@Johndfg An easy simple method is just to get a camera in the right position, then cover the camera with a clipped black circular inlet to act as the scope with black crosshairs. Once the bombsight is built, set a custom location at the altitude you want like 5,000ft or something that flies over an airport runway or some kind of reference for bomb hits. You would do a test flight and adjust the scope + camera complex angle until the scope is pointing right where the bombs are hitting.
@Mainblocks I decided to go for the KI-84 over the KI100 simply because the KI84 was produced in far greater numbers, the KI100 was a pretty rare sight in combat. I wanted to represent a countries most numerous, best fighter for the mid war timeline.
@Zerokiller3 In the works @JackTheBestBoss I think my current fastest fighter is the Griffon @TheNCRranger I think it would, yeah. If you have the setting turned on for it.
@ChiChiWerx I'm never a fan of retouching stuff thats already been released, It's much more fun to design new cockpits for completely new designs. Next time you start a new plane design, gimmie a holla and I'll be happy to build a cockpit for you then :)
@EpicPigster1 go nuts dude. Also thanks for the spotlight - I fixed up the griffon gear, not only was it too low, it was too far forward. Thanks for spotting that.
@Mainblocks Using overload mod, select gun, open overload window, go to 'gun' press the + button and add damage (lowercase) in the box next to it add the damage value.
I think the default damage value is something like 35.
Also keep in mind every time a bullet is fired from the gun it has a small chance of dealing double or half damage.
@Tazziedevil04 The short answer is that I just hate repeating myself

I could give each aircraft the same red or yellow identification colours on the nose/tail, but it's more interesting to explore other options. This is the most popular colour scheme for LA-5's early on the war, but since I've already used this paint scheme for my mig-3 I wanted to try something else.

Russians are pretty unique in their colour schemes because they use unusual colours for their identifications. Where most of the world just used yellow or red or white, Russia used purples, maroons & cyans.

This la-5fn is a combination of this late war grey colour scheme and this blue identification colour. I just feel like the result looks unique but still sticks to the historical roots.

If you wanna download the AI version of this plane, the colour scheme is based of this - which is the colour scheme used by the top russian fighter ace of the war, I think he was called Kozhedub. Links to AI versions are always in the description of my stuff
@CursedFlames That shouldn't happen at all unless you're using keyboard arrows or something. If you add like 300lbs dead weight to the front of the aircraft, somewhere, that should fix it for you.
it's gone over briefly in pro american style, but we have so much dark history with the empire it's not really seen as an extraordinary event compared to the rest of it
@Gemista the gunsight is accurate, Mk8. Only a few hundred installed, on the last razorbacks. The reticle is just a straight circle instead, while this has a different flair.
@EpicPigster1 pretty good, saving it. I'm digging these internal cockpits. Something I can never do myself. Flies so smoothly too! Forgot to scale down the cockpit cam down to microscopic though, is that on me? ;)
I think it's possible. I'd have to build 2 Airplanes, the first is a huge bomber. The second would be a turret that could attach itself to the first plane at the back using some kind of strange mechanism. It would take you both spawning in the same place, then moving close together and engaging this locking mechanism.
You'd end up with the pilot flying the plane and the gunner controlling the rear turret in multiplayer server.
If a lot of people are into that idea, I might consider actually building it for fun.
@Swinly AI version's up, and starting on it now @EpicPigster1. @JackTheBestBoss It's in the plans, although large bombers take a long time to get right more are coming @Oski
@ChiChiWerx Its two hinges put extremely close to each other, one of them retracts the landing gear into the wing & at the same time the second moves the gear back about 15 degrees.
@EpicPigster1 hey man, sorry for the silence - been struck down with bad flu. Could you throw up your latest razor design and I'll get a gunsight set on it.
@F4f879 Take out the wing fuel tanks, reduce the internal fuel to 100 gal and add a little weight on the nose and it would become just as good a turner as the 109.
@WNP78 I've created what you described before, firing with 'Fireweapons', and I've also created multiple part missiles that can be powered by either new rockets or old missiles that can only work either by hitting activation group or locking on to target and fireweapons
My question is, is it possible to combine those two examples into one? A multi-part rocket or bomb fired using FireWeapons?
Love that slavic fuselage shape

How about a custom bombsight? They're very easy to make and give a lot of fun flying the aircraft.
@Benkelmans @marcox43 look at my planes and you'll see answers
@Creeperslayerz It's just one of my aircraft, I have them all set to CAM1 as the pilot seat, with a crosshair built using tiny lights
@Mainblocks yeah, you'd do it manually. It takes me a good 4-5 hours for every cockpit :(
@Mainblocks just the finetuner mod.

I can't believe this has barely 30 upvotes. Ridiculous.
great cockpit!

+210/10 right until a star destroyer rammed me
@Scottydoestuff using low physics? Switch to medium when you spawn it in. Then switch back to low after a few seconds of flight.
@EpicPigster1 Or maybe a corsair. WINK
@TheMutePaper Don't bet on it
This design is genius, is it possible to build a version of this that doesn't cause the 'part damaged' prompt?
@Farmlad pretty much all of the good editing mods are available on Android - overload, colour editor, finetuner for example.
is this the final version?
@Agung44 were any of them armed with crazy weapons besides just cannons?
dem colours
@Agung44 I don't think there is a way. I know how to change the exhaust colour, but thats about it
What aircraft did you have in mind?
@Agung44 Sure man, that komet I built for you doesn't work in the recent update I need to get around to fixing that
Submitted one to mobile, this was fun!

@EpicPigster1 Thank you :) But yeah, I'd love to see an unlisted post
LOVE these colours dude
@EpicPigster1 go nuts dude. Also thanks for the spotlight - I fixed up the griffon gear, not only was it too low, it was too far forward. Thanks for spotting that.
I don't care if he uses it, don't worry guys.
@Agung44 Wondered where you've been man. This looks great, impact force and damage so high :o
@MethaManAircraft You'll see a tempest V in around a month, maybe earlier. Will definitely consider that colour scheme! Looks deadly

@Sarpanitu strange, it should fly level at 1k at max speed. Nice idea to fix it though. @Mainblocks go nuts!

Best seaplane on this site. Well done

@WNP78 I think he was asking what are the defaults for these xml values for the default missile, default gun ect.
@EpicPigster1 hey man, sorry for the silence - been struck down with bad flu. Could you throw up your latest razor design and I'll get a gunsight set on it.
@Oski Definitely - have some more bombers in the works.
Good to see this finished boys
@TheOwlAce I couldn't figure out exactly why that was happening, if anyone did discover the cause I'd delete this and reupload.

+1I'm in, great idea. give me any nation that is underpopulated.
I'm liking that cockpit :)
