  • Plane vibration at high speeds 7.4 years ago

@mushr0om that's what I thought too, but making the wings smaller made the problem worse

  • Now Xbox one 7.4 years ago

I've never heard any talk of SP being on Xbox

  • Steampunk Heavy Airship 7.4 years ago

@FlyingThings haha I feel you on that

  • Steampunk Heavy Airship 7.4 years ago

@FlyingThings it was mine lol. I re uploaded for a stream

  • Mystery Tournament 7.4 years ago

@22zxSnakeEyes a code that lets you get SP on steam for free

  • Is there a mod that allows controlling aircraft without a cockpit? 7.4 years ago

As long as there is fuel, an engine (intake if necessary), and wings w/ control surfaces it can be controlled after detaching from the cockpit. You'd want to put a camera on it to see tho

  • Scram Cannon 7.4 years ago

Hly fk. Also fine on mobile lol

  • Plane vibration at high speeds 7.4 years ago

@FlyingThings I feel like there isn't really an answer except to drastically slow down the plane. A lot of my time in SP is pushing the limits of the physics engine and i haven't found a way past this one in nearly 2 years of trying :/

  • DH60 Gipsy Moth project 7.4 years ago

Lol I made a gypsy moth out of wings and stuff before fuselages. Good luck with yours

  • Mystery Tournament 7.4 years ago

@HellFireKoder as long as it's not set to activation group 8 it should work

  • Mystery Tournament 7.4 years ago

@ForeverPie I want it bc I'm on iOS and will hopefully be getting a laptop soon. And for those who have it on steam can give it to a friend or something

  • Mystery Tournament 7.4 years ago

Any hints on how twisty and turny it is? Will maneuverability be an issue at all for sheer speed planes?

  • Question about something I don't know 7.4 years ago

Yeah, upvote on planes is 15, upvote on a forum post is 2, and you get half the points per upvote of a successor of your plane, and a quarter of the successor of the successor etc

  • so what im trying to say is... 7.4 years ago

More wing area and less mass.

  • Hey, who's the first? 7.4 years ago

@RailfanEthan oh boy, I can hear the ambient designer noise already

  • Trophy Truck WIP 7.4 years ago

It's really good. If you're looking for something to inprove on though, you could put a second part to limit how much the suspension sags on heavy to landings. What I mean is like a bar that the axle will hit when the suspension compresses. You should probably put the bar on suspension too (but stronger than the main suspension), just so it has a little more room to compress. It might not work, but it should and i can't think of anything else that would improve it

  • Trophy Truck WIP 7.4 years ago

I don't know why this didn't have any upvotes. The suspension is amazing, and it doesn't break when you're going full throttle over jumps like almost every other truck does. Like, I couldn't break it driving from bandit to Yeager taking some really big jumps over the terrain.

  • XML request 7.4 years ago

this should have the pistons you need

  • Eh 7.4 years ago

Me too. I had motivation for like 3 days and got one thing out and now I have two projects I want to do, one half finished, and no motivation for any of them

  • Hey, who's the first? 7.4 years ago

Andrew garrison said hellfirekoder was the first account on SP. idk what the first plane was

  • how do you enter tournaments? 7.4 years ago

@Lahoski107 pretty much! Ultimately try to put quality into your planes over sheer quantity, but your skills will improve as you practice more

  • Modded missile question 7.4 years ago

@MechWARRIOR57 darn. I'm hopefully going to use it to make some WWII rockets so reducing weight probably wouldn't work, but it should be fine. Just a little unrealistic

  • how do you enter tournaments? 7.4 years ago

@Lahoski107 he gets lots of upvotes on lots of planes, and yeah the weekly thing is way outdated

  • Bringing parts in from software??? 7.4 years ago

I have no idea how one would do this, but I have seen people say it is difficult to bring objects made in something like blender into unity, so it might be pretty difficult to import into SP. Maybe not tho, I really don't know how it works lol

  • Which color scheme do you like best? 7.4 years ago

I like candy, but if thats too bright then the first one

  • F-16 sneaky peeky!!!!! 7.4 years ago

I can get the link to work, but weapons and drop tanks and things!

