programming. This problem can be solved by braking the engine (I may post these systems soon) . Sorry for the huge amount of text

  • Explain? (Solved) 7 months ago

you have reduced the mass of each part of the airframe to zero so it moves like )

    Cool work!

  • Oblivion Bubbleship 1.6 years ago

@Verdugo at the heart of this ship is supposedly cold fusion, but since it was produced not on earth, we can guess how it is produced

  • Edge of Tomorrow VTOL 1.6 years ago

Do you mind if I refine the functionality and control of this ship?

  • Edge of Tomorrow VTOL 1.6 years ago

Excellent, the best design on the site, but there is not much functionality, and I wanted it to be able to rotate freely, or use a gyroscope only during takeoff

  • Oblivion Bubbleship 1.6 years ago

@MobileGamer21 Oh, I remembered that I asked you to do this. And you said that it would not be mobile, I want to say again that your aircraft is very cool

  • Oblivion Bubbleship 1.6 years ago

@MobileGamer21 I looked, really really waited for this aircraft on the site, but the main photo and your nickname cause a little suspicion👀

  • Oblivion Bubbleship 1.6 years ago

    @SilverStar OK, no problem

  • GryphonLander 1.8 years ago

@SilverStar Hi, thanks for the remark, all control on all axes except yaw occurs with the help of engine thrust adjusted for rotation speed. I posted this model for revision on a PC so that there are no problems with files. For braking and moving forward, use VTOL

  • Funky Trees! 1.9 years ago

@ThatMG393 use a RollAngle or PitchAngle depending on its location and divide by the degree measure of the rotor

  • Russian Ka 52 2.6 years ago

You don't mind if I modify your model? I just know how to do yaw, pitch, roll on models of a twin-screw design

    @CheetoPumkinEater1 while I took the program from P 51 D

  • GR800TP 2.6 years ago

Yes, I tried to reduce the speed of the flaps, it didn't help. When cleaning the chassis, it works, but when it is straightened, it does not, @CheetoPumkinEater1

  • GR800TP 2.6 years ago

@CheetoPumkinEater1 Well, I mean that the wheels crash into the chassis flaps

  • GR800TP 2.6 years ago

@CheetoPumkinEater1 the bottom line is that I do not know the command to delay the movement of the landing gear flaps

  • GR800TP 2.6 years ago

@CheetoPumkinEater1 Okay, perhaps this is one of the few disadvantages of my aircraft

  • AIRBUS Concept 2.0 2.7 years ago

  • Drone 166 2.8 years ago

wow, cool design, you copied the details very accurately. I'm starting to develop an updated drone (without wings for a quick stop). And no auxiliary engines, only VTOL engines. I already have a drone with altitude hold, no wings and no auxiliary power units. It remains to finalize only a couple of details.
