@Gluck Thank you! Tomorrow's post, the WYVERN, will be the last of this set...I hope you've enjoyed seeing and flying them. Once again, thank you for your ongoing support.
I know that the classification "interceptor" is currently considered outdated, but there are many folk here who built either historical or fictional airplanes, and that is, I believe, reason enough to include this tag in the game.
@StavinairCaeruleum I rarely keep track of part counts. To me the important thing is getting the right outcome in terms of performance and appearance. I just use whatever is required to achieve that goal.
@11qazxc Thanks for the upvote! I know that this one is a bit of an oddball--it's nice of you to support my efforts even when they're on the strange side.
@Mmnben Thank you for the upvote and the comment. I'm glad you like the "light show." I try to add interesting bits to my builds, even if they're just for show. After all, details matter!
@DashaP123 As you'll see in the credits section, there are a number of cool mods that I've found from across the Simple Planes site. The newest is the shield generator, which SnoWFlakEOs (I hope I got the name right) posted a few weeks ago. My computer does not allow me to do original modifications, so I look for interesting ones online here. I try to give credit in the write-up when I know who the developer is, as I know that many folks work long and hard on these things, and a bit of recognition is the least I can do.
@Mmdben Thanks! I always use a joystick so I have better fine control--if you have one available you might want to give that a try. I have to admit, this is still my favorite plane.
@Mmdben Thank you very much for your upvote and kind words! I still feel like an utter newbie and a bit of a hack. After all, since my computer does not support mods, I am wholly reliant on the work of others. All I do is paste them together in a way that I hope is pleasing and fun. Anyway, thanks!
@USSR Thanks for the upvote USSR! Wow, that was fast! I only just put this up and hadn't included the story spiel yet. Check back to get the activation group info.
@Delphinos Thanks for the upvote and the encouraging words. I have an experimental plane in the works that I'll post in the next day or two that has both the new colors and the animations you requested. I'm glad you're enjoying my work!
@TheCreatorandDestroyer99 Thanks for the upvote! I made a slight error in the first upload...it's fixed now (I hope), so you might want to get that version instead. I'll be deleting the duplicate shortly.
@ironman4248 Thank you for the upvote and the feedback. I am aware that it can be tricky to fly. Try changing the VTOL nozzle attitudes, front and back, as that greatly changes the flight characteristics.
@Destroyerz117 Thanks for the upvote, and "duplication" notice. Yes, I know, this sort of 'close cousin" build is probably frowned upon, but there's just the three, and I did them as sort of an exercise in how different things can be achieved with the same airframe--sort of like the F-35 out in the real world. I hope it's not too annoying, and I'll try to avoid it in the future.
@M7MDRHX It's always best to keep track of them...it can be difficult to get replacements. ;-)
