Oh yeah haha totally!! It’s such a cool plane. I’ve learned a couple tricks since then and I always wanted to do a little something more with it haha. @ACEPILOT109
Ok. Well on the beacon light part, you can program the flash pattern. I can’t remember the name of the field you change atm, but the values for the flash pattern is written in seconds, like [1,1] would be a simple one second on, one second off. And [1,2,3,4,5,6] would be one second on, two seconds off, three seconds on, etc. And at the end of the string of values, the pattern starts over. So for each of the seven beacon lights in each of the seconds place, ten seconds place, minutes place, and ten minutes place in the counter, there’s a different program written specifically for the position of each beacon light in each place, it flashes out every second between 00:00 and 59:59. The timing of the programming in the game isn’t perfect, so the digits start to get out of sync after a minute or two, so first the seconds place goes wrong, then the ten seconds place goes wrong and so on and eventually it’s all just a garbled mess. But it’s still quite an impressive SP invention/design if you ask me :)
@OrangeBoardEnterprise
The timer was built by @BaconAircraft. But I understand the process. Have you used the Overload mod? The description of how it’s done would make more sense if you’re familiar with Overload.
@OrangeBoardEnterprise
Maybe cause it comes pre-loaded on the game? That sentence sounds sarcastic but that is actually my guess not a snarky remark. @AnelGaming
Edit: actually I don’t know cause it is slightly different than the one that came pre-loaded (at least for me). Maybe it depends on when you bought the game or something.
Haha yes, I overdid it on the description, it is super long and I am sorry about that. Just got a little over-enthusiastic, y’know lol. But if you did actually read it all, that is very cool of you, thank you for your time and attention :)
@Diloph
I don’t believe @jamesPLANESii was implying that you didn’t know about the Draco or that you’re not an aviation enthusiast, I think he was just reinforcing the fact that it is such a cool and iconic plane
@PlaneCreator1
Absolutely, thanks for your help! I fear however, that because the description is so long and your plug is at the bottom, it might not generate much traffic :/
Oh well. Anyway, I’ll be looking forward to checking out where you are on the Aerobus!
@tylerdeveneuxmusic
There’s jet engines (scaled down in size and mass) attached to the elevators and rudder that provide thrust in a way that acts similar to real prop wash. There is also another jet engine that is facing backward, and has the same thrust as all the other engines, to make the net thrust zero. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty cool haha. If you take apart the tail section of the plane you’ll see how it’s laid out. Also, it’s not my invention. I don’t know who designed the system, but @jamesPLANESii and @Chancey21 taught me how to do it so maybe it was one of them.
@ZHUAREVONI
Thanks a bunch man! And I’ll tell you why you like planes that have visible engines. It’s cause engines are sexy! Lol
Thank you for the praise and feedback, it is very much appreciated.
Now, as for the Draco:
Yes, the Draco is a very very incredibly cool badass STOL Bush plane. So I have some good news for you and some bad news. The bad news is that I will not be building the Draco. The good news is that it has already been build by a more skilled and more experienced builder than myself. Once again, it is @jamesPLANESii, whose DC-3 I mentioned to you earlier. So yeah his Draco is as good or better anyone on the site could do. So go check it out here.
All that being said, thank you for making building requests, and hopefully someday I’ll be able to actually build one lol.
Haha awesome! I’m so glad you like it. It truly was a beautiful plane, I’d love to see one irl. But I don’t even know if any of them exist anymore. I mean, there’s surely at least one in a museum. Anyway, all those Schneider Cup Racers are super cool. Thank you for your comments and feedback!
@PlaneCreator1
Oh haha gotcha. Yeah the DC-3 is a very cool plane. I’m not sure I could build it though... I mean I’ve never built a plane that size... I guess maybe that’s something for me to aspire to. However, @jamesPLANESii did build a DC-3. You can check it out here. It’s a rather old build, but still very good. It would be easy to modify it to make it more chrome-y :)
@PlaneCreator1
Thanks man! Yeah, I’m sorry about the random exploding. Ever since the 1.8 update, several of my planes are doing that. I can definitely fix it, but I haven’t gotten around to it, since there’s a lot of things that could do with an update and I don’t have as much time for SP as I did last year :(
Anyway thank you for the compliment, I am really happy that you like my plane! If it’s something you really want, I can update this plane, at the very least so that it stops exploding. Let me know.
Yeah I’ve heard of War Thunder, haven’t played it but it sounds really cool!
Hey man,
Thanks for your suggestion! Can you be a little more specific about the chrome twin prop? A lot of different planes could fall under that description.
And as for your profile pic, I’m not totally sure exactly which plane that is, but I’m pretty sure it is a Schneider Cup racer. And I did build one of those, the Macchi M.C. 72, which you can check out here. Thanks for your interest!
Well it’s an old build actually, just wanted to do a little updating since I can’t seem to muster the gumption to do a full on build lately lol
@AerialFighterSnakes
Yess, I agree; the comics may not align to everyone’s sense of humor, (which is a near impossible task anyway) but they are a positive contribution to the forum. @CrashFighter05 @Awsomur @ChiyomiAnzai
Awesome build as usual:)
Cool!
+1Yeah I changed the descriptions on the other builds. So I guess it’s okay..
@BaconAircraft
Oh yeah haha totally!! It’s such a cool plane. I’ve learned a couple tricks since then and I always wanted to do a little something more with it haha. @ACEPILOT109
Do I need to contact him?
@BaconAircraft
Oops that sucks I have a few descriptions to change lol thanks for telling me @BaconAircraft
Idk like five mins?
@OrangeBoardEnterprise

