Wow, this is almost an entire game in itself trying to figure out how to land the thing...it was really fun, too.
Perhaps could have been a bit easier with a different input mapping (not sure I have any suggestions though)...you have a LOT going on, so I'm not going to fault you for that.
The design is really, REALLY awesome, and it is very rewarding once everything finally works as hoped.
Thanks for putting so much time into this design, and the game. Kudos!
Takes a bit to figure out what each activation group does, but it can land nearly hands-off once you get it trimmed for a nice gentle glide slope.
Ground handling leaves a bit to be desired, but you worked with what you had quite nicely.
This plane looks awesome! Why didn't you log it!?!?! :) It does nose-over pretty easy, but someone fixed that in a successor design. Great foundation though using the parts provided in the predecessor plane challenge.
@ElijtheGeat I may make one...and have worked on a couple designs for this challenge in particular...I just scrapped 'em b/c I ended up not liking them.
Nathan and Andrew submitted within a reasonable timeframe though, so you all can choose a winner between 'em.
Looks great.
Constructive criticism: It is hard to get it to fly straight and wants to tip over on the runway unless you throttle up immediately.
Awesome job on looks alone though.
Ho...lee...crap! There have been so many great designs today! The heli taking off from the boat after you've been piloting the boat around is obviously pretty amazing...
Wow, one of my favorites for sure.
WOW! It even flies really well.
Incredible
The airplane shows some weird characteristics on the elevator, but that isn't your fault...the hand looks awesome and it flies well once launched.
Nice Job!
This is pretty cool, but the main blades are spinning the wrong way. You have to add negative collective for it to take off, which is...kinda weird.
Very nice!
Awesome

Oh...my...
Crap...thanks for posting we'll look into this.
Awesome! One of the few replicas that land very well. Good job
Nice, simple design...flies pretty well :)
This handles really well, and feels very realistic in landings...nice job!
Nice control mechanism
Awesome

The improvements are great. Wish you had logged before uploading though!
These are awesome...some of my favorites for sure!
@Planecrafter Yes, I'm a dev. This is one of the first complete planes I made quite a while ago.
Pretty good flier! I noticed all of your elevator controls are inverted though...makes it a bit harder for me to fly.
Nice...your designs keep improving :)

I'm not sure how this flies as well as it does...good job, it looks very cool.
This is really cool!
Noice!
Featured b/c it is awesome and runs great on mobile. Nice work!
Wow, very nice.
Holy crap, this is incredible..wow. Bravo @UnstableOrbit!
Ha, that is pretty unique. Who needs fuel!
Love the tilting rotators...handles great too.
Love it. The adjustable angle of attack makes is much easier to flip back over if you get upside down too.

Absolutely amazing...handles very well, and I love all of the little details.
Works really well, nice job.
Superb design. Why you no have profile!?! :)
This thing is stunning!
Not only does it look amazing, but the VTOL is balanced absolutely amazingly. You clearly put a lot of work into this... *claps*
@SkipperBing Amazing work, Andrew sent me a link to this design to me to show it off...pretty impressive!
I just noticed the "brakes" and reverse provided by the propeller engines...awesome!
Awesome work...performs fabulously.
Holy cow, this is great! Can't believe how good it works.
Holy crap, this turns on a dime even at higher speeds.
What the hell, did you check out my SuperStudley?
Make sure you read the comments and that you need to activate 1, 2, & 3 to engage the engines to be able to take off.

+1Holy cow...I can't believe how maneuverable it is...great job.
Great design. Love how you can do an auto-rotation landing in it! Lot of fun to fly.
Amazing job...looks great. I bet that took a LOT of work.
