I know that it only has 12% fuel.
It's because I accidentally made the main fuel tank have 800/8000 fuel.
it still has the intended amount of fuel either way, so just ignore it :/
This build is so massively underrated!
May I recommend looking into custom thumbnails.
Also try using structural wings instead of normal wings, they are a lot stronger, so they do not flex outside the wing like with normal wings.
@Ac3Zodiac There are 2 simple ways in which you can achieve yaw control without a tail rotor:
you can add a gyro, and use the yaw power slider to use the gyro to yaw the
aircraft
(My preferred way) you assign yaw as your input for collective
pitch(alt), (make sure one blade has the input inverted), so that one blade increases collective and the other decreases, this creates a yaw moment.
Pretty good replica, I believe the DR.1 only had ailerons on the top wing, and rudder is a bit funny too. besides that, it flies great! its nice to see that you included the rotating cylinders.
@Susimposter I use the blueprint feature, and take screenshots of the blueprints.
Walv!s made a really good video explaining how it’s done here:

@PapaKernels Thanks! I wanted to have a similar profile to the T-1 hawk, to keep it in a similar style to the real life inspiration
@Superliner350 Thank you!
+1How do you do this in outside of the designer, like whilst in game?
@KtaAviation Ok sure!
@Neruneten21 Yes please
Such a good build, but the thumbnail is so dark that I can’t even see the plane?
Does it count if it was designed in 1940-50, but only entered service in 1951 or something?

What actually are "German" planes on here, like what's the story?
@Dogedogebread13 Thanks!
Thanks, helped a lot
+1Love it!
+1I'm currently working on a concept for a successor for the hawk T1 with PSM capabilities.

Quite a lot of bloom on that thumbnail...

@MrCOPTY I really appreciate that! thank you!

+2Nice, however I believe that yaw is inverted.
@Epiccccccccccccccccccc Thanks
@SimonGlaser Yes it does.
+1Thank you!
I have noticed a distinct lack of helicopter among the submissions… I must fix this.
@KtaAviation I don't mind upvoting some builds if you can send me the links to them.
I would like to submit this creation as my submission to this challenge: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/KKB3o4/D-X-VTOL-No-Gyro-Experimental
Is the way which I have tagged you in the description ok?

@RNManufactures Thank you!
i only have 160 pts, any chance the up voting thing is still a thing?
@Mihairus34 Thanks!
+1I use floor(smooth(clamp01(ActivateX),1/t))
