@ProKillaV12 I understand that, but it looks like you didn't really attempt to make it look like a T-50. The intakes are all wrong, the engine is out of proportion, and you don't even have the rear end of the cockpit, which is even more humiliating in my opinion. Not to mention the other flaws.
I think there would be more important things than a wing tunnel(Like, say, rotators working in the editor to show where the CoM/CoL/CoT shifts to with certain designs). It would be nice, but it doesn't really work.
Well, even in the cases that they start to develop other games, who knows? The modding community would provide SP with many attractions for years to come, and even if they no longer have to actively develop the game, they can add new content every now and then from the modding community. So, really, even in the worst case, SP would be pretty well off without any help. And the game is pretty enjoyable(Of course, I got most of my copies of SP for free, but I still have bought simple rockets, and might even buy the Steam version if I had to(and maybe the PC version, all things considered). The devs still deserve a applause, as this game is very good, much better than any other game currently out or in development for aircraft games which allow you to build your own aircraft.)
Well, unlike you, I had more time during the school year due to having the macbook air. Unfortantly, once school ended, I could no longer upload aircraft for the most part, so I went dark. I hope to get a new laptop this year though, so hopefully I no longer need to rely on either my Ipad nor Macbook to do any of my builds.
@SpiritusRaptor I find no problems with JB. Then again, I've always had issues with apple at one point or another. Before I needed to JB 8.3, I was using some of the file browsers for apple devices to do things, EG Ifunbox. 8.3 killed that, so JB was inevitable.
@Lolivier Well, the modded content doesn't really give anything for Heli blades. Sure, it might work for now, but prop engines aren't exactly resemblant of helicopter blades. The devs even mentioned that when they were first released. So the XML modded props are only a temporary solution.
Now, for the hyperdrive... do u no read/watch fiction? It's used in Star Wars, for crying out loud. Plus, even if you don't know about them, let me put it in more simple terms. FTL drive. All I need to say.
@K1nglegend That's actually the problem. While it may be possible for it to effectively 'teleport', it's precision and accuracy would be next to none, what with it's million+ mph speed and probably retarded acceleration. There is a reason why they are mostly only in space, because the accuracy and precision doesn't have to be overly good to get within 100-1000mi within the target from millions of miles of distance. The distance between the islands is over the distance of 100mi last I checked, and it would be way too easy to overshoot in any regard. So any kind of FTL or warp drive is completely unfeasible in the expanses of SP.
@K1nglegend ... No. Do you even know how those work? They wouldn't work in SP because A. hyper space means alternate dimension, and B. if you mean FTL drive, there is absolutely no point, as it would be overly fast and because FTL drives only work in space. Outer space does not exist in SP. Not to mention they require power far beyond what the earth has to offer, or at least what any plane does. Basically, they simply aren't a good idea for normal SP(though you could talk it up with a modder(not XML))
Same. Plus I've experienced no viruses to date when using JB. And frankly, warranty isn't that great anymore with apple... For one, if your device is trashed, they just give it back to you with repairs, no matter how badly it's been damaged(even if damaged to the point it would be better to buy a new one!). And really, with 8.3, it's Apple's own fault I downloaded a JB. If they hadn't removed the ability to edit things with Ifunbox and the like, I would have never contemplated getting a JB, ever.
@Ilovesthecheeses Umm... You do realize that's kinda hard to do, right? And at some point, the game will experience lag anyway due to complexity/size/design/etc(aircraft). And lag isn't bad unless your using large aircraft.
@IStoleYourMeme I'm pretty sure that's because he edited that in. I don't think the website will give a notification if it's not in the first revision, but idk.
I happen to be a resident of JB, because one of the games I played(BSC) relied on me being able to switch the SQLite in iFunbox. Apple patched that ability in 8.3, so I had to sit around for several months waiting for Taig to make an 8.3 JB. At this point, I'll probably never go back to non-JB.
@BigCat I actually spammed undo one time with my YF-23 when I was trying to get back to the start of my edits(on my Ipad)... Let's just say some parts(mainly the parts I was working on for the V-tail)copied a couple hundred billion times and crashed the game.
@FlOu Well, I'm in school, haha. I'm also going to start building something new today. M4A3E8 Sherman. I'm going to get started on the chassis, for starters. I'll start working on the other details when I get home. The whole project will likely take a few days... considering I'm also making attachments for the tank similar to what it had IRL.
... You do realize that aircraft isn't even ANYWHERE on Wikipedia? It's not even listed under it's official fighter jets. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ListofaircraftoftheIndonesianAir_Force
How do you expect people to find something that even wikipedia doesn't have? None.
^
And also, there happens to be a few aircraft which have went mach 5. X-43A, X-51, X-15. And X-craft refers to ALL X-planes. Which only narrows it down to 56 aircraft. hypersonic narrows it down to about 5. And the fact you labeled it as 'not an aircraft' narrows it down to either the X-43A(it's technically more engine with stubby plate rather than an aircraft) or the X-51 Waverider. And for what you have shown, it looks... horrible. It doesn't even have the rear stabs in the proper position.
@XVIindustries Well, he DID say etc, which literally does mean 'add needed things here'. Plus it's just the general idea. I mean, that's only the basics. And I would assume the guidance system already controls the control surfaces.
Agreed. Procedural weapons allows for a limited customizability, though I prepose that there be something to keep XML modders out of the procedural parts. I can already see that being a problem if people make, say, a very large cannon with a stupidly large rate of fire. Not like it would matter too much, as the weapon ammunition would still need space. So the weapons(particularly guns) would also have ammunition, so they are physically restricted by the aircraft carrying the weapons. Cannons don't need to be too badly restricted, though rate of fire would need to scale with the cannon size(so a 75mm will obviously be more powerful than a 12.7mm, but also fire slower). Otherwise, this system has effectively no flaws.
I know UnstableOrbit is using procedural guns in the Simple Warships mod.
@Cjredwards Obviously, XML modding :P . I could have built this on my own, but I would have been too lazy to do so.
... :O What is this madness? I think I know what you did for this, but still, very good job.
@AndrewGarrison

