@Shmexysmpilot I know they aren't official, or we'd all know, but apparently AG has backed the weapons statement... Maybe the person who brought it up made it up.
@Bostin20 Oh. Well, there are worse copiers. Some people say, "I made this" or they use the subassemblies or the .xml code to get around the successor rule.
@Bostin20 Right. With owner permission. That's different. You could set someone's house on fire if they told you to. (Well, not reall, but it's an example.) But he did not get permission and he only added two pieces and thus this is prohibited.
@Bostin20 You are not allowed to copy other people's planes in any way, even if you give them credit, and if you modify them, you are required to list your changes. It doesn't matter if it says it automatically, that is the social protocol of this website and if people do not follow those rules, they will be ostracized.
Like I have 13k points and don't build very good planes and I get mad when people point it out. PlanesOfOld had 18k points and a mental condition and was a cranky fellow all around. We both had issues and lots of points and both received a lot of trouble from just generic trolls. Hypnotoad, WalrusAircraft, and Scriefers all are perfectly fine and all do not get trolls. You have 332 points and have not been bothered by a troll once. People with a lot of points and any weaknesses get attacked, but people with less points or more points and no weaknesses do not. Is that any better?
What I've found is that gold users who show any sign of weakness get a lot more hassle than people who wouldn't be worth bothering, like very powerful users such as Authros or smaller users with about 6000 points or less.
Whoops. Didn't think to check that. And don't call me "bud". But anyway, I and many other users I know have not had the same community experience you and many other REAL new players get. I remember thinking the same thing when I had just joined.

@Rohan I go there every day, but I haven't seen any. Is there a particular post that you have seen?
@Wahoo12 It was a joke.
@Rohan I figured so, but where?
@Allstar Aha-- a money manage Nazi... Or perhaps an armchair Air Force analyst. Do you comment on FoxtrotAlpha articles?
@XVIdarkLithium @chair I was hoping someone would be more optimistic than I am. Unfortunately, I thought the same thing.
Sorry to see you go! Fortunately, you'll be back. Don't forget to come back, though!
Usually FoxtrotAlpha posts are positive about it, but the comments are full of flame wars between the two groups. Personally, I thinks it's badass.
We do need this.
Because the rest of us like it just how it is.
ALSO, all thes people with their damn Murphy vs Bandit posts clutter up the dedicated Forums page.
Ooh, look! Italics!
groans loudly
Cockpit attatched to a detatcher or pylon and nothing else.
@WalrusAircraft 's might work...
Everyone on SP loves it. Every armchair Air Force analyst on FoxtrotAlpha hates it. The F-35: America's Future.
Oh.
Okay. @ramjet
Trams-island in seconds.
@SpiritusRaptor Sounds complicated, but I suppose it would work.
Replicas. Concepts are okay, but I don't usually download them.
You already posted this.
Yes. Where did you read this? Link please.
Oooooh! And you got upvotes from all for devs, too!
Not for iOS.
@ramjet You're welcome to use this design as a starting point.
@ramjet I've made missiles like this before. They didn't work, but I didn't put much effort into balancing them, like I did this one.
@Bostin20 Oh. Well, there are worse copiers. Some people say, "I made this" or they use the subassemblies or the .xml code to get around the successor rule.
@Bostin20 No, of course not! But your comment you tagged me in made it sound like you thought it was okay to copy planes.
@Bostin20 Right. With owner permission. That's different. You could set someone's house on fire if they told you to. (Well, not reall, but it's an example.) But he did not get permission and he only added two pieces and thus this is prohibited.
@Bostin20 I never said you did.

@Delphinus Have you seen the flying version?
@MaxTeoZ Thanks! I was partly inspired by your micro space shuttle.
Spectacular as usual
@djones1085 I added four and it didn't move.
It's probably too heavy.
Yeah, I hate when that happens. Try turning it down to low physics.
What settings do you use?
Vought V-173
TWO WalrusAircrafts in one night? SCORE!
No, that's fine.
@Garuda1 Yeah, I will later, I just wanted some opinions on it.
No problem!
5 grand too light

@Bostin20 ...while this would only bring 8.
