@teodor99 It would have been at the back if sp required engines. It would have been smaller, since it's liquid cooled, but to offset the weight difference I went with a fuel tank instead for more range

  • DAC-F1 1.1 years ago

@SchweizerLuftCorporation are you saying the canopy lever?

  • SI-10 A-1 "Sharpe" 1.1 years ago

Very Nice, especially the landing gear.

  • DAC-F1 1.1 years ago

@SchweizerLuftCorporation Also, I looked into some of your posts, and if you want realistic power/weight ratios with high speeds for jets, set fuselage drag to 0, specifically with wings. The drag with jets is strange in this game. Props are fine, but jets don't work with high drag.

Is anyone else having problems downloading this? Please let me know so hopefully I can get it fixed!

  • DAC-F1 1.1 years ago

@SchweizerLuftCorporation Thanks! I'm sorry you couldn't download it. I didn't mod this plane, so I don't know what part would cause the problem. Also, the wing tips were my choice. I wanted to have clipped wings, mostly cuz I think they look best with this type of pusher config. And I'll keep updating this, first with the gear bay.

    @FalHartIndustries Thank You!

If you want to fix the issue of it not turning easily, just take the hinge rotators and limit them to 10-15 degrees of range

  • Consolidated PBY-5A Catalina 1.1 years ago

Very Cool. No matter what, you never cease to amaze me with how incredible your builds are with how few parts they use. 348 parts for this is incredible

  • HWJ1-B 1.1 years ago

@HWconpany6 Honestly, most people, including myself, need to work on wings the most, but yours look incredible, and could probably focus a little more on the fuselage

  • HWJ1-B 1.1 years ago

Very Good job on the wings

  • simple Messerschmitt Bf-110 C-2 1.1 years ago

Quick tip: If you don't add any special detailing, like cockpits or fuselage wings, you should probably add a "simple" in the title, just so people don't think you're a five year old. It might help you get more downloads. Overall it looks really good

  • Pratt and Whitney engine for sale! 1.2 years ago

@LucadaConcord1128 Yeah dude this is an exact copy of a different engine. stop begging for upvotes acting like you did something when you can go out and make your own build. It's not cool, it's called theft, and you could get banned for that

  • DAC-3 Wolverine 1.2 years ago

    @SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore Thank you!

  • DAC-3 Wolverine 1.2 years ago

@Hahahahaahahshs i meant like, what are the benefits

  • DAC-3 Wolverine 1.2 years ago

@Hahahahaahahshs what exactly does that do?

  • DAC-3 Wolverine 1.2 years ago

@Hahahahaahahshs how do u use magnets for engines? I haven't heard of it b4

  • DAC-3 Wolverine 1.2 years ago

@Hahahahaahahshs First off, thanks for upvoting, second, what would you like to see for changes?

  • DAC-3 Wolverine 1.2 years ago

    @Doyoucares thanks for the upvote

  • P-89 Saber 1.2 years ago

@ShiraMakesAircraft make sure the prop torque is in the game. If so, it might be that

  • Hitler's Plane 1.2 years ago

@TheAviator77 I think the only dude that would get offended by this is the man himself, Hitler

  • droplept 1.2 years ago

@ComradeInCommune Just report him the entire post is a copy paste of the original droplet

  • P-89 Saber 1.2 years ago

@ShiraMakesAircraft Could be weight distribution, one wing is slightly larger than the other, or prop torque, but I don't know if prop torque is modeled in the game

  • F-15A 1.2 years ago

@blapper ur welcome! I've been doing it a lot recently and every plane is getting more and more realistic.

  • F-15A 1.2 years ago

Hey-First off, really great build, although I can't download it rn, and, second, if you want ultra-realistic performance, set the drag to all fuselage blocks, intakes, and wheels to 0 in xml, then 0 for any parts that create major drag. you can then set engine power to be realistic, and it will feel really good. Also, if you want afterburners, there's a really good Walv!s video for it

  • DAC-21 G-2 1.2 years ago

Also I will make a mod-free version for non-pc players

  • No Blueprint Challenge 1.2 years ago

I was super confused when I saw this and the other corsair, and I thought maybe you stole the other guy's build, but nope- the power/weight is way different, and you have less parts

  • B-29 SuperFortress 1.2 years ago

@BarnettAircraftCompany Don't worry I reported all of "his" builds

  • Warthunder Challenge! (CLOSED!) 1.2 years ago

@TheCommentaryGuy I have F-22 blueprints. Just measurements, nothing crazy

  • MiG-9 1.2 years ago

Great Job, all I can say. It's... incredible

  • L2 1.2 years ago

wow you added 5 parts to a build that isn't yours

  • Aero Boero AB-180RVR 1.2 years ago

I'm sorry I can't download this rn, but how the heck did you make it look so good WITH ONLY 104 PARTS?!?!? SORCERER!

  • P-38 1.2 years ago

@GoldenAviationYT Np. The reason to use 0 drag is because the physics of simpleplanes is really weird, so it leads to a lot more drag than normal, and using 0 means less engine power leading to more realistic planes. the blueprints can be found by clicking on the eye on the sidebar and selecting what looks like a map. you can upload pictures from there

  • P-38 1.2 years ago

few tips-use fuselage blocks for pretty much everything, and make sure to set the drag of each fuselage block to 0, using xml. work on custom cockpits and landing gear, as they are pretty simple and help a lot. Finally, you can use blueprints if you want it to be as close to the plane as possible.

  • XF-15 1.2 years ago

Also one tip for more realistic planes. When usijng fuselage blocks, set their drag to 0 in the xml file and only have the wings produce drag. This allows you to use a less powerful engine which gives a more realistic power/weight

  • XF-15 1.2 years ago

Looks like a decent plane. Can't download it now, but will try to if I remember later

  • Mig21 1.3 years ago

Actually now that I look at it, there are prototypes with swept wings

  • Mig21 1.3 years ago

Quick note, you know the Mig-21 was a delta wing, right? It didn't have swept wings

  • F16C-52 1.3 years ago

What phone are you on, my guy? my phone would explode if i had this many parts.

  • DAC-21 D "Birdbunk" Supersonic Multi-role Aircraft. 1.3 years ago

Thanks to @LuminoxBiotechCompany for the free HUD design

  • A-8 Crusader 1.3 years ago

it looks really good. if the canopy moved forward a little, it might look better, but overall it's really good

  • 5 HUD Pack 1.3 years ago

Hey bro, just used one of these on my plane. You can check it out if you want.

  • DAC-21 B-3 "Birdbunk" 1.3 years ago

Also, feel free to add any suggestions for future features on variations of this.

  • DAC-21 1.3 years ago

Also, I will be updating it and adding different variants. I will try to make one with custom missiles, and a more detailed interior. That, and I think it would be cool to add a functioning nose cone as well as more guns. Will post more when available.

  • F8U-V 1.5 years ago

@Majakalona yeah bro lol. Still tryna figure out how to make VTOL. I made a tilt rotor too, but it's really hard to take off in it