  • Hellhound (guided missiles) 7.4 years ago

@SledDriver ohh ok. Maybe you could do a larger X or + shaped crosshair and leave a gap in the very center so you can still see the target?

  • Gunship design ideas 7.4 years ago

    @MasterKiryu Ok cool :)

  • Coustom landing gear in the wings... how do I get them through? 7.4 years ago

There is an XML attribute called disablecollisions or something. If you can access the code, set that to true for any parts that need to intersect the plane. If not, there are full sets of parts with disabled collisions that users have uploaded to the site. Make the gear out of those parts and they will not collide with the plane

  • Screenshot 7.4 years ago

I think you just broke my little iPhone heart

  • Hellhound (guided missiles) 7.4 years ago

Awesome! Could you upload a version where they're scaled to like 3-4 blocks long though?

  • De Havilland Vampire 7.4 years ago

@ChaMikey ohh ok that makes sense. I figured it was fuselages but I forgot there was a mod so I wasn't sure how you made the smoke trail

  • How do I make a tank cannon? 7.4 years ago

I can't give you a step by step (I've never done it bc iOS) but the way they do it is they put the bombs on detachers (detacher facing the direction of shooting) and turn the detacher strength all the way up. Once you make that you just clip as many rounds as you want into the same spot and every time you press the launch weapon button with the bombs selected it will fire one bomb with the force the detacher has

  • ?Service Unavailability? 7.4 years ago

I had it too but it only lasted a minute

  • De Havilland Vampire 7.4 years ago

@melojam either that or he made them and used a tiny missile inside to power it. They don't look like the in game ones for sure

  • Stupid jokes 7.4 years ago

I would tell you a joke about perforated paper, but it was too tearable

  • Steampunk Heavy Airship 7.4 years ago

    @mblastr thanks :)

  • WoT Blitz 7.4 years ago

@XjayIndustrys I'd play with you, but I stopped playing a while ago :/

  • Supersonic piston flight? 7.4 years ago

Visify got past Mach 1 in a piston plane like yesterday or something

  • New weapons suggestion. 7.4 years ago

I would definitely want to see a big ol unguided rocket on my planes

  • An actual aerospace question! 7.4 years ago

@OtterOfToast I made an unlisted successor with the changes and tagged you in it

  • Huge project on the way! 7.4 years ago

you should put some movable turrets on the side. Also, what Valkyrie shuttle were you taking about?

  • A Small Addition to Gyroscopes 7.4 years ago

These were my thoughts exactly when we first got them. They're amazing, but holding position instead of reverting back to the original position (and especially holding yaw position) would make them so much better

  • Thanks Guys 7.4 years ago

    Boop :P

  • Camera isnt working 7.4 years ago

@BirdOfSteel maybe the one that weighed a ton didn't connect to the plane properly so the weight didn't count? I've had funny experiences with infinite fuel before so I don't really know lol

  • Camera isnt working 7.4 years ago

@BirdOfSteel lol, at least it's fixed haha

  • [Piston power] The Nuclear Bear 7.4 years ago

this flies really nicely. Unfortunately it broke a few times, but I think it was just bc my phone was lagging

  • Camera isnt working 7.4 years ago

    @BirdOfSteel hmm, that is weird

  • An actual aerospace question! 7.4 years ago

@OtterOfToast that's good. Whatever happened, at least it works. And no problem, I'm glad to help :)

  • An actual aerospace question! 7.4 years ago

@OtterOfToast I'm sure it's not you. If it happened when it was detached I would suggest making sure there was an intake for the engine on the bomb, but the inconsistent part is weird. Sometimes weird stuff just happens that doesn't really have an explanation
