@FeatherWing I said Antonov as an example of based in Ukraine, and well, it was a Ukrainian company given that it was based and that most people working were from the Ukrainian SSR, even in soviet times.
@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII I mean both yes and no, there are some soviet and post soviet design bureaus which were in based Ukraine, or were originally Ukrainian (such as Antonov), but I also believe that despite the fact that country tags are supposedly for the crafts country of origin, they are also used to specify the nation of the plane on a lot of builds, for example, even most things tagged 'Russia' are soviet made planes (sometimes technically even Ukrainian planes) in Russian service, just like I would for example tag something of the Ukrainian air force as both soviet union (if its soviet) and as 'Ukraine', and for example if its an American, or any other existing country tag, you would put both the country of origin, and the country which is using the specific example you made.
@ReinMcDeer "uses that marketing to overshadow their disastrous incidents" Can you read minds?
I was intending for part of the "lore" of this plane to be that it suffered a number of fatal accidents which were proved to be the Airline's fault but still damaged the plane's reputation and sales.
@FeatherWing Yes I'm aware that It was established in Novosibirsk but soon after establishment it moved to Kyiv and for most if not basically all of its history in soviet times it was Ukrainian.
@SimpleTankers
like @DerekSP said, I don't think that it's political at its core, maybe the reason for more Ukrainian stuff on the website is political, but the argument itself isn't, and can be applied to most nationalities/nation, weather its producing aircraft(or anything else on the site for that matter) or fielding them, I specifically asked for Ukraine as a tag because I built and want to build some more Ukrainian stuff, and because in general there is more of it on the website lately.
@DeveloperKorzalerke Thank you,
As for the recommendations/observations
1-I’ll try to remember to do so, I mostly forget because I remember the instructions of my own planes when flying in VR.
2-This is something I believe to have already improved in some of my newer planes, however because I don’t upload them in order some are older ones and I forgot to implement changes in them.
3-Will try to remember to that with future planes.
4-might experiment with this sometime however for now I’ll have to stay with these worse looking wings.
Here's My Entry, fairly proud of it and somehow managed to put it together in half a dozen hours. also at time of uploading it seems to be the first entry, probably because I rushed it, but that's just how I build stuff; sit down, and stand back up only when the plane is finished.
This challenge came in handy because I wanted to remake some of my old deleted planes (not this one tho) and finally pushed me to do it.
@Falkenwut No mistakes (kind of, they're all super direct translations witch wouldn't be used), it just seems to be written backwards, same with the other Hebrew writing, other then that, amazing plane!
@CR929thenewSPplayer Really didnt have any idea for what to do with Cathay because I usually do synonyms and stuff like that for my uncreative airline ripoffs so I just went with a random adjective starting with C that vaguely fit :з
@XAircraftManufacturer Well as I said in the challenge post, given that its the only entry (;-;) you'll probably get all the rewards anyway (though I will wait a couple of days prob since finals), still great plane, I like the design.
@Loveflying That's, a lot, and I'm not really sure that I can make most of them correctly, since I don't want to spend too much time creating multi-color cheatlines, like with Royal Air Maroc, Gulf air, and retro Jordanian, I might do Iraqi Airways and Kuwait Airways, but without the flags they might look a bit generic.
.
I can also do Syrian Air, but it would be rather simple, with the cheat line of the fuselage being just blue, without the white.
.
And also I really have no idea how to name those airlines, since I don't use original names for airlines, and only knock-off ones, even if they're very similar.
.
Still, even if I do some of them, it will be later.
@LieutenantSOT Deleted the message because I thought maybe I got too political but I guess not, well still, thank you very much for you kind words.
.
And I mean while I believe Moldova should stay 100% independent, I do understand that its probably better to unite with Romania then be "united" with Russia, though I don't think it would be particularly great either.
@Applejuice2 I don't particularly like straying from my own rules, but given that I don't think there are going to be many entries, I guess I can allow that, but please do try to get to at least ~150
@BassemT90 I can, but it will take me some more time, and as I told the player who asked for cubana on a different one, they would still be pretty much just rough recoloring, like the ones you saw here.
.
But for now MALEV is on hold since I don't feel like I can make it look even relatively good (talking about the livery they had on their IL-14s)
Also Balkan will end up really simple since I don't do flags (on the tail) and its just going to end up as this with a red line and different writing butchering the name :)
@SheriffHackdogMCPE Basically yes, guy started calling people fascists, I replied maybe a bit too aggressively, good that this entire thing was deleted anyway.

+1@RepublicOfCursedPlanes based on DC-4 but I guess? Four engine prop with how I make the nose of the plane always looks like an electra (•_•)
