Also, quick tip, make sure to look for plenty of seamless textures online, and perhaps 3D models as well. If you want to add a 3D model/aircraft you built in SimplePlanes, export the file as obj/stl then drag into your unity project.

Physics intensive parts have a higher lag input; suspension, wings, buoyancy, wheels have a lot more lag than basic fuselage parts.
