It’s a good build but I have a couple of critiques. Those thrust reverser aren’t at all realistic to the actual aircraft. Lear 45’s have bucket tr’s. Second the flight physics are terrible. You can use less thrust and a reduced fuel output if you add more lift. You’ll also get better short field performance. Lears aren’t to shabby with short field ops. They can get in under 3000 feet at most airports. This Lear is hardly flyable.
Give the thing more lift. You’re touching down way too fast with to high of a vertical speed loss. Also the wheels on the mains and the nose wheel are way off.
The plane if anything is actually underweight compared to the real deal. It just needs better balance, lift and pitch authority. Don’t apologize. I don’t think anyone expects you to neglect your personal life over and outdated game. @mama1387974238742
I’ll give you a hint. The citation 500 lands under a 100 knots in the worst of conditions. Giving the thing more lift and trim would make a big difference. Can barely fly it under 150 knots as is.
In either of those numbers should there be a decimal point somewhere in there? I also plugged those variables in and nothing happened. Do you have a demonstration build? @ZeroWithSlashedO
Disagree about the looks but hey. I dig lancairs. Gotcha on the complications of moving things around. On the other hand I’m sure the CG can be corrected. @MrSilverWolf
Hey man thanks for not taking poorly. I remember my first Bush build landing gear was crazy hard for me to get right because you have to set it up for the impact force on touchdown. It has to soak up every last bit of energy without sending it elsewhere. That’s how you get rejected touchdowns. It’s hard to get right. It’s a bomb build tho. Nice job man. @XjayIndustrys
Hey man. Just a couple of things to increase the performance. First, the CG need to be shifted to the aft. Second, the suspension system is completely nonfunctional. Makes it nearly impossible to perform a two point landing or really any off airport surface.
He was mentally ill. He stole a dash 8 and flew it away from populated areas. He didn’t hurt anyone. He didn’t want to hurt anyone. He wasn’t violent. People can be scared but it didn’t really effect anyone except people who’s flight was delayed. Airlines lost money from delays but those guys can make it up in a heartbeat. Insurance took a hit on the horizon payout but insurance makes enough to cover it and still walk away with profit. It’s literally their business model. You are centering in on something that isn’t relevant. You need to consider different elements of the situation. Like the fact this guy pulled 7 g’s in a dash 8. Like the fact he intentionally didn’t harm anyone. Like the fact he could’ve snapped and commited an act of mass violence like so many other mentally ill individuals in recent events. I don’t condone stealing an aircraft. I don’t condone suicide. I condone non violence. Blue skies and tailwinds rich. @Tazziedevil04
Just a heads up. On that last XPR comment, no XPR was ever produced or delivered. The g5000 addon on was a separate STC and the design rights for winglets from the original XPR design were bought by Sierra Nevada and and now sold as a separate STC. The same thing can be said for the Williams retro fit which was purchased by nextent. You can in theory build an XPR hawker beech never produced any or delivered any.
@hpgbproductions I tried to do that. Unfortunately I have a footwell that digs into the panel. Already depressed the PFD deeper into the panel and no dice. The original 1Part hud never had the pitch elevation display issues so hopefully I can find the bit of code to fix that but the 1Part hud never had a color coded horizon. I was think about removing the bottom blue and orange blocks and resizing the bottom bottom blocks but I can’t even find the code elements for that. The thing is a real pain.
@Militarist doesn’t mean much. They’re fairly cheap and very replaceable. People are not. They do their jobs very very well. That being said all of your anti air system you just mentioned have a tendency to get HARM’d these days. Gotta love AGM-88’s. HA.
Not radar. If you fix onto a ground target it displays the target on a moving map which requires you to spawn in an object if you’re naving to an airport. Literally wanted to give the user all options for navigation. It’s pretty easy to fly in low vis conditions. @MrCOPTY
Thanks for making it and thanks for putting it out there! Seriously massively appreciate the GSI on the HUD. Made my project complete. Found it super shortly before I uploaded it and just had to incorporate it! @zwen
Idk man. Maybe. Building this was a big pain in the rear and I don’t think I’m going to be dropping anything this fresh for awhile. Tight schedule and what not these days. @FeatherWing
Hey so real quick. Yes the variables are plugged in correctly (cross check so many times) and both gauges are present at a non visual capacity. I have a feeling I didn’t describe the problem well so I uploaded a video which may help you see the problem I’m having. Either way I still appreciate the input! https://youtu.be/AJQZ6mBkw00 @Spillo
Hey man. I’m trying to get that nav system to work and coordinates are stuck on gold prix. The names cycle but nothing else. Any help? Also planning to give you a big ole fat credit. @Spillo
Bono can’t help you now. s🅱️inalla @sukaNeisti

@SayaRayhan if you have discord we can chat there
Let me know if you want to do a falcon collaboration. I have plenty of parts floating around!

Only for pilots who don’t care about actual physics of the aircraft the build is trying to replicate. @Blueshift
So this is a post for a redirect. Check the original post or the craft instructions in game. Otherwise ACT 7 for TR’s @maddogfike

I found to it be pretty effective against T-72’s, T-80’s, and T-90’s. Those cold cages don’t hold up to well for some reason.
That actually got it. Thank you so much. Been spending two days trying to figure this out! @ZeroWithSlashedO
Tried that. No dice as far as replacing the 3.6 variable next to the altitude function @ZeroWithSlashedO
