@Numbers2 So this code outputs a value in between 0 and 1. All you should have to do is either have your rotator set to 60 degrees OR set your rotator to 90 degrees and multiply the code by 60/90. i.e. 60/90*clamp01(ceil(smooth(...
@Numbers2 It's up to you but I put:
.
Auto sweep: (GS-140)/195
.
Manual sweep: (1.25*Trim)-.25
(Gives a 25% deadzone with the slider)
Also I made a correction to the previous comment
the smooth makes it have some delay before switching from manual to auto
. EDIT clamp01(ceil(smooth(Trim=0,.5)=1))=1 ? (Auto sweep code) : (Manual sweep code) )
I believe this is the message the game gives you if the game crashes while the designer is open.
It basically tells you that it unloaded the aircraft that was present when the game crashed (since it may have caused it) and asks if you want to make a backup of that aircraft.
@CallsignGizmo On PC, there is a keybind for trim auto-reset (set back to 0 with one key, by default it is numpad 4), but there is no such key for the VTOL slider.
Personally, I'd rather have the ability to reset the flaps with one key, so I set that to trim.
The rates are here
The comment says gallons/sec, but I think it's more likely liters/sec, considering SP's track record of using metric for other XML values (meters, m/s)
@Th3Missil3 It's a bit more all over the place, but they do have different throttle responses for afterburner and that's by design (The FT is under Afterburner or Afb1/2)
Some have it slower (ex. F-104C, F-14A) and others faster (ex. F-16C, F-14B)
I may need to tweak speed/accel in some places though
@ZeroWithSlashedO I did, top and bottom half
It helps you get that sort of egg-looking cross section and also helps with how the bottom section of the F-14 fuselage flattens off as it goes backwards
@ZeroWithSlashedO Linus showed me a cool trick where if you use hollow glass fuselages with 100% opacity, the Primary Color paints the outside and Trim 1 paints the inside. Perfect for landing gear doors
@PriusCat Thanks for the heads up, will release a fix
I was pressing AG4 before AG5 in my final check, which explains it
I copied and pasted a sparrow pylon as a subassembly and the problem must've carried over
@Rjenteissussy I'd probably use the clean one since it's the least parts
I think you could also modify it by removing the gear bay doors to really cut down on the parts for MP
@IDK0 The B has better engines
As someone who constantly deals with asymmetric drag
+1this makes my head hurt
Looks awesome!
@SuperSuperTheSylph Yeah, this thing can loiter. At cruise speed (270 km/h), you should have about 5.5 hours of fuel

@ToeTips Go ahead 👍 make sure they allow modifications of other people's builds
+1@Dragoranos Go ahead, the energy retention is one of the variables actually and all you need is a hidden airbrake with XML max set to 10
It works off a linear combination of pitch rate, AOA, and pitch angle and you can adjust how much each effects the energy retention
@SuperSuperTheSylph big funny number achieved 👍
+1@PriusCat Fixed!
@TheCommentaryGuy Fixed! Of course I got that wrong with all the reference photos being upside down.
A callback to the first plane I uploaded :)
Thought it was fitting since I haven't posted in a LONG time

Something similar to the f-16 gear should work

+1I like how because of the sheer amount of guns this thing has, the part count is 16/96=16.67% gun

+1@TheCommentaryGuy Thanks, should be fixed now! What's funny is that the antennas were flip flopped, I should've expected something else to be off.
