If you're still online: the first spam account shares an IP with two other similar ones, and one proper account. The second one that just posted another twenty or so forums shares an IP with IStoleYourMeme, who upvoted one of the first account's spam posts. How best to go about IP bans, in your view?
Also, any chance of a daily limit on forum posts to prevent something similar happening again?
Please don't name planes after YouTubers, this is considered spam. This post has been removed, but I'll put it back up for you if you change the name and reply to me.
You share an IP with the user that was spamming the forums, and this same address has done this a couple of times before (on a much smaller scale). Do you know anything about it?
@Glaceon oh hell no, you get banned for breaking a few rules and winding people up, sure, but we're happy to have you back. You deserved another chance...
@Tennis81 huh, you're absolutely right. That definitely how I originally found it, so I guess they maybe shuffled the islands about since the first beta. New instructions (tested right now!) are take off from bandit then head due north
@SimpleTechAndResearch that's for a slightly different "island"
@Tennis81 take off from Yeager and fly basically straight ahead until you see a small island. There's a whole chain of them to follow along until you find the big one
It can be done! There's a discoverable location inside too. There are two good ways to bypass the laser defences: either launch your missiles from really close range, or (my preferred method) fire loads at once. I got pretty easy results by loading up with 8 inferno missiles. Connect four of them to group 1 and the other four to group 2. Launch group 1 as soon as you have lock, then pull away and dodge any incoming missiles. Firing four at once should mean that at least one gets past the laser. Once you're safe and out of range, come back for the second turret. Make sure that you don't connect all the missiles on one side to the same group, or your plane will get all unbalanced when you fire it.
Yeah, you used to be able to rate them on a five-star scale, but it didn't work so well. People would use one star ratings to get revenge on someone that gave them a low rating, and others would get upset at anything less than a five star.
@AV8R ehh mine kinda struggles for air a bit, it's pretty normal to need to make some small compromises on trickier builds. Also, interestingly enough, we both got the scale just slightly off in opposite directions - if we combined them somehow, we'd have the perfect replica!
@AV8R dude your Goshawk looks awesome! It certainly deserves the feature.Also, comparing the plan views of each one, it appears that we got them almost identical haha
@DatsunVehiclesCompany yeah. DAT is an acronym for the name of the founders, and when they merged with another company that I can't remember the name of in the 20s, they became DAT Automobile Manufacturing for a while
If you want something connected to Datsun but not exactly the same, you could use their name from the 1920s (long before they became a Nissan brand) - DAT Automobile Manufacturing, or Datam.
I read that original thread before it was removed. I don't recall seeing any sort of threat. Looking at Mox's profile, you can even see that the only comment was "No off topic posts."
Generally speaking, just adding weapons to somebody else's plane is not really enough. Try to make sure you make more substantial changes of your own if you want to upload an edit.
@IStoleYourMeme I can tell from the IP that you do match the other two that have been spamming. Anything to say about that?

@General360 @denialofservice @SimpleTechAndResearch it's cool, as long as an effort at actual improvements was made, I'm fine with it

@Glaceon it seems to be a common bug upon returning from bans, I think it usually sorts itself out after a little while
@Glaceon oh hell no, you get banned for breaking a few rules and winding people up, sure, but we're happy to have you back. You deserved another chance...
All I said was that I'm working on tidying up
I think we need an explanation on why you upvoted that post
@Glaceon working on it
He has been banned, tidying up is in progress
Working on it
@Soly3908 the new beta has an option to make fuselages completely circular no matter how big they are
@tacos thanks
@Tennis81 huh, you're absolutely right. That definitely how I originally found it, so I guess they maybe shuffled the islands about since the first beta. New instructions (tested right now!) are take off from bandit then head due north
@DatsunVehiclesCompany it's a combination of two stock engines from the game and whole load of tiny fuselages
@MrMecha look a little closer
@SimpleTechAndResearch indeed
@SimpleTechAndResearch that's for a slightly different "island"
@Tennis81 take off from Yeager and fly basically straight ahead until you see a small island. There's a whole chain of them to follow along until you find the big one
Looking very impressive, and certainly feature-worthy. Tag me in it whenever it's uploaded
@HellFireKoder try doing it with dumb bombs on a prop plane?
@Leonidas1210 yeah, point defence lasers that shoot down incoming missiles
If only we had done this with the new beta fuselages...
@DeezDucks I was basically crying with laughter the whole way down the poll results

@DeezDucks if we use AGDynamics' alphabet, we could recreate the whole poll! Personally I'm quite a fan of RRS Usain Boat

Mod's comment is basically the answer, without getting in to much more tricky stuff

This is huge! I can't wait to try it out

@lujox yeah, mate, threatening to give the game one bad review is not going to help you. Just behave, yeah?
@kylew12 no, I'm a moderator, I'm one of the people who is supposed to look at those reports.
Please don't upload things that you didn't make. This also goes for the other post you made.

@kylew12 really, what were you expecting to happen when you reported my comment?
@Dstroyer101 I can see what has been reported, thank you. What I see is that you reported Mox and SimpleTechAndResearch, not the other way.
I read that original thread before it was removed. I don't recall seeing any sort of threat. Looking at Mox's profile, you can even see that the only comment was "No off topic posts."
If the other one was removed, then you shouldn't be making a second.
@kylew12 that's not an experiment, that's just trying to annoy someone. Any more behaviour like this will result in a ban.
@kylew12 and what exactly were you expecting to learn from your "experiment"? You have been warned about your behaviour towards other users before.
Please don't upload things that you didn't make. Uploading edits is fine but you must make substantial changes and improvements to justify it.

@T800 no worries. It'll take a little while to show up, but it should work now
@SimpleTechAndResearch I feel like you're trying to say something without actually saying something here. What is it?
@kylew12 well we'll have no more of that. Your comments have been deleted.
Off-topic posts belong on the forums. I think old Liz deserves a bit more than a cockpit, anyway.
