Basically No.5 (What) was built around a concept, that didn't work. It was slow, heavy for its size and a failure. Unlike designs with effort (like the F-93 Saturn) it simply flew for a bit. In the right hands I have no doubt it could escape trouble easily, but in the hands of AI that wasn't gonna happen.
@enzoBoeing757 stealing would literally be repainting the original creation. I chose to do a BT-67 over a DC-3 because the BT would actually require me to build a successor with changes over some paint. I fully credit @pancelvonat for the original airframe, but the lengthened fuselage and turboprop engines are all changes I personally made to reflect differences featured on the actual Basler BT 67. I didn't mention pancelvonat in my description due to the presence of the auto credit system, giving me less pre-requisites when writing the description. If you still find issues with me, I'd prefer to discuss this in my twitter DM's (@NINTEND0SH). Thank you for your concern.
I'm not surprised this doesn't fly well. In War Thunder it took less than 10 minutes for me to violently plow into the ground because the wings tore off.
This is the only other single prop of this size and I'm going to admit you've done a very good job. Actually actually worried about what this is gonna do to my entry.
I'm pulling my entry (the rocketeer) out of the competition due to the fact that I have designed much better airframes in the past. I will presumably be entering with 1 of them.
I play a lot of War thunder and I honestly love this thing. It has an excellent Power to weight ratio and a fairly good gun for its battle rating. Love to see more people recognise the Czechpanzer.
Ok so from what I can tell the COM is behind the COL. there are 2 ways to fix this. 1: Make a plane so small that this won't be a problem (my preferred solution) or 2: Listen to JediWolf.
Also known as the Schewer Gustav railway/railroad artillery piece, that thing saw service on the Eastern front during World War 2. There were plans to mount it on Maus Chassis', creating the P1500 Munster.
@Beria try and get the centre of mass (red sphere) and centre of lift (blue sphere) next to each other. Centre of thrust (yellow sphere) is unpredictable but put it close to the main wing.
@Beria about 40'000 lb at 300mph with the new engine and wing design. Big Bertha could carry about the same, albeit slower. although I tested the design with the old engines and it broke the sound barrier.
@Shemes213 why do you think I added "Tarantula Hawk" to the name
I mean darn my Aircraft are bad but at least they can actually take off... sometimes

What in gods name did you do to the Scorpion
@AWESOMENESS360 the username is in brackets. Whack that into the twitter search bar and i should be the first result
KV-34, destroyer of turret rings.
+1Well let's just say it takes a while to get used to the size. But it is a magnificent build.
Tested against ME-262 4 times. 75% success rate
@Nerfaddict Not gonna lie I was more scared by the idea that my IPad can run a plane nearly the size of the huge bad ship from Star Wars 8
Ok so you're not gonna believe this but my potato of an IPad somehow didn't melt when i was downloading it,
It got hit by debris from a random AI plane and still worked perfectly so that's probably a good sign.
+1So how long until the plane that I designed as a civilian cruiser crashes and burns like the other 99% of my design
Well it's more creative than my use of the weapon (see the UC-98 Pershing), which used a stock airframe, uncreative name and some other weapons)
+1Geez this thing makes a Bob Semple look like an Abrams
+3I generally prefer to build fictional. It generally leads me to feel more free with my designs, and has lead to some bangers TBH.

+2This is actually brilliant.
+1I feel like the guns are a bit far apart but apart from that it's a good fighter

Flew through the USS Beast. Landed on an escort cruiser. 11/10
@ChristianBoer serious. It's not a problem, I just find it hilarious
+2It has so many drag points my IPad suggested I try to call the number
+6Bob Semple tank.
+1(Laughs in Bee)
Quite the unfortunate name

@TyDillon13GEICO yeah whilst I can't say I suffered that issue, that was during a fuel consumption test on autopilot
@TyDillon13GEICO I shall concede that. If anything your plane has me kinda worried

+1After the Notre Dame and Portugal Bus crash I am now certain we can't go a week without tragedy

Downloaded this. Expected it to fly normally. Immediately crashed into a mountainside the second I let go of the controls.
10/10 would crash and die again
I wasn't expecting my weeny IPad 4S to even handle this thing. I am genuinely amazed at what has been built here.
Some minor vibration issues but generally good.
"Designed to fly at night". Just cover it in High Visibility Jackets.

+1Das a Whippet
@Bman01 About an hour ago
It's already on a creation
+1@connect your simpleplanes account to the game and hit the "share aircraft" button
+1@Roadrunner232 it's just a title. I know a fair bit about WW1 but mostly the consequences (emu war, Hitler, ETC)

Not to be confused with the Elefant tank destroyer
+1@Fartspoppop it said 25 parts or less
7/10 pretty good
Can we just appreciate that there are REAL SHIPS that are smaller than this