... Looks nothing like a PAK FA(T-50), just saying.

well, putting a vertical wing in the fuselage of the aircraft would help with that.

I still think they should add more variety to the fuselage blocks. It's still kinda hard to make cool looking aircraft.

@dsr1aviation Given his account join, around 3 months ago.
@BardofBricks Is that an alt? Anyway, no harm done, I can't even get to it via school wifi, even if the current link is broken.

It's not that hard. My oldish PAK FA can do it fairly easily if your good enough.
... I can't open the page(probably school internet).
No, you don't. Do you still have the E-mail message you got from Grumroad? You can download it from there.

@UnknownVectors iOS 8.3*

@IStoleYourMeme Same here(for the upvotes on aircraft)! It's been that way for a while, at least the last week or so.
Hmm. Odd. Notifications didn't notify me, despite the fact it's clearly shown in the post. @AndrewGarrison Is this a thing you forgot to add?
Wat?

Song makes no sense.
@BigCat I actually spammed undo one time with my YF-23 when I was trying to get back to the start of my edits(on my Ipad)... Let's just say some parts(mainly the parts I was working on for the V-tail)copied a couple hundred billion times and crashed the game.
Indeed.
@Kevpilot Example, this one being experimental for the B-36
Maybe tracked landing gear?
@XVIdarkLithium That, and directly copying the XML files as a backup.
... Haven't you read the other threads?

I'll fly it later, but it looks amazing!
@XVIdarkLithium I plan on it being good ;)
Congrats on getting silver! I hope to be there pretty soon(maybe when I release my Sherman...)
@Allstar Indeed.
Ok, just checked, it does have it. but you said Indonesian, not South Korea. Two completely different things.

@JetFighter ... You didn't even answer mine... Also, why do you keep talking at the other person that isn't me? WTF?
YF-17 is Northrop...
Hmm... YF-17 Cobra?