+1Wow cool!!
If you have any ultralights in mind that you want to see made, it probably more likely that I will be able to build it.
Oh right I saw that on discord. Well that saves me the trouble of doing a crappier job lol. @PlaneCreator1 @jamesPLANESii
Haha yes, I overdid it on the description, it is super long and I am sorry about that. Just got a little over-enthusiastic, y’know lol. But if you did actually read it all, that is very cool of you, thank you for your time and attention :)

I am not familiar with the Trent Palmers Bush plane, I will go check it out! @PlaneCreator1
I don’t believe @jamesPLANESii was implying that you didn’t know about the Draco or that you’re not an aviation enthusiast, I think he was just reinforcing the fact that it is such a cool and iconic plane
@PlaneCreator1
Haha yes my sentiments exactly :) also thank you for your help, I never seem to get tired of using your awesome ADI lol
@ChiChiWerx
It certainly is what you might call a benchmark. Thanks for the spotlight :)
@jamesPLANESii

Haha exactly! And therein lies, imo, the true beauty of ultralights!
Thanks man :)
@AWESOMENESS360
Thank you so much! Low and slow baby, that’s how I do it lol.
But seriously though I really appreciate your comment, thank you :)
@Viper3000ad
Thanks man that’s very kind of you! Hopefully I will be able to continue to produce :)
@AerialFighterSnakes
Thank you that is quite a compliment! :)
@Simplemike
Lol thanks man :)
+1Those mods sure are nice chaps! ;) ;)
@Wr25
@RailfanEthan @Chancey21
Thanks guys! :)
Thanks man :)
@ChiyomiAnzai
Ah I see lol. Prolly why I don’t know them
@Gameboi14
Well I’m familiar with all the Fallout stuff but I don’t know the other two references. @Gameboi14
+1Lol that went over my head
+1“My mouth is so dry I can’t close it” was my favorite thing. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
+2Thanks man! Yeah, I’m sorry about the random exploding. Ever since the 1.8 update, several of my planes are doing that. I can definitely fix it, but I haven’t gotten around to it, since there’s a lot of things that could do with an update and I don’t have as much time for SP as I did last year :(

Lol this is a good one I love it
Good job buddy

@AerialFighterSnakes
Lol good man A+
+1Lol cool. But if the comic is not turned in by tomorrow you will get an F on the project!!
+1Yess, I agree; the comics may not align to everyone’s sense of humor, (which is a near impossible task anyway) but they are a positive contribution to the forum. @CrashFighter05 @Awsomur @ChiyomiAnzai
+1Awww precious! Lol
+1Awesome!
+1Haha what a great show that was. @NicePlanes
Lol well put @NicePlanes
Ok well at least I’m not crazy so that’s good lol. @NicePlanes
