@overlord5453 That's alright though because I'm always taggable if the changes have to be drastic. If you go with an realistic airframe though and keep the COM close to COL, you won't have much trouble actually just copying and pasting things as is. But thanks for the upvote and insight, always appreciated!
And once again, no need to credit me... because like you said, you may still have to understand the code and change inputs here and there which in and off itself is enough to justify fair use, but I'm also outright saying that I want this to go around as something that people use without even knowing who made it first, like the custom landing gear code which has been reused and re-editted about... a billion times, perhaps. Who knows...
@YarisSedan Weird time to tag you... But I've been really cooking with this thing along with the help of @ThomasRoderick. Check it out here
It's actually really cool and I wanna see others use it xD
@Noname918181818181818181 Good to know, because Im working on a plane literally having this as part of it's lore.
Besides, it's really exciting because I managed to give it a Fly by wire that might be revolutionary if enough people start to use it, which can be found here
@hpgbproductions @Noname918181818181818181
So here's an addition to this... Downscale a Microwave CIWS to the size of plane such that it's effective within a certain range. Likely using magnetrons that are extremely high power but short pulses to fry onboard tracking electronics once the missile is in a certain range. The points Noname made for the F-22's escape still stands, but with this, you're literally impossible to hit BVR because the missile is probably depending on the energy it built to reach you and likely will get fried by the microwave emitters before hitting you.
When I meant downscale it by the way, I mean take a microwave emitters meant for two miles of coverage and then make it effective for only 500ft of coverage, which to avoid getting hit is more than enough rangem

@Sadboye12
@ThomasRoderick
Sorry for the random tags but... I really thought that it would be nice to hear the thoughts of you all on this.
This works for Sadboye's stuff as well. He likely already has an anti grav system in his universe among other things, now he might have a reason to justify the issues with how his designs aren't stealth focused
@YarisSedan oh my god.
@thomasRoderick
I've become an autism magnet.
(Me having autism myself is in contention. I show symptoms, but a lot of people disagree. That said, the symptoms for me are way tamer than the usual.)
@DrakonDynamics Agreed on that. It will perform quite the ways better than a Fulcrum though.
I called it the Quechal's Ghost for now, somewhat of a tribute to Ukrainian "Ghost of Kyiv"
@ThomasRoderick I 100% agree.
You can't make those designs though If you don't go through the development arc I had. You have to admit that some other hypersonic SSTO designs, though perfectly functional, look crappy.
That new echostar is form after function, but it does also have the form in mind, that is why the whole folding wings. That is NOT a conventional design choice for hypersonics. It wasn't a result of entirely just "Make the best possible version in terms of IRL physics", It was more "How can we make this near impossible to work IRL plane into something genuinely plausible". The twin booms and forward swept wings are still a part of it, and reason why it looks so... NICE. let's say. Still though, thanks for forcing some more realism into my designs!
@YarisSedan Im working on it hard as we speak. The landing gear is done, some other mechanisms are done as well. I'm just making sure it's all working well right now, then Ill move to do the interiors and such... and if the difficulties that i'm facing IRL don't persist, then I may be able to push it out tomorrow. That said, my mental headspace isn't at it's best right now so let's see.
@Sadboye12 don't worry, I'm not. I doubt I ever truly was. Especially knowing people like you were around me. Maybe you playing along was part of cracking the shell to get the egg. Had I have had to face telling the truth to people when I wasn't ready...
We wouldn't have gotten this story.
@Sadboye12 once again... You know, that's kwite alright... Im happy to know that, even. I thought I was alone, I really did. It's heartwarming to know that you were there an actually thought about me after figuring it out. I was under the impression that noone understood, but you did.
@Sadboye12 the Echostar is an allegory to me now. Even it's name... "Echo" and "star"
A repeating thing shining as bright as stars do is... It's emotional.
Which is why I want to see people's versions. I don't care how bad or good. This is an invitation to anyone reading. Make a twin booms plane that is meant to do one thing, show your emotion.
@overlord5453 Anytime. This is our love letter to the community in a way. It's given us a lot. I want to start giving back too... So does Tom.

+1@YarisSedan I just took it down lol.
+1I have an habit to take down forum posts after their initial impressions.
@DrakonDynamics Agreed on that. It will perform quite the ways better than a Fulcrum though.
+1I called it the Quechal's Ghost for now, somewhat of a tribute to Ukrainian "Ghost of Kyiv"
@DrakonDynamics that's pretty fair. Thanks for the insight!
+1I also was thinking that you can use the if else condition based on the current speed
+1@Zerkk that's good to know. Thanks!

+1@ThomasRoderick which does make them timeless in a way. Also, the final Echostar we decided on is 100% going to be a timeless design.
Also when I say timeless, I mean to say only in terms of how they look. Not the functionality.
+1Woah. The body work on this is lovely.
+1@Rb2h Thank you!
+1@Rb2h normally don't ask for this but... I'd love to hear your opinion!

It's alright. It's in fact helping that there's atleast interaction happening here to keep me busy

+1@Sadboye12 they mean a lot to me. Thank you. Thank you so much.
And for the record... I did just "let out" a little. So thanks for that as well. Giving me an opportunity to do that.
