@Th3Missil3 I've made the MiG-23 and now that I'm making a Flanker, I'd be fine with doing another NATO aircraft. I do want to make another variant of the Su-27, but not the 30SM.
The FIA has unanimously agreed that the US Navy's F/A-18C Hornet has violated regulations and will not be allowed to participate in this year's championship.

@ThatKindaWeeb It's finnicky. You need to find the .xml file of your creation and open it with a text editor (i.e. notepad). At the top there should be a line saying url="". Take the six-letter code from the url of this post and paste it in between the quotes. Save and then try updating the XML via the site. Here's a better guide.
That being said, I'm not sure how this works on mobile.
@Graingy I mean
The F-16C V5 was my 6th F-16
The F-15C V4 was my 5th F-15
I think it's good to remake the same aircraft a couple times, it shows how much you've improved Something something practiced 10,000 kicks once vs practiced 1 kick 10,000 times
I also just like these planes :P
@Graingy Yeah true, this is my 4th Su-27 now so I kinda know what to expect
The color also helps for contrasting against the black and white blueprints
.
Actually, it's a cake
-The U-2 was designed by Kelly Johnson, designer of the F-104, and the original proposal, the CL-282, was based on the XF-104.
-There were 104 U-2's made.
-The wingspan of the U-2 is 104 feet.
A little note about smooth(,)
.
You can use smooth(x, 1/n), where n is the number of seconds it takes for x to change by 1.
.
For example, if you have smooth(Activate1, 1/5), when you use AG1, it will take 10 seconds for the "smoothed" value to change from -1 to 1.
@EngieWeeb Ah that makes sense
I read up a bit more on the ML so I might work on the FM a bit more, didn't know how much the weight was reduced from the previous models
@Th3Missil3 The aircraft is naturally pointed upwards on the ground, so it is likely the wings lifting the aircraft and reducing traction
.
Make sure the elevators are deflected downwards while braking and you should be able to brake without worrying too much
@Ac3Zodiac @Kangy Made an update to the flight model, guess I took the Constant Peg pilots' criticisms a little too seriously :P (And I guess they didn't have MLD's)
.
The poor turning at full-sweep was more due to excessive deflection of the elevators, so it now deflects less at full-sweep
@ShinyGemsBro Still wing guns
The cannons are cool but the sound they make when firing fast is not great.
I think the rule I'm gonna set for myself will be that cannons 37mm or above use the cannon part but that hasn't come up yet.
I was making planes in Besiege way back in the day and some of the Besiege YouTubers I watched played SimplePlanes. (Does anyone remember the Bearded Beast?) So I decided to buy it and then it went on sale the next day. :(
.
What's interesting is that the Besiege plane community was worried that the builders would move on to SimplePlanes, just like what's happening with SimplePlanes and FlyOut right now. Although, the Besiege plane community is still going strong, so if that's anything to go off of, I'm not worried about the FlyOut thing.
@ToeTips Aye there was. I was trying Google Photos as a hosting software because of the Discord fiasco but it looks like I'll have to use something else.
Yeah, well said.
I still believe that Jundroo created one of the best building systems out there with SimplePlanes in terms of ease of use and creative potential.
@Graingy Most mentally stable NCD user

@PriusCat @TheCommentaryGuy Liveries is one of the reasons
+2Main reason is that I was inspired by Weaverfish and costr's builds
(and laziness)
@Graingy I do this with all my builds in the early stages to help me visualize things
+1I guess it does look a little silly :v
@rexzion the flanker from digital combat simulator!?!?!
+1@ThatKindaWeeb Maybe
I did start another project but it's still top secret atm :)
@PlayMinecraft Nose Wheel Steering
+1NWS high lets the nosewheel steer more so you can taxi on a carrier easier
@TwoTurboMan It's been going, I'm redoing the loadouts at the moment
+1I took a bit of a break over Christmas and New Years
@ethanlikesrice Just regular fuselage blocks and some blueprints, nothing fancy.
Some fun coincidences:

Might not work but maybe try

Bald Eagle?
@ShinyGemsBro maybe (tm)
I've been making a lot of US aircraft recently so I want to build some aircraft for REDFOR or other NATO countries for a bit
@ToeTips Just got it to work with postimages.org, pics should be up

@All for more complicated builds, its best to mirror parts individually instead of using the mirror tool
+1@TheCommentaryGuy there is no fbw but there is a control augmentation system
