@Zaineman sweet
@Scrabble5555 No, Bell X-1, the first supersonic aircraft. You may be confused, as both were air launched high velocity vehicles.
also I wanna ask, is it ok if I modify the inputs of the throttle with overload (it won't change the max thrust)
I'm making an X-1
@Wallaby RC flyer (lightweight, various)
I've been routinely hitting 1350ktas in this thing (>Mach 2) and it hits 30km in altitude so Idk if you should count it
My plane's ready I've got it tuned up
T
@mitsuki Unless you meant using operators to stop it happening above or below a certain altitude.
@mitsuki Yeah, using TAS (True Airspeed), Like I showed you. IAS (Indicated Airspeed) is affected by altitude, which could be causing this effect.
@SpiritusRaptor Oh there is
Nice! now make a strandbeest
@jamesPLANESii You have fat fingers don't you
Wow! delete this
Drake. Why is the plane on the moon?
I do feel like the Ice Base could use a refresh.
Slick car.
Let me guess, Rotator Control System?
@Numbers2 still not realistic the airframes are not designed for or capable of surviving mach shockwaves
Neat!
Approved
If only my build was above 200
alas it is at 173
Nice plane! I like the inlet design; it's like a mix of the Su-75 and F-22!
@PyrrhaNikos Thank you I needed closure
I remember some aircraft posted as just having more than the 20 colors
I approve of the sound effects
Saw this bad boi in person at Oshkosh; really nice work!
Looks nice!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT HOLY CRAP
clever use of a pencil sharpener as the cockpit
@FlyingPatriot No its not bad, I've just seen it so much and I have no clue where it comes from
N/A weight
@Australia3 2147483647 is the 32 bit integer limit. I assume the thrust to weight ratio is calculated to the nearest thousandth, so I think the fact that 2147483.648 is the value makes me think that the thrust to weight ratio is broken
Wait a frapping second that's the 32 bit integer limit divided by 1000
Alot cooler than the actual HESA Shafaq
slava ukrani!
"What do you mean by that?" the first thing I thought of: "The drowning part Schmidt, is that real?"
I didn't know some of those were tags
CAN. IT. RUN. DOOM.
hm. good stuff
@HiddenSorrows No, its really just physics. SP doesn't really take into account AoA into inlet air intake.
Those inlets are going to have loss of air above 10 degrees AoA, up to 50% at 20.
Still a cool plane though
Flies like a purebred PSM plane! Nice work.
Now we just need German Arkbird
@Zaineman Yaw Fly By Wire. It's an acronym I use.
T Also that's really stable, although If I may, perhaps tuning down the yaw fbw? I noticed fluttering of the rudders even at that speed.
