What a rip-off ! I thought it would float :p Fun concept. For the take-off issue, you can move the wheels forward so that they are a little behind the CoG. Or if you like gadgets, put an actuator or a rotator to give a push on the front wheel and simulate a bump.
@Maxwell1 For some reason I tend to do rather flat designs. Coincidentally, this makes for lower inertia on the pitch axis, which I would say is a plus for agility :)
@jlewisifer @shadowmaker108 Thank you, kind sirs !
Wow ! Really cool concept ! Like a mix of P-38 Lightning, Yermoyalev bomber, and a J7W ! Flies well, nice attention to detail, espceially with the bomber and turret view and controls.
@ChiChiWerx Oh yeah I forgot to mention that. If you move the engines too fast, since the hinges are somehow not fully rigid, you have a bit of a whiplash effect the props hits the fuselage.
@Sarpanitu of course for a totally free design I would have gone for a tricycle and made sure the CoG was way behind the forward wheel, but to make an imitation I thought it was more relevant to simply scale the brakes, rather than adding exotic components. It also behaves more naturally :p
Really amazing. I was thinking of doing a Typhoon or tempest, but actually now, for any WW2 replica I'm jsut gonna scroll voer and see if you have it. Great job !
@ChiChiWerx the Feather was actually some beforehand experimenting :p . And yes, I try to keep the models simple. I'm more interested in getting the overall shape and dimensions (as well as characteristics) right than tweaking all sorts of little details. My day job involves making details nad I get my fair share of that already :p
@VladCelTroll Are you a War Thunder player XD ?
@ChiChiWerx I have them but I struggle to put them in place, they sink into the wings. Otherwise they would belong on the side behind the wings but it's not a flat surface so I think it would only look uglier. I wish there were decals in the game or a way to paint like in trackmania.
Hi all and thanks again for all these nice comments and votes. With the new air intakes available I could make that thing even nicer :

@BogdanX Mmmh that's strange, I actually tried both of these solutions eventhough they're a bit counter-intuitive, I guess I didn't go far enough. One would think dead weight at the front would make it even more prone to flip over. The flat-bottom airfoil for the canard would also bring more drag to the front (although I'm not sure how this is exactly modelled in the game), while I would have tried to put drag at the back so it aligns with the airflow from the front.
Oh I love those kind of thing. I actually already have a droppable vehicle, but haven't made a succesful drop-ship for it yet.
Took off and landed, woohoo ! The prop didn't make it though. RIP bro.

Elegant, and flies well ! Good job !

@Mumpsy Thanks !
Interesting control concept. I still haven't got the hang of it, but I'll try to get to know it more.
@Mumpsy Thanks !
Hehe thanks

Planes on planes and detachables...right up my alley ! Nice work !

Amazing work ! Must have been a pain to assemble ! Good job on the decoupling of the pitch and roll.
I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite spaceship build.
Very nice build, easy to fly despite the balancing :)

Thank you all for your nice comments ! I'm glad you appreciate the landing gear :)
Thank you all for your nice comments ! :)
Really cool, good job on the canopy !
Sadly it exploded when I tried droping the bombs (I did open the bay doors).
Looks like Thunderbird 2 :p

Same thing here, the handling is really agile and fun, and the looks are cool !
@MasterKiryu Thanks a lot, much appreciated :)
Pretty cool. Could use some special features though :p

Cool concept ! It's fun to fly. I think doing some adjustments on the wheels may make it easier to land with.
Looks nice and handles really nicely !
Thanks :)

Thank you all for your kind words :)

Tahnks :) Again, glad you guys like it ! This one gave a bit of trouble. The Viggen should be much less hassle.
@Badnews I'm glad to bring fun to other players !

Thank you all very much !
@Liquidfox I might as well do the whole Saab bunch then. The Lansen should be easy apart from the air intakes.

In any case, thanks a lot for fixing it !
Flies good, looks good, nice attention to details, especially the guns.
Ah, the trick was to replace it by another engine and then back to the T-2000.
Thank you for your suggestions anyway !
@Shmexysmpilot I tried that several times, and it didn't work :(
@AmerigoB Like this ? :

@v7thSharkv Haha, I didn't plan to make it a floatplane but I guess you can add some buoyancy to it if you want :)
