@PriyanshuGM I did not, its supposed to be an early radar like on the F6F night fighter variants I just didn't really know how to make it look good.

I actually think these simple ship are perfect, i wish i could create something like that, they're not too detailed, yet they still look good, perfect, absolutely perfect
+ they are a ton of fun to play

  • Myawoitine M.332 [Low part-ish] 6 months ago

@Trainzo Thank you very much! I based it on the 1 D.332 (from all the photos I found the D.333 looked a bit more streamlined, but the two are incredibly similar, so yes)

  • AAB - 14 'Truth' [Low part-ish] 6 months ago

Ive realized I said low part in the title but this has nothing to do with Monarchii's Low-Part Aircrafts [LPA] since even if I find it kinda cool and would want to submit something, this thing doesn't comply with their rules at all (10 wings, 652 pc etc...)

  • Into the Jet Age / Cost of Innovation ~ 1.5 years ago

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes So yes they were caused by metal fatigue, which was caused by the windows.

  • Into the Jet Age / Cost of Innovation ~ 1.5 years ago

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes “ The square windows were the cause of high stresses. The bolt hole which failed on "YP" had a defect in the chamfer which indicated the potential for manufacturing defects on all skin holes.”

  • Into the Jet Age / Cost of Innovation ~ 1.5 years ago

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes yes but the metal fatigue was specifically around the windows, and their shapes had a large part in it.

  • Into the Jet Age / Cost of Innovation ~ 1.5 years ago

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes hmm, the widows of the Comet 1s were the cause of the fatal decompressions, the one with the round widows were the latter versions, like the Comet 4.

@CL125 Might think about, but not sure, I already make too much liveries, and as much as I like making them, its not much use having like 10 liveries for each plane I upload when in the end I mostly upload just 1(+1 or 2 in description) for most planes.

  • Where You From? 1.6 years ago

Despite the name, I originate from the small village of Brînzeni, in the small beautiful hole which is Moldova
    .
Though I've actually spent very little time there, actually leaving Moldova very early,
    to my benefit I guess?

  • Into a new age in unparalleled comfort ~ 1.6 years ago

@BassemT90 Done, Hope they look fine, will be uploaded with the plane later today/tomorrow.

    Alitalia

    MEA

    (links)

-1 I know you asked for vintage Alitalia livery, but I didn't think I could make it look well enough, so I instead made this one.
-2 As always, if you want the same liveries without the knock-off names/branding, remind me when I upload the plane and ill make it.

@FedexGuy I can definitely see your point, but the main inspiration behind this was the Hawker Siddeley HS 748, with a tiny bit of NAMC YS-11 and IL-14.

  • IDB Type B propliner 1.6 years ago

@BassemT90 here is the Czech one

  • Future design committee Challenge 1.6 years ago

@XAircraftManufacturer Thank you for your interest, the name could be whatever you want, all that is required is for the plane to at least somewhat fit one of the types and state which type it is in your description or fictional lore etc...
    .
So for the Type IV, it should be something along the lines of an early jetliner, of around ~100 (so 75-120) passengers (you can just say its a shorter/longer version), which should at least look like it can operate medium or long range routes.
And honestly, specifically for the Type IV, it could just be any kind of early jetliner since no one had experience building those, and no one knew if they would be viable or how to operate them.

  • IDB Type B propliner 1.6 years ago

@AverageBreakingBadMeme As for different cockpits, well no matter how much I try, its still going to look somewhat like this, this is the best I can do without putting too much thought or time into it, which would make it less fun for me.
I might try to spice them up a little, but I'm kind of satisfied with them, they kind of fit the quality of the rest of the plane.

As for 747, I might, I've done a couple of wide bodies, even if they don't look like it, since my planes are generally smaller because I made the early ones too small and stuck with it, I still might do something 'Jumbo-like', but currently I'm still more interested in making 50s-60s planes and I kind of like smaller planes, sorry.

  • Regional operations + Coast to coast ~ 1.6 years ago

@CL125 I mean I can try, but, it would probably not be too detailed/close to the original, I'm no where near your skill level when it comes to liveries...
probably would look somewhat like the knockoff Air Canada seen here but only a bit different, since I only change the color of the cheatline and stuff on the tail/rudder.
    .
    I'll try my best!

  • Victor 'Grand Duchess' Airliner 1.6 years ago

@DeutscheLufthansaAG No offense but I'm pretty sure that it has to be either something you've done or a bug in your game since the max speed of this is +-670 km/h (on full graphics+physics as well), idk maybe you spawned with speed or something like that (like on a saved location), but other then that I have no idea except for maybe a bug or Ai striking you, but no matter how much I test it, it gets fairly quickly to 670 km/h and then practically stops, very very slowly gaining speed afterwards ( +1 km/h a minute on fast forward but never gets above 680) so idk -(- -)-

@Gabriel747 no worries, good luck with your build.

  • AB-2 Light Airliner/Transport 1.6 years ago

@Gabriel747 I know it doesn’t, I meant that I got the idea from and roughly based it on the An-28 (as in rough size, over the fuselage wings, twin Rudrers, fixed LG etc..), so no offense taken :)

Though I guess I thought it at least somewhat resembled it :(
    .
+I don’t particularly like square fuselages which is why it’s only kind of square at the bottom.
    .
It’s just like how my last plane was roughly based on the MiG-110 but also doesn’t look too much like it.

  • AB-2 Light Airliner/Transport 1.6 years ago

@Gabriel747 This was actually based of the An-28, but with how wide I accidentally made it I can see how it’d look more like a Skyvan XD

  • Ukraine Tag? 2.2 years ago

@asteroidbook345 I get that, but I was mostly talking about using the tag as a place of origin/service, and not place of manufacture indicator
as for made in the Soviet Union, well yes, but so are most "Russian" Aircraft.
Weather or not its enough for a tag and concerning other countries is not for me to decide, I simply suggested Ukraine because that was what came to mind for me and what I saw.

+I also just want to tag some of the things I made and will make with 'Ukraine' :)
